  1. Why I don't really like Payload: [hide][/hide] Too easy to do that and not really satisfying either. I can't say I enjoy defending on PL maps much as well.

I am so glad to be free of TalkTalk honestly. They are the dregs, along with BT and all those other providers that shape the crap out of people.

    Haha Tim, take it easy mate. Life is best if you don't rush through it and burn out at 22. In other news: new internet today! Really good for the UK over ADSL before you guys laugh. ;-;
  4. that's what you get for using Sky Broadband.
  5. Screen resolution would be nice to know + I feel it might be tight with 250w. A low-profile card might be possible though. Graphics card is probably the simplest component of the computer to change as you can't really go wrong - plug it in, attach a power connector if you need to and there you have it.
  6. Heh, Evita is pretty nice actually. Decently interesting and the guitarist is a bit of a beast.
  7. My thoughts on Chrome so far: it's actually good. Impossibly better than when I first tried it and it doesn't jolt about anywhere near as much. It looks really great too. I'm going to see if it sticks with me from now on.
  8. Azusa is dope but I'm not too sure about the others. Oh, Mio is nicely done too.
  9. 1. What kind of a keyboard do you use? (ergonomic, gaming, something completely different?) Some cheap Microsoft keyboard. 2. How much do you use the keyboard? Do you often use it instead of the mouse? Most of the time because I game and type a lot. I can use it to navigate Windows but I have a sensitive mouse so typically it's faster to do it mouse-way. 3. How fast can you type? (a link to a typing speed test is included at the bottom, if you haven't done one already) Typing from my head I can easily do 100+ but on tests I get about 60-80wpm. 4. Anything else worth mentioning? Nothing in particular.
  10. I still want one. ;-; Played my first two games of deathmatch today and I did fine, surprisingly. Very close to 1:1 K/D as scout. I thought I was gonna get destroyed but nope, whilst most of them were somewhat/quite better, I found a few players on my level and it was fun. It's really tiring though because you spawn randomly and have to be alert and observant constantly - really good practice for awareness. I feel like I've improved my scouting a lot from an hour of playing against people who really, really know this game.

Screwed up a couple of my friends too. No idea if they just got the bad stuff or something, but they're definitely not how they used to be.
  12. It ain't that bad. Too used to Opera personally though. Not sure how Opera scores any more and I don't particularly care because Firefox is near enough Internet Explorer nowadays. I'm interested in Chrome but the one time I tried it, I found simple things like the download management to be impractical and it felt kind of jarring, not smooth like Opera feels to me. I reset my forms and cleared my cache in both browsers and pages load really nicely in Opera but they hang and then suddenly everything loads at once. I guess this is probably to do with the rendering engine and I would probably get used to it eventually but it doesn't feel as nice to use. Also it leaked far too much memory, more than Fx ever did. I'll grab a recent version of Chrome and maybe I will be converted, but until then it is Norway's browser for me.
  13. I don't think we're doing that badly buddy.
  14. Screw you. Those things are rare.

    Great stuff.
  16. This thread is the best thread on here in a very, very long time.
  17. Ubuntu server is a whole different kettle of fish compared to the desktop edition.
  18. I think I feel this way too. I refuse to say any more on the matter because I will be branded as ten million things I am not.
  19. Denial of Service attacks are rather nineties.
  20. Plenty of good s**t in the genre. Even your beloved /mu/ thinks so as well.
  21. Protest the Hero's Kezia is pretty much essential listening for anyone interested in metalcore.
  22. What is with all you Americans making threads about us? You know [bleep] all.
  23. I wish I bought a 9800 when I built this PC. :< Factory OCed stuff tends to be of varying quality and generally not as good as buying a stock card and OCing it yourself. Actually they tend to perform worse than stock cards anyway / the gain is negligible for the added premium. Seconding a PSU check. It's generally a good idea to have a rudimentary knowledge of your components before adding/removing anything.
