  1. Yes, I totally support taxing the rich harder. Universal health care also seems to be the only solution for America's glaringingly terrible health care at this point. It seems to work well for Europe. Americans have this strange fear of socialism even though much of our society is already socialized: plumbing, fire department, police, etc. Obama, in my eyes, knows what to spend taxpayer money on better. You see... I don't support the Republican party and its advocation of corporate socialism. Not to mention its majority stance on foreign policy.
  2. Hey man! How you doin'? You know you're homophobic if you thought that was gay...
  3. I know. I can't believe a democrat actually won on the internet! Those dirty liberals and their technology! Us farmers down here in Alabama don't need no darn computers to get the truth. We either read the paper and are misinformed or don't read the paper and are uninformed!
  4. I'm confused... I want to know what caused me to be so awesome.
  5. Being a democrat or a republican doesn't mean you have to throw critical thinking into the trash bin. Countless republican politicians and newspapers endorsed Obama in this campaign, simply because he was the better candidate. Even Palin's native newspaper which is republican-leaning, Anchorage Daily News, endorsed Obama. Likewise, if the democrats field a crappy candidate in the next elections, while republicans field a popular, liked candidate such as Ron Paul, you can bet your money a lot of democrats will also endorse the better candidate regardless of party affiliation. Some people really ought to think again, just how much do party labels mean anymore? I like Obama in a great many ways, and I find that the impact that he's going to have on the US, both internally an internationally, for the most part should be good. The only problem is that my political views are just too conservative for voting for him (translating into me being a Republican). From what I've seen on this forum that somehow translates to me being a worthless [wagon] in the eyes of not a few members, but that's what I am. Hell, I was even considering voting for Obama, if only for a second. That's how good a president I think he's going. On the point of party labels, they only mean something only insofar as they represent the views of the voter. I am a Republican because of my views, not the other way around. I'm just curious... Is he too socially liberal or economically liberal for you? I personally believe in fiscal conservatism (reducing the national debt and balancing the federal budget) but am very liberal when it comes to social things such as abortion, gay marriage, etcetera (these things matter a lot to me). However, I am what you could call a deficit hawk. I'm more willing to raise taxes if we also cut spending. Great way to reduce the national debt. Obama was the natural choice for me.

Pretty decent jacket unless that frilling around the hood is part of the jacket rather than his hair... Looks a bit out of place. Plus, it would do hardly anything against cold. It's only a few times as thick as paper.
  7. Why, then, do you believe Jesus is the Son of God and pray to him? And who are you to guess what Jesus' or God's intentions were? How do you know God so personally? Does he answer your prayers with fluent speech? You obviously acknowledged the possibility that Jesus was insane. Why do you believe he can hear the voices of the dead and remember the future? I simply don't understand why you believe any of this if not for the Bible...

I don't know how anyone could feel any differently... Assuming that all the people are moral and decent human beings overall, saving 5 over 1 is far better. As for the hospital case, I don't know how anyone could feel any differently... That one person has far more right to live than a million dying people. It's his/her choice alone to die for them.
  9. So every time someone quotes the Bible in order to prove someone wrong about something, that part of the Bible wasn't meant to be taken seriously. I get it now.
  10. I don't know any gay people irl.

  12. Marijuana can't hold even a flicker of a shadow of a candle at how bad cigarettes are for you. It being illegal isn't protecting anyone. Yes, it should be legalized.
  13. Do you actually read these other religious books ready to abandon your previous beliefs or do you read them just to tell yourself that you chose your religion rather than your parents? ^ I know that sounds harsh but I couldn't think of a better way to say it...

I feel like the only person who went through puberty without acne problems... Don't worry man, you're perfectly normal.

I don't ever wear jackets. Shorts and t-shirts year round down here in the desert of Arizona.
  16. That's not a very fair comparison. Teaching calculus does not exclude the future or past learning and acknowledgement of the truth of geometry.
  17. Nice 99 and fantastic bank. 10/10
  18. We already have a thread in which abortion has become the main topic of discussion. New question! Why does the Bible have more credibility than any other religious Holy Book according to Christians?
  19. Geez.... 10/10
  20. Wow that was some pro prayer switching! That was intense to watch. Even though you didn't kill him, good job.
  21. I miss the good days when fletching and cooking were great profit. And smithing, crafting, and herblore didn't cost millions and millions for a few levels...
  22. Nah, it's just hardened poop.
  23. So you aren't a Christian? What are you? The video was intended for Christians. :?: :!: :?: :!:
