It is really inconvenient. To really get the most out of it, you need a system that's completely analog. Digital reproduction of vinyl (and that includes these insane 24-bit 96kHz FLAC rips you see on the internet) isn't especially great and well, it loses a lot of the authenticity. At least, I think so. I have to say though, vinyl is worth buying just for the sleeves alone. A lot of cover art looks really, really good on 12"x12".

Radiohead - Exit Music (For a Film)

Bose stuff is kinda overpriced but it works. Good buy on the Audio-Technicas. Even their low-end stuff is incredible quality, but you'd want to look elsewhere for oontz oontz pounding bass. It's not really a part of the AT sound - Beyerdynamic and Sennheiser cans handle that better. I wouldn't especially recommend any Sennheiser headphones apart from the HD650 which are pretty much the best for price/performance under £300, although you'd need an amplifier for them. ATs are fine for 99% of music though, a good catch-all solution.

Ping reading is wrong by the way. Tested a few times after and exactly the same. It's actually spinning around 25-30ms. All the other servers give me weird ping results too so I don't know what to say.

I never have Windows Defender turned on so that's why it was weird. Also it had a habit of using quite a bit of memory, which matters when 2GB is getting stretched now.

Avast 5 is pretty nice. Switched to it after some issue with MSE using 50% of my CPU cycles and it does fine for me.

Saw this coming years ago and yes, it sets a precedent. But you know, money will run out eventually. Good thing music is a product, not information. While I know what you're saying and have to force myself to agree, I really cannot stand the mentality of music as a product. I make music because I love doing it (and it's not to say that people who get paid for doing so don't love it as well) but imagining what I'm doing as something that's a "product" is very, very depressing.
