I've done a bit of computer programing and there are certain functions but they are based on things that arn't random. For instance if the program was called to decide what drop to give the program might look at the milliseconds of a computers clock. (milliseconds like in time). If the milliseconds were from 1-10 then it might drop a cetrain item and then 11-20 and so on. The computer can generate a number random enough that a human alone couldn't get it. Now to have this sort of beginner luck system Jagex would have to put more programing into the random function (like the one I just described). Tbh they do have the agressiveness of monsters timers so it wouldn't be too difficult to make this, and it would give the game more depth. It is quite probable this could be true

lol i love to be british in these situations. Btw im pretty sure if you were in a war with someone for a year, with the english, america would have bommed some germans somewhere, at some point. It's called an air strike ..... And there is a small chance that america would station planes in france and england ?

I know what you mean, I hate people who like that.
-
I know and you think with the recent deletion of bots that they could cut down on them. Also with F2P I dont have enough bank space for random clothing so every time I get one I always end up with a camo top or somethin. Also them magic cubes or w/e u get from the old man I always get about 20gp from them.... I live some of the kill able one tho (only if i have some food and/or prayer handy)

I used to do cannonballs when I was a member, worked very well. and i've heard of alching steel bodies. Not sure about knifes. Cannonballs are 195ea and you get 4 from a bar I think. Steel knifes are 60ea but I dont know how much the sell or how many you get per bar

No the skill cape is sort of a runescape symbol of recognition for a certain skill; being able to change it defeats the point in my opinon.

I think you might be looking for more a utility belt type thing. -
Tbh if this came into runescape it should be put together with runecrafting rather than mage. And it might be alright if you could only do 1 for about 5-10 prayer points
-
Ah ok, I see what your saying. Good point. Maybe a fail safe would be that (with potions at least) that you could trade them but not drink them until you get to a certain level (the same level that would take to make them would be a bit pointless. For instance, you can make a summon restore pot (or whatever) at level 85 and you could only drink it at level 70.

Chalksmith replied to LiChef's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Call me a noob if you really want but im one who has never needed to know what LOC of HYT stands for. I now see that LOC stands for league of chefs but as for HYT (Hide your thieves ??)(Hate your toes ???). This would be a nice little feature. I support it. Maybe it would be better to have a small pop up box like your do in the skills tab when you mouse over them? I support ^^! -
Well the more people that do it it sorta become balenced and makes jagex feel they havn't wasted there time on quite a difficult to level skill that doesn't have that many benifits in some peoples eyes
-
erm sorry sirgudi I didn't get a word of that. Hellm6, it' a great idea but I think runescape is catching WOW syndrome. I used to play world of warcraft and I see runescape going the same way in a scence. The grand exchange is really he same as thier auction house. They also have mounts and tbh I think runescape doesn't really need them. Runescape has many unique ways of travelling around. Fairy rings, gliders, rings, amulets and many more.
-
very very nice ideas but, for me, a bit too much "untradeable". The second something is untradeable you can't make any money off it. Like you were saying with smithing, top smithers used to be really rich. If you only give them stuff that is untradeable then there not gonna get much richer
-
I think they are gonna put it like 40 to make more people do the skill :S. Probs have a rune ess mine teleporter, not sure about a bank, some way of getting tallys possibly or maybe a special type of alter. Deffinetly memberser ( :( ). Not sure where they will put it though. Possible near yanville (magic guild)
-
where's the nearest back to the crafting guild? Falador? even with teleports it's a bit of a walk back to the guild isn't it ?. F2P aswell so no house in rimmington
-
yew logs average between 395 to 405 gp per. but you need a fletching level of 75 to make yew longbows. and none of the rune items are below there alching value, people wouldnt sell them if they could just alc for more money. u can break even (or just under) with maple logs n it doesn't take long to get fletching up

Almost Got Scammed? Want To Tell Your Story? Post It Here!
Chalksmith replied to The_Sith's topic in General Discussion
May I comment? Other than thinking it was a stupid idea to play along with that DAMN RISKY scam, for this part - what's blocking you from becoming a member, for a short while anyway? You could spend $6 for this month, sell your members stuff and for one months' membership you get to keep your account and gold from the stuff to boot. tbh i dont want to spend more money to jagex when I dont want to. Its just quite anoying really. Id probably be a member later on if i could lv up its F2P stuff -
Thx good advice i think ill go with that BTW it would take 2257 big bones to get to lv 43, big bones currently cost 400 ea so around 900k. Think if i got my mage to 55, made all the steel bars I would get into steel plates and high alched them I could get enough money for it. N I still need a way to get to 40 crafting

I have a good enough comp to deal with pop ups and I think that im getting what must be quite a hard 2 run game for free so i can deal with quite alot of pop ups
