I've been operating under the assumption that skilling for money is dead for years.

Of course not, and I don't think extra members slots are needed either. However many people seem to hate it just because, with no explanation other than "I don't think it's the way you're supposed to play" given.

If people weren't meant to take advantage of free trade we would get cash drops from monsters and buy everything else from stores. The whole point of having a player economy is that you're free to make (and lose) money by trading, and that's one thing that makes Runescape stand out for me.

Switching to melee for Karil is exactly what I'm talking about. I do barrows in void, and from just switching the weapons and helmets I can kill all 7 brothers with relative ease.

did you try using ranged Bind ability on him? Ranging/Maging him would benefit from the bind greatly, as he only attacks at melee range Yes but that's the problem. I need to hybrid to kill him, in a system that heavily discourages hybriding. Frankly, I ignore him, because he's a pain, I only need to kill 6 barrow brothers and I only really want Ahrims stuff anyways. And as other people have said, he also hits WAY harder then the other brothers. Could I kill him if I tried? Yes. Will I try? Probably not. And I can [bleep] up every other barrow brother with magic easily enough. Should I switch from magic to melee for karil? Yes. Will I? Probably not. Click > shift > # will switch your weapon and action bar which is really all you need to kill him. I don't have many problems with him other than him hitting like a train.

Magic and Melee binds only do so for 3 seconds.

Does the slayer helm still give it's 7/6 boost?

If you're going for the pistol crossbow and wand/book with money making taking a back seat then yes, loot the chest after killing just those two. Rune drops would be low because each brother only gives you a fraction of the total runes you receive at the end of a run (getting 250 death runes could mean that 5 brothers "dropped" 50 death runes for example). Killing 2 brothers is merely 2 chances at getting runes, and you need above 7/11* to even get deaths/bloods respectively. *numbers may be off

Each brother killed will put an item in the chest, either runes, bolt racks, half keys, dragon medium helms or a barrows item. So killing say 3 of 6 brothers will give you exactly half the chance at a barrows item than if you had killed all 6, you don't get any "bonus" for killing all of them.

Sagaies are 1072 damage and 720 accuracy. They're slower though ;) Here's a little trick for glacors: if you decide to use a shield, don't use rejuvenate to heal - it's much better to use resonance to absorb their special attacks. As far as I know all weapons have the same speed when using abilities.

My experience using Steel Titans is that any noob with a dragon weapon can take them down in a few hits. Extremely disappointing considering they're so good now.

Yes, they purposefully butchered their servers to screw over the people who pay for their food, houses, cars, children's education among many other things. I know this is a runescape forum but god, this is a bit ridiculous.

It pains me greatly that I can only like this once.
