  1. In New Zealand? What do you mean by that? The sky was red where I live as well. Maybe something bad is going to happen to everyone in the Southern Hemisphere. :ohnoes:
  2. Nope, but I heard about the Bushfires in Aussie just before, they mentioned the death toll changing (probably going up) at the end of news. Edit: Hope everyone in Aussie who's affected by the bushfires are okay.
  3. I thought it was pretty good for a first attempt at pixel art, hell, better than anything I can do. :)
  4. OMG UNHEARD OF. A "METALHEAD" WHO LISTENS TO HIP-HOP? OMFG, YOU'RE SO UNIQUE. Are you okay? You always seem sarcastic and cranky :(

Happy birthday :) I hope you had a great 21st ^^; Today I had fun with watercolour pencils, then had a panic attack because I had so many things to do before going to a friend's picnic.

Again, probably for the same reasons we haven't contacted "them". Either they/we can't yet, or we/they simply don't know they/we exist. It's not as if Earth is the centerpoint of sentient life that all other planets know about and want to establish communications with. Maybe there aren't any forms similar to humans i.e they could have small brains or are still in a prehistoric-like stage or something.
  7. Well it's actually a folded piece of A4 white paper that I drew it on, and I'm giving the piece of paper to her, not giving anything digitally coloured because it'd look like I found a random picture online and printed it out (which makes me look lazy).
  8. I drew this for my friend's birthday: [hide=][/hide] :wall: I ruined it. I used watercolours fyi >_< and yes there are lots of smudges and mistakes but.. :| shhh Anyone care to digitally colour it? >_< I think I mucked up by getting a bad original scan though... http://img504.imageshack.us/img504/1720/scan0001re7.gif is where it's at.. it's quite large. Post images here if you digitally colour it. P.S It was inspired by an ad by company called pheonix or something.

I think that was in a magazine once. I forgot the reasoning, but it is to your advantage to switch your choice. It was in the novel "The curious incident of the dog in the nighttime". I must reread it. I'm reading it for English and I've read it before so I thought I might type up the reasoning just in case you'd like to read it. [hide=The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time]Let the doors be called X, Y and Z. Let Cx be the event that the car is behind door x and so on. Let Hx be the event that the host opens door x and so on. Supposing that you choose Door X, the possibility that you win a car if you then switch your choice is given by the following formula: [. = multiply] P(Hz ^ Cy) + P(Hy ^ Cz) =P(Cy).P(Hz|Cy) + P(Cz).P(Hy|Cz) =(1/3.1) + (1/3.1) = 2/3 The second way you can work it out is by making a picture of all the possible outcomes like this: [my attempt to type out what the diagram is in the book, try writing it out on paper if it's confusing] Door: Goat1 Goat2 Car /\ /\ /\ stick change stick change stick change |||||| You get a: goat car goat car car goat So if you change, 2 times out of 3 you get a car. And if you stick, you only get a car 1 time out of 3. And this shows that intuition can sometimes get things wrong. And intuition is what people use in life to make decisions. But logic can help you work out the right answer.[/hide]

  13. What's with the newspaper smacking? -Smacks with newspaper- I think it's just a red.. image. The background is .. average, looks like you used a default brush or something (even though it's 'brushless'). :| I can't think of anything to say.

Yep, they're all mine, but I wouldn't recommend eating them. Really? That's gross. xD How long have you collected them for & how does your girlfriend react to them?

  21. 2nd and 3rd's backgrounds are both too blurry, hurts my eyes.
  22. I like the one in the bottom left corner. Did you draw them irl and then scan them? If yes, how'd you get the picture so clean? (I always have smudges when I scan up pictures/sketches)
