Random events pop out at anytime to stop you and prevent botting. Penguins are just an optional way to waste time, not a suitable replacement. Jagex did say they will tweak the random events, but this is not it.

Runescape pixles are a waste of time, from the start, you all know this. The pixels never had any value to begin with. This is a game, an entertainement, and here we have people talking about Runescape like it's a second job and comparing clicking in front of a computer to a masterpiece or a solider putting in life in danger at war. Lol, ridiculous, get a grasp on reality already. "Hey guys, did you know I just got 99 RC, hahah I'm so proud of myself, GO ME! How dare you say my 99 RC is worthless, I wasted HOURS of my life getting it, it's automatically valuable, DUH!". No, it means you waste hours and hours on an online game, period, it has no value. Want value? Go to school and get a job, period. That's called growing up. Can't make it more simple than that. Either you acknowledge this game is just a passtime, a waste of time that you do for fun, or either you think this game somehow is more than just an online game and that the virtual items and skills you get have "value". With option 2, you obviously have a problem.

It's basically the same, except you're pissed because a bunch of idiots decided to get the same 99 as you and for the wrong reasons.

Before the skillcapes, there wasn't many people with 99s. After skillcapes, OMG MUST GET 99! :P In an ideal Runescape, people would only get 99 because they like the skill. But srsly, who would do the same thing over and over again for weeks and enjoy doing that? Not many. Most people do it for the cape only. I guess that now if you want to do something special, you have to do something else than getting 99 in a skill.

I think pvp worlds are going to be a lot of fun. Maybe even worth re-suscribing. Armor and weapon wise, people will start using the short-term equipement Jagex talked about. Other than that, highest p2p/f2p food will raise, along with potions, rune arrows/bolts, ermm and all those things used in pvp. People will be able to make profit off of pvp. Special "pvp" builds will reappear... It doesn't affect normal Runescape much, apart from the "usables" that skillers make.

Umm usually people who aren't going to do a bunch of stupid and annoying stuff just to try and present themselves as superior, boost their ego, etc. I like genuine people, who just are who they are.. Example of what NOT to do: Like for instance, these "friends" who are like "I have like 20m more than you" when you say how much money you got... umm congratulations? Or "I used to be guild leader of wawawa and I met friends of "... not interested... Or if you say wow getting this 99 is grindy, and they're like "yeah! but I'm good at that I grinded all the way up to 99 RC"... or yet again people who keep saying lol at inappropriate moments = I particularly hate those ones. Like you say "Damn it me 2 hours to finish this quest up"..."lol"... and they say nothing else, wtf. Basically ppl who take every possible occasion to be a jerk, and try to look better than you. Those are out. And it sucks because most people are that way, I guess its a teenager boy thing. But sometimes once in a while, someone that isn't a jerk comes up, but that's once in a blue moon(whatever long that may be). I think I've had maybe maximum 5 people in Rs I'd say were good friends. They're all gone so it kinda sucks now.

whip can hit twice before a gs hits you. Me thinks that a whip can hit about 40? last time i checked 2X 40 = 80 ( which beats 77) and it also looks much kwler :3 In PVP, it's always about the KO factor. It isn't like with monsters where your looking at damange over time. In PVP, you hav e to kill quick. Basically, KO the opponent before he can eat. Whip isn't a KO weapon, you can easily eat between hits, even if by chance they happen to be 40s. A sudden high hit however, can easily kill if you're just a little under max HP or in the proccess of eating. Which is the point of AGS, pure KO.

Got one as a gift a while ago. I also own one of the new cowons. And you wanna know what? There's no comparing. Cowons sound is nice and smooth, you hear everything. My earphones are actually very good. And Ipods still suck. God forbid you use internet and read up the hundreds of websites all pointing out that ipods sucks, and that you're and idiot for buying one. :lol: Bye.

Ipods have poor sound quality, which defeats the purpose. They suck, period. The ipod classics sound suck, all the other spinoffs suck even more, and the touch is the one that sucks the most. "OHGAWD LOOK I CAN DO THIS AND THAT AND THIS HAHAHAH" yeah? Thought to check the sound quality, sucker? Ipods used to be the best, but now all the other companies surpassed it, better screens, better battery life, better sound quality, and better price. Ipods are for idiots, end of dicussion.

The pixels are hard work. Endless hours of wasteful clicking. That doesn't make the pixels any valuable, just means an idiot was ready to waste a lot of time into something pointless. That in itself is fine, everyone has passtimes. There's a huge gap between "I do this just for fun, I know it's stupid and pointless. I have X levels, I'm happy, and it ends there." and "My pixels are valuable, precious, and make my proud(proud to have clicked?). I demand that people respect my pixels wherever I go. When someone talks about my pixels I get all serious because they are important in my life." So bottomline, no, they have no value. You can be happy about what you've got, but you have to remember this is just a game and jagex owns all of your character. To go as far as to say that those pixels have "value" is a sign the game is no longer just a game [to you].

In some peoples lives, the game takes a lot of space. Some other people are so bored they just spend their time whining fault of something else to do. Games should be played with a play n dump mentality. Eventually, all games become boring or crappy. Thats when you have to dump them and start anew somewhere else. If you get too attached and cant dump them, you whine whine and whine lol Or worse the game makes you miserable but youre addicted. Lol MUST GET TINY CAPE PIXELS! Lol, that's weird Well I wouldn't find offensive if someone burned down the flag of countries I don't like/neutral/no opinion. If someone burned down my flag (Canada), I wouldn't really care. But I'd get a little upset if someone burned down the flag of a country I like, especially if it makes no sense. For instance, I can understand why people would want to burn the american flag, because the USA is not innocent. The USA is not "bad", but it definitively has some blood on its hands: Iraq/Afquan wars, and economic vampirism of other countries comes to mind. But if for instance someone burned down the flag of an innocent country that did nothing wrong, I just wouldn't get it, hating for no reason is just ... pointless.
