Because it's a total of 3 WEEKS without an update. Including one when most people are already over their hangovers. Yeah I forgot that there was nothing except new content left to do on Runescape.

That's wrong. I actually remember a Jmod mentioning in a Dev Blog how update days are frantic and they have to coordinate loads of simultaneous releases ect... Would YOU want to be dragged into work over Christmas? Nobody wants to work at Christmas and generally most businesses close or let their staff have time off. I don't see why people think Jagex should be an exception. Rach, it was sarcasm.... Yeah lol i have been on rsof too much It shows. Basically this. It was discussed before but decided against being stickied. There are already six stickies in General Discussion and adding another one would just create more clutter at the top of the page and push other topics down further. On another note I wonder what their first tweet of the new year will be. Happy New Year wishes maybe? Maybe an apology for the two weeks without a single update? Anybody who has ever seen the Evony ads know what I mean when I say Jagex are actually not as bad as most advertisers when it comes to their game. They might distort the truth a little with the '130+ quests' sort of thing, but since when did you people start listening to advertisements on the internet? Because if people listened to exactly what the ads told them we'd all be ripped in 3 weeks, have shiny cleaned teeth and be playing Evony which from what I can tell from the advertisements is a game based around half naked females :unsure: This is one of the most dead of all dead horse topics, F2P IS a fully fledged game of it's own accord and P2P is an expansion. This is a fact and has been stated by many Jagex Mods and has evidence. The idea that P2P is the real game is just based around the idea that... 'well it's bigger...'. It's just an expansion to the original F2P game.

you're kidding right? Fumoffu is the best of the 3 easily. Probably my favourite comedy anime. I might consider it, but I'm not hugely into comedy.

So not EVERYONE in the world, but EVERYONE you deal with on a daily basis, and near you, is that type of person ? What can I say... That I live in a rubbish area where most people are chavs or just people (by that I mean teenagers) that I've been going to school with since I was 5 and who've never liked me? It's a small town. It's been a while since I unintentionally got everyone all het up over something I've said :P Anyway it kind of shows the point that if someone DID say 'Oh I don't like attractive/unattractive people and I avoid them' they get people going on at them so thats why nearly all the posts here are like 'Oh I don't avoid them.' Maybe they don't like you has something to do with the fact that you don't like them? No. I don't like them because they don't like me. I'm just a quiet, private person and if that makes me a bad person then I don't give a [bleep].

I lol'd. I'm a pretty shy person, but I'll talk/respond to people. However, if someone has extremely poor personal hygiene, I'll find myself not talking to them as well, it just makes them seem unappealing as a person. I won't judge people based on looks or popularity (Racheya), but I do judge on their personal hygiene, however, when I say extremely poor, I mean the "unbearable to the point it makes you nearly physically ill to be near them" poor. Though, I noriced something about the so called "popular" kids, all of them aren't extremely attractive, hell, they can look pretty average, but they tend to be able to make people laugh more. Racheya, your problem with these people is you're judging them on looks alone, and won't talk to them. Hell, I wasn't the best looking guy in High School, yet people would talk to me, I just failed to respond that well/often, plus the way I appeared made me seem unapproachable. Maybe you have a similar problem, that and they have to "prove" themself before you judge them "worthy" (you're a real stuck up [bleep] in that respect) will mean that people will see you as the unapproachable loner type who hates practically everyone. Please don't lecture me on giving these people a chance when I've spent my entire school life being bullied. You don't know how many times I've had to deal with them pretending to be nice to me just so they can do something 'amusing' and take the mick out of me. I'm not stupid enough to think EVERYONE is like that in the entire world, but everyone in my immediate region IS that sort of person. The attractive girls that sit at the back doing their hair for an hour going 'OH MY GOOOOOOD why are you such a weirdo?' Even worse are the lads that go 'HEY RACHAEL, WANNA GO OUT WITH MY MATE? C'MOOON HE FANCIES YOOOOU.' I'm not rude or nasty to any of them, in fact I like it when the odd person asks me a genuine question or says something to me. But I've had enough [cabbage] in my life already and I can't wait to be rid of them when I leave Sixth Form. I don't mean literally PROVE themselves but yeah, if I see a guy wearing popular clothes and hanging around with a bunch of people I'm going to assume that if I walk too close to them I'll get some sort of remark my way. Sorry about having a [cabbage] school life. <_<

Quite the opposite really. I'm not hesitant to approach 'unattractive' people because I generally regard myself as unattractive also. In fact I have more problems talking to attractive people. Attractive people have to prove to me that they're not a stuck up popular [wagon] before I deem them safe to talk to. I generally equate Attractiveness = Popularity and Popularity = Hatred of me. You're going to get a lot of people saying they don't when they really do just because they don't want to look bad.

Finished Full Metal Panic! Decent anime. I'm not into the whole Mecha gig but I liked the plot. I'm going to watch The Second Raid now, though I don't think I'll bother with Fummoffu (or however it's spelt :P). Kinda started watching Sayonara, Zetsubo-sensei since we watched it in Anime Club. Pretty funny, though I've only watched about 2 episodes so far. Also it's the finale of Umineko this week! I already know what's going to happen because I read up the Visual Novel. :rolleyes:

I watched this today. Pretty awesome. Good CGI and decent enough plot. I liked some of the characters too, Grace was one of my faves :thumbup: Not the best movie this year, but definitely worth watching.

It's a bit of a cheap shot to snipe when in the middle of the Christmas event, but oh well :twisted: #6 - SerpentEye #7 - Mdeoxys Sniped within about 5 seconds of each other :P

I can't say for sure, but common sense tells me that dragon hatchets are still better than rune at Ivy.

Can anyone else confirm this? Because it seems like a dirty move on Jagex's part, especially after they scrapped their plans to make skill capes re-weildable on F2P. This seriously ticks me off. Last year was my glory ammy, I could accept that. But 2 years in a row, and this being such a key item removed.... Not to be [bleep] but both could just get members for the event then put back on your members stuff and then go back to f2p and think your cool rocking the members items again in f2p. And dont cry me a river about not being able to afford a RS membership there are always ways of making money. Even if you collect cans for a few days or you beg for handouts at a gas station for a couple of hours you will be able to come up with the 6.50 or whatever it is for a month of Runscape membership. By stating 'Not to be [bleep]', you have already proved that you are, but I will spare you from that. Before making assumptions, you need to assess all the factors, not just the ones you deem most important. I am not willing to spend £5 to complete one event. If I intended to play properly again, then I would certainly pay the £5 and be done with it. Instead of assuming that you know everything and trying to take the 'high horse', why don't you ask why instead of spouting preconceived rubbish. Thanks. I get what he means though. I don't see why Jagex should bend over backwards for ex-members wanting to make themselves look better than anyone else on F2P. It's just pretentious showing off imo. I disagree with the 'everyone can afford RS membership' thing, but he's right that if you want to wear members items you need to be a member.

While your intention might be good, this isn't the correct place for posting this and there are better tools such as Firefox add-ins that do the same thing and engender a bit more confidence in them.
