  1. Wth there's a Pi Day? I don't think I know 10 holidays, but I like 1) Actually never mind, I don't think I have a particular interest for holidays considering I don't do much for any.
  2. Probably a cat person. Dogs generally try to hump my leg/claw up my skirt. Cats kinda hurt when they use their claws on me, plus they're really snobby - but they're soooo cute.. (plus I'm asian so I love cute things -.-) But my pets (especially cats) always die in less than a year. The longest I've had a pet for is about 9 months, and I've had about 10 pets.
  3. Not me; it would suck to see everyone you know/love die because they're not immortal like you. Even if they got to be immortal with me, I still wouldn't want to because life is so boring, there's only so much you can do before you get bored.
  4. What what? Is that the one where the guy's drunk and swings his kid into a shelf or something? Man that's scary D: Good idea, I'll try that to! Me too! On Topic: I've never bought any of that stuff, probably never will either. I don't trust those ads... I always wonder if the "limited offer; buy one now in the next 5 minutes, get a second one free" really are limited/going for 5 minutes, or are they actually a permanent deal.

Im still waiting for Cyco's entry. I am too actually.
  6. I don't like the original "Friday the 13th" o.o But the poster looks cool.
  7. How can you dislike meat?!?! O_O LIES!!! Vegetarianism. Nuff said. I love animals too much... I know what you're all thinking about that last line. You remind me of my friend who says that killing cats for food is bad because they have feelings, but cows can be killed for meat because they don't.

[/hide] Lmao, I can only dream of wishing for those grades. :XD: Lol i not nerd :( what are merits? Those are Internals right? Don't expect externals to be marked so quickly. Those are NCEA's. Controversial NZ secondary school examinations. Grading system goes : Excellence>Merit>Achieved>Not Achieved. Yeah, but I'm year 10. I'm doing one class for NCEA, wonder when I'll get my external marks back. I bet I failed. -.- I haven't done anything today, so I'll just write what I did yesterday. I went to form class for an hour, had some waffles (they were kinda bad), emptied my locker. Then I went to go prepare for prizegiving - tied my hair up in pigtails with red and green hairties and a red bow (SUPA KAWAII -.-) Then I played guitar for prizegiving, I played; Don't know why, jingle bell rock, hot n cold by katy perry. I got an award for excellence in social studies and maths Then we finished school (woot last day) and a few friends and I went up town and done some random christmas shopping. I PLAYED GUITAR HERO WORLD TOUR. So fun.
  9. I'm pretty sure that potatoes are veggies. But mmmmmm steak.... Pft, man up. :P Vegemite is for STRONG PEOPLE!
  10. Our school janitor played the drums at a practise for prizegiving. At prizegiving we sang the song "Hot N Cold" by Katy Perry. The prizegiving was meant to be the most formal occasion of the year. Edit: Your school seems fun penguingeek3.
  11. Horizontally striped shirts? On topic, what type of jewelry are you looking for? Hannah Montana merchandise. If you're planning on buying something for your girlfriend, yeah, maybe you should reconsider what you're getting her. (get the above)
  12. Well if it were possible, why would you want to deprive yourself of sleep? It's so peaceful.

I used to play it about 2 years ago at lunch time, but I sucked badly because NOBODY EXPLAINED THE RULES TO ME. I wasn't much of an asset, whichever team got me ended up getting an "advantage" or an extra point or something like that. It was Touch Rugby, I'd be good if someone had explained it to me. -.- I mean, I got the ball on the line, whatever that's called once.
  14. Muse - Time Is Running Out Living On a Prayer pwns; well, I only like this one cover of it, not the original. :
  15. I've only played a few games on there. (the following listand one other) 1. Brick a Brac 2. Pixelate (I actually think this one is quite fun, but if you play it for too long it gets boring) 3. Chess
  16. Stuff like chips and deep fried food aren't good if you have a sore throat. That's what my mum says anyways, dunno if that's relevant.
  17. Favourite: Noodles, probably. Dislikes: Pumpkin, asparagus, a whole bunch of stuff. I don't really like too much fatty food, makes me feel bad about myself. -.- CABBAGE ISN'T TOO BAD, NOR IS OTHER VEGETABLES.
  18. No, the monitor stays completely blank. I believe it was bought in 2006 (I rummaged through some Warranty booklets and they said it was printed in 2006) Thanks for all the advice about the graphics card possibly having a problem. We're getting a family friend over this afternoon to see if he can do anything about it and I'll show him this forum topic. ^_^ Thanks.
  19. Desktop, and I don't know what I'm doing. Repairs are like $60 an hour -.-
  20. Didn't work. Also, the hard drive makes a really weird unnatural whirring sound. Like WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO etc. The monitor says "Monitor going to sleep." So yeah, it thinks it's on standby or whatever.
  21. 1. Writing an essay in Word, Gmail and Bebo. 2. Desktop. Thanks Sindarin, I'll just go try that right now.
  22. I am currently typing from my old computer. On my new computer, the power-on button for the hard drive has a light which turns green when it's on. Also, when the computer is on, the mouse will light up red at the bottom. The Situation This morning, I went on the computer, it worked fine, everything was normal. I come home and my sister said that the monitor wasn't working. [she left the room to help my parents out with something, walked back in and it was blank] I walk into the computer room to find that the hard drive's power-on button was flashing green & the mouse was lit up red on the bottom; this is what happens when the computer is on standby/sleep. We have tried turning the computer on and off but whenever we turn it on, it automatically "goes to standby/sleep", without any loading pages (The monitor stays blank). The monitor says that there is no signal input (which is what happens when the computer is on standby). We have established that there is nothing wrong with the monitor itself, because we tried to plug our old monitor into the new computer and it also says that there is no signal, so there must be something wrong with the hard drive. Note: I have not downloaded any new programs recently.
