  1. I'm still not entirely sure if it brought RWIT back. The "You have defeated ___" chat indicates that it's somehow seeing who killed whom. It would be a simple matter to have it record whom killed whom from there. When a player's killed another player enough times to get a drop, I think it would be easy to see no? ;) We have no clue what sort of defenses Jagex put up against this sort of RWIT, but seeing how far they went to try and get rid of it beforehand, I imagine they wouldn't allow it back in so flippantly.
  2. It's probably not the new training meathod. All i know is you're going to be really mad if that happens to you while you have a gs. :wall:
  3. Hypotethetically, could you use/not use summoning to change your combat and broaden your target radius in the pvp worlds? Just wondering if anyone tried that.
  4. I don't use range/mage in 95% of my combat either. Shouldn't that be halfway in my combat level too? :?
  5. Honestly, I'd just be playing another on-line game that's just not as good. \
  6. I dont get these often enough to make it self-sufficient, but i salvage some money on super restores from General Garrdor. He drops 3 noted snaps a few times in a trip, and the occasional seed. Depends on your team's ls though. :?
  7. Glitches ftl. Still not entirely sure what I did, but... :?
  8. You ever laugh when you were drinking something and it went out your nose? Imagine that with pretzels. It hurt really bad for like 10 minutes and it scares the heck out of me now. :?
  9. I was never around during the days of RSC, i joined in the year of the yo-yo. 8-) I still miss the days when dragon made you a legend. But then, combat was much simpler then. I didn't have to choose between bandos, barrows, or whatever when going off to fight. :P
  10. Few months ago, but I never got around to posting it 99 def! \ Someone else had to make the vid for me because my computer crashed and like half the video got corrupted. #-o And, naturally, since it was my first party, there were a few *ahem* mishaps.. :? Anyway, hope this works
  11. Meh, I've always failed at the agility games, I got 66. :/ I got my ringmaster hat (only piece of clothing I liked) at range. 82 range + void + range pot Missed a 99 target like, once. Cant say for sure if pots/void helped, but I think they did. ...I love ringmaster hat
  12. yea..no. I've played games that had a "cash for gold" service in the ast, and I can tell you, it really gets old when you dont want to spend money for a game. In my opinion, you should earn your items by how much you are willing to work for them. Not how much cash you'll pay for them.
  13. Dont forget to factor a target's defence in that equation. Levels can evidentially vary in npcs, as evidenced by things such as Rock Crabs. Is there any weak points we may have missed? (i.e. crush attacks, magic etc.) Few people bring black warhammers after all. :D
  14. Nearly level 120, haven't gotten one either. *Writes to jagex claiming his ring of wealth is defective and asking them to ship a replacement*
  15. Well, that depends if the slayer monster requires healing like that of a bunyip. ;) In any case, I always pick up my shards to keep my options open. If I leave them on the ground, there are none. :
  16. Personally, I think the pking worlds could be good for other things if one is careful. You likely wont find many people at experiments or yew trees in that scenario. \ I rarely ever pked myself, (99% of the time i tried, i died), but I imagine that this could be an excellent update if Jagex puts it together correctly.
  17. Just a gamer: p2p Woo, I just barely slipped in the total lvl requirement. ^_^
  18. I had my first million about 2 years ago. Back in the days when whips were 2.6 million, and they were THE melee weapon. I worked for a week straight at the chaos druids, selling above ranarr for 2k, below for 1k, and the p-pots for 7k. After about 8 days or so, I finally started searching for a seller.
  19. It really depends on what I'm doing. I learned back when i was getting my first 99 (defense) that some things are better left uncalculated. (killing 21k-odd skeletons ftl. :P ) For the most part, I'll be relaxed, but occasionally when doing said relaxed thing, I'll open up a new browser window and so some calculations.
  20. So you record a screenshot. Whoopty-freaking-doo. Personally, I could see clans running a ship, which is fighting another clan-ship. Perhaps thats even possible, what with the possible "hints" that Jagex "may" have been dropping lately, but an enitre skill...? ...no.
  21. My humble opinion: All the capes (or 99s, if you prefer), regardless of speed or cost, should be respected. They're called capes of acchievment for a reason. :P That said, there are still a few that are more notable due to the length of time/cost of getting said 99. Setting goals is one thing. If you're going for a cape for a combat stat, even just partly for a 99, i support you wholehartedly. If you're going for a 99 in something like con, which eats up money, just to get a cape, then that's not so cool.
  22. The sailing pict on the highscores that started all of this was a fake. Qwertysumo faked the pic (the original vid from Fang Gallo had "special thanks" to him.) by his own statment. After that, no more fake evidence was neccesarry...everyone's imaginations did it for them. Besides that, Jagex declared the sailing faked in on the forums in the recent updates...(forget the thread, sorry. >.<)
  23. I once nearly got nailed by a "walk in wildy and i kill you" scam. Luckily for me, i was purchasing my whip. being poor at the time, i had sold all my armour to get said whip. All I was wearing was a sara cape. As i trade, guy appears out of nowhere and ice barrages me. Lucky for me, he misses and I make it back safely to the border. To this day I believe that sara cape saved my life.
