I hope you like it. I personally feel like the only person in the world who doesn't love the books :/ I read A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, and got halfway through A Storm of Swords before giving up. I LOVE the overall story of a kingdom at war, people wanting the throne, dragons, etc., but I felt like the whole story moved way too slowly for me and there were too many characters I didn't care about whose chapters I had to read. :( Then when I'd finally get to a character I love, I'd feel like nothing happened in their chapter. I hope you like it more than I do. It helped me that I read the Inheritance cycle of books before going into this series. Inheritance cycle has writing not comparable to this and uses the same format. Personally though my favorite part was trying to work with the chapters and see how Arya's was going to affect Sansa or some such.

Fixed. I wouldn't say it is necessarily the superior platform for sports games, hence the specification. Eh, when I can get an Xbox controller that plugs into my PC, it really doesn't matter either way.

Meh, I prefer low maitnence sports or anything you can pick up on the fly. Baseball, soccer, road hockey, football, basketball, etc... Anything where I can decide to play and just play with some friends, or join a league and play it (more gear and stuff but usually given most when you sign up).

Anytime that I'm decently far on a level and almost done and then some little (bleep) pops out of nowhere and gets in lucky shots that kill me right before I blow their head off.

Realized that I have a ton of games which I haven't beat the campaign of, so starting from the top of the list I am doing some quick little playthrough's.

Why I don't understand people who play hockey. They love it, wouldn't do anything else given the choice. But I just couldn't justify the money spent... My friends don't pay (yet) but they are getting new gear all the time, 200 dollar sticks once a year, plus hockey around here is (last I heard) about $500 a season while you have to buy all your own gear and stuff.

[spoiler=It's book 3 and 5] Coldhands? He was a wight dressed in Night's Watch gear, not an Other. That scene is probably based on his first (Or second) chapter in 3, where he he encounters and kills it. I just assumed Wights were Others because they described them to be similar/the same but that he could talk. If this isn't the case then I should re-read the books with that in mind XD Wights are the nice undead things being controlled by the Others.

TT, I'd say go for Greaves right now then see if you can get a helmet later on. EDIT: I say this because Foot armour would be low on my list of things to get, ecspecially if I didn't have something on my legs to go with them.

I have played both and personally I find they are pretty much the same to be playing on. Few things I can mention either way is that the xbox's online seems a little more intense, the PS3 everybody quickscopes in COD, Xbox controller I prefer more but the PS3 controller is fine, takes a little getting used to. Personally for me the decision to buy an xbox came from the fact that my friends had xbox's and I wanted to play online with them. If money or cost isn't an issue and your willing to spend atleast 300 dollars to buy a PS3 and all the games you already have for xbox go with the one your going to be enjoying and spending the most time on.

Anyone here read any of the Fablehaven series? Along that anyone read much Cussler? Also since it is the currently reading thread I'll mention that I'm currently reading Crescent Dawn by Clive Cussler.

Absolutely! I hate when they can't even tell me what web browser they are using... Just things like that irk me, but I almost prefer them because it can be a challenge to have no idea what is wrong except for "this won't do this to this when it used to do this" and I have to look.
