yea funny story. this dude named bankrobber2 used to buy all new runes for 1k each, didnt matter wether it was cosmic or any other type of new rune.. dunno what he used it for but this other dude named Lord_Me did the same thing and both of them got banned at some point. so new runes rocked my boat for a while at least thanks to bankrobber2 and lord_me :thumbsup: although im fairly certain they were up to some shady business hehehehehehe

Haha, the entire glitch with bearded women was a scream in general. It wasn't really a glitch. Just packet manipulation using a different client than the one Jagex gave you. With the normal RS client you make a female character, get a female formed platebody on, than go to the makeover mage and change your gender to male with a beard and voila. V1rta is the highest level bearded lady ever btw. courtesy of hohto's great pic website.

Its possible to have a significantly lower overall skill total, but have triple or quadruple the amount of xp points. On the other hand a high overall demonstrates the ability and/or will to take up more than just a few skills and raise them, which is good in a game where variation is rewarded. i.e a well rounded 85/85 cook/fisherman is likely to make more money than a level 99 cook with 60 fishing. Which goes for smithing/mining, woodcutting/firemaking (with regards to spending money on logs you cannot cut yourself). and more. So I wouldn't say total levels is overrated, no. But those with low overall and higher exp will of course always seek recognition, as low overall is less noticed or paid attention to in general I think. I myself have low overall, yet I always lie in the top 1-5 bracket of all the people who have the same overall level, and yeah it feels good :thumbsup:

I think it was when they went premium version. That was the decisive step from being a banner click website, to a real company with real employees not working in their moms basement anymore :thumbsup: Truth is there would be no Runescape or Runescape 2 if it wasn't for the transition. The costs of running the servers and upkeep was too high and nobody clicked banners even though Andrew said we should, threatening to either shut down RS completely or making the game p2p. A) The runescape gods, the existing pictures, the study decorations, etc. B) Anyone who can walk across water and through walls and unreleased areas. And don't start with those black space glitches >.< I don't see the connection between my post and yours , hehe. The only game I've played with a real round world was Populous 3, and that was back in 1999 : RS is FLAT until someone walks in one straight-lined direction and goes from point A to point A without retracing their steps :D

You should thank him in this post, instead of calling him stupid and in the same post revealing to all that you got scammed. Something which should be next to impossible to happen if you are blessed with eyes, and the ability to project from eye to brain what is happening on the screen.

Well brute force programs tend to use the most common words as well, so it makes sense. Who would have thought that Jagex could get ridiculed for trying to keep accounts safe..

Like you I'm guessing the end of this decade, or perhaps in 2011 they will re-open RSC to the general public on Runescapes 10 year anniversary.
