Back when I was a low level, I had a Spear obession. Since super weapon poison wasn't around yet, the best posion for spears was kp. I went to do Tai Bwo Wanni Trio, and when giving the hunting brother the spear, I didn't kp poison it as the quest required. I really didn't look forward to getting another spear. I killed one of those tribesman out of frustration, but shortly learned that their spears had kp poison...ouch. #-o I finally finished that quest like a month ago for Karmaja 3 gloves.. :lol:

The Honor vs. Efficiency cannon argument once again. My opinion on the subject: If it's an empty world, problem solved. Otherwise, if this is the waterfall, you can always go to the other room, or failing that, hop worlds. Weather it's fair or not is irrelevant, and a matter of opinion. If you don't think it fair, you can hop. If you do, you can stay.

I'm not sure what new arguments I can bring to the table, after 4 pages worth of discussion, but I'll give it my best. Do I sense bitterness, or is it my imagination? The author just appears to have a slightly aggressive tone in my opinion. In any case, I find it rather unfair to compare these two classes of Customer Service. Blizzard, having a higher membership fee, has eliminated the majority of their younger players. Older players with more experience are less likely to be losing their gold and items. With such a case, it becomes easier to offer customer service to a smaller crowd. However, I agree that there are perhaps other possibilities, such as allowing customer service to P2P only for example. The average player has claimed that he/she is +19. Besides, with over 4 million accounts in total, there are many accounts below that level. That's a little unfair. The author cannot be sure that there will be no way to redeem a broken/lost item. Perhaps a piece of paper comes with it with a code to redeem? I wouldn't know, but then, the author does not either. That's the point. On that note, what's top stop a bully from beating up a child for just the password? The other article I felt summed it up perfectly in its last paragraph. The economy will come back to some form of equilibrium in time. And of course, the story was great. I enjoyed it. I seem to have made quite the wall of text. I appreciate it if you made it all the way. ;)

As pointed out, the add was targeted at new players, not the old hands. Newer players wouldn't know that Kree is not meleeable. If you want, I'm sure you could send your resumé to public relations of Jagex if these things bother you that much. ;) That said, I agree, the boss rooms could make some great artwork. 8-)

We're still a long way to Skynet takeover methinks. Besides, while some complex bot scripts are easy to get a hold of, the best ones won't be. If you wrote an amazing script, would you just happily give it to anyone who asked? Odds are you'd be A) trying to sell it, or B) be keeping it for yourself so Jagex can't get a hold of it and see how it works.

...There's health impacts when firing weapons? shocker. ;) On the other hand, I doubt everyone's going to be thinking clearly when a nuclear missile is fired. Especially if we need EVERY country that has nuclear weapons to stand down. On that note, do we know exactly how many countries have nuclear weapons? Or am I just making up countries with said weapons? Any truly offensive action (such as, say, launching a nuclear warhead) would result in at least twice as many as you sent headed back at you. Everybody knows this, and it's the reason we're all still here after the Cold War. Right now, the countries clearly don't trust each other to disarm, so we'll hopefully be still sitting in an impassé for a while. A few days ago, iTunes had trouble contacting the apple store. For a while, I simply suspected the site was down. Then I noticed the rs client wasn't able to contact the internet either. Nor was a news page on another program. I figured that this was probably just some sort of firewall/anti-spyware issue, but I've gone through the windows firewall and all of my antivirus programs with no luck. Now i'm starting to worry that some sort of virus is blocking the internet for select programs. A few still work (i.e. firefox, online games in the games folder, etc.) but I fear for the safety of my computer. Spyhunter 3 (I had to buy a month subscription when fighting malware issues about a week back :-# ) and AVG Free have found nothing out of the ordinary. Does anyone possibly know what's blocking these select programs? Thanks in advance.

Presuming I understood that, Tractor technology wasn't recorded until the 19th century. Jagex will always try their best to keep the content accurate to the time setting. In any case, how would that be different than now? You'd probably watch a little cutscene of your character going around plowing a field. If you didn't and had to plow the field entirely by hand, I'd want a heck of a lot of xp for that. More than I'm willing to bet Jagex would be willing to give. Don't get me wrong, There's always new additions to skills that can take them to new directions, and I would always love to see new content to existing skills. However, I think there's more possibility than trying to make up a riding addition to farming.

Presuming the link between Zaros and the Revs is correct, Zamorak would not be involved. Zamorak fears Zaros as indicated by the God Letters, and would not have a willing hand in bringing him back. However, I find it entirely possible that Zaros had a hand in Stealing Creation. Also, Yes Den, I believe the Ancient magics are Zaros. Azzandra was Zaros' follower if I remember correctly, before being stripped of his powers, putting the powers in the 4 Deasurt Treasure Diamonds, and imprisoning him in the pyramid.

Granted, it takes a lot of money to get to 99 prayer, but nor should 99 prayer mean you automatically gain an insane upper-hand in a fight. Maybe a quarter would be good. Like a Spirit shield.

A few days ago I was working when I got an evil blue screen, saying that it had stopped to protect my computer. However, now when I try to standby/Hibernate my Windows XP computer, it get stuck on the screen that matches the Log-on Screen, and will stay like that until I forcekill the power. Restarting and shutting down works fine however. Does anyone have a clue what I did and how to potentially reverse it? Thanks in advance

I'm lefty. I think I'm better than your average adult when it comes to computers, but then most people simply dont even try to learn. Either way, there's still any number of people better than me. I definitely cant do anything handy with the hardware end of a computer, but I do know a bit around the software side. I took 2 terms of java as an Honors class in high school, and before that I used to fiddle around with a small basic scripting language called Torquescript. That said, I for the most part lack a formal education with most computer equipment. My redeeming trait is that I am willing to devote lots of time for something i'm interested in, so I can do what I want thanks to sheer persistence.

For those who use the official rs client off the main site, that is a extension of IE as I recall. While the majority of players use unofficial clients, there still are some (myself included) who use the official one.

When creating such items, Jagex would have to be careful not to make them too overpowered however. I would hate to get obliterated by a 99 attack weapon when i just have 90 defence. Maybe equipment that becomes better as your levels get higher? EDIT: Dang it, I just noticed the part where he said for pvm only. My mistake.
