Just because I've seen snow before doesn't mean it stops being fun
  2. Yes but Simon Cowell doesn't own Sony. It's him we're trying to slap, not Sony. Simon Cowell's record label and RATM's label are entirely different, they're just owned by the same people. Cowell doesn't get any money from what they sell.
  3. Awwwwwww yeah. *does the dance of victory* Time to go insult people on the comments of the Killing in the name of video on YouTube

A wat? O_O Spent a couple of hours in the snow. Made a 'lil snowman and had a load of snowball fights with my brother. You've gotta love snow <3:
  5. I won't be coming, I partied myself out last night with TET
  6. Hi, while I understand you might want a thread, we ask everyone to post their screencaps, images and videos in this thread so if you want to post it, post it there. I'm going to lock this. If you have any questions PM me.

UCAS is off. Now I just have to wait for my University offers and decide on which to take definitely and which to have for a backup just in case. I've also gotta work hard if I want to reach my predicted grade considering I want to get at least a C or B in ICT and I had a D last year. I read over my reference that my teachers wrote for me, and it was good but I couldn't help but be worried at how... inarticulate my teachers actually are  I felt like editing it like a Times article. It'd have been nice if my English teacher could have written it, I'm sure she would have done better. Also they said I used Microsoft Photoshop. Lol'd.
  8. *epic facepalm* Oh Joe. I feel sorry for him, deluded into thinking he's more deserving because he's been on TV for so many weeks. I really want this to win, but even if it doesn't, at least it's made this year's Christmas #1 at least a bit of a competition, and it's managed to solidify my utter hate of Simon Cowell and X Factor.
  9. Yes, this thread is better off in the bugs and suggestions forum, so I'm moving it there
  10. Right Click > Inspect Element, click on Properties on the right, then on the first HTMLImageElement Chrome gives alot more options for the inspect than firefox ever will. Just try to get used to it. I can't see anywhere where it says the size (as in kb/mb) of the image, which is what it seems to miss out.
  11. Sorry but you've not much chance. People who say 'you won't find me', will not be found because it sounds like you're begging. Just a tip. But yeah, sniping is hard these days because everyone changes their name :(

Spoken like a true Middle Class person. Without getting too much into this, It's nice to know that you'll blame ME for being born into a poor family. I forgot that it's possible to control who you're born to. <_< The Working Class not only don't have the money. They don't get the opportunities that the Middle Class have. I'm a bright person, but I'll never have the chance to go to the best schools because there's no way on earth I could afford them. That means I'll never achieve as much as I want to. I might not get a good job, might be forced to get loans then pay them off by selling my organs. Remind me, which part of this was my fault again? More on topic. I think it's better to encourage donation, than selling. Sure, it could help poor people get money, but I see huge ethical issues with having the sort of system where they're pressured into sacrificing their organs just for a bit of cash.
  13. Of course he wouldn't have heard it. Anyone on X factor is too [developmentally delayed]ed to listen to anything that isn't pop music, ballads or Miley Cyrus.
  14. There's a school topic just down the page on Off Topic, so you can post anything about your first semester here, since it's a very very similar topic :) Locked.
  15. Keep the conversation clean and flame-free guys, unless you want the topic to be locked. :shame:
  16. Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if they were either =/ You know how sneaky the music industry can get.
  17. *does the victory dance of having another poll chosen* Woop woop. :^_^: Anyways, I use it at least once a week, though not always every day. I find it useful for teleporting and I'm not letting my gilded altar that I saved up for go to waste. I've also had a TET afterparty around too :P
  18. Break it up guys. Since it's been a while since the notes system was added, and at the time a lot of people did look into the different easter egg messages you could get with it - I don't really see much relevance to it now. Also this thread is just gathering a lot of flaming and negativity. So... locked. If you have an issue with this being locked, please PM me and we can discuss it
  19. It's that sort of attitude, 'Hur hur, that guy's wearing a skirt: LOL UR GAY!' that is why legs cost more. If guys weren't wimps and scared of being called girls, then there'd be more skirt purchases.
  20. I save the images to check the filesize. That's definitely something they need to fix though <_<
  21. It's not been the best year that they've ever had, but the people who work at Jagex are only human. They make mistakes, they screw up and it's just a part of how things are. It could just be that with the pressure of the BTS off, they took things a little too lax and QA slipped up a bit. I'm sure they've expanded their Quality Assurance section since the start of this year. Jagex have recognised that bugs were a problem, and now they've mostly rectified that problem. There is the problem that quality is subjective. I'm trying to make a sort of quantifiable way of measuring quality through the number of serious bugs that updates bring, because there really IS no other way to measure the quality of an update because the most vocal of the community are always those who have a problem with something. Sorry, but that is all just opinion. I'd only say that RS HD out of all of those could be seen as a greatest update ever - in my opinion. But that's the problem. Quality is all opinion. To me, the removal of Randoms (especially Ents), ZMI Runecrafting and the GE are some of the greatest updates ever. Not everyone thinks the same, this goes for players and Jagex too. I'd say that people who are going for 99 Mining or Fishing won't see the Living Rock Caverns as 'minor'. You only see it as minor because you don't like the skills. Quality long term updates don't need to be content. Changing the logout timer from 1:30 to 5 mins is a huge improvement that helps in the long term, every day, for example. I'd say that the introduction of the first Grandmaster quest, While Guthix Sleeps, is a pretty big update. Just because you can't remember more bugs from the older days doesn't mean that there were less. It's a psychological fact that people remember the first things, and the last things but not those in the middle. It's called the primacy and recency effect. You'll remember bugs from RSC, bugs from this year, but not the ones in most of the rest of the RS2 between. Again, it's all just opinion. I dislike the font too, but does a change in font somehow show that the entire year's updates have been bad? Again, just because you don't use the prayers it doesn't mean other people won't see them as a Godsend (Geddit? Lol), many other people monster hunt or find these prayers very useful. The problem with the dragon bones issue is not just Jagex, but it's greedy players wanting a quick fix. If you went out and killed green dragons for bones and suddenly Jagex nerfed their drop rate - then yeah that's Jagex's fault. But because you - like lots of other people - don't want to do that and want to just have everything NOW, then you have to be able to accept that there will be a bigger price to pay. Of course the prices are getting a bit silly at the moment, but that wasn't Jagex's fault in the first place. I did an article on the Herblore update, it looked like just what the game needed, only I agree that it was poor to keep it out of minigames for so long when they should have been able to be used. I like the focus on high level content too, even though I'm nowhere near high leveled, I can appreciate that it's good for other players and tbh I have plenty of other content to be playing without needing updates for me every week. Well as the year of updates, yeah it has been focused on fairly minor things. That's the whole point of it, making the game better little by little. Do you know how much I use the buttons to drop everything I'm wearing/holding in my bank? How Ents used to be the bane of my existence? How I can't imagine how people used to have to sacrifice bones at their altar one by one without the 'Offer X'? Again, you just want things that are good for you. Not everyone feels that way, and not everyone wants a super high-level monster. Sometimes Jagex have to focus on things other than the supposedly 'most popular' things. As for Minigames, Stealing Creation and Soul Wars. Two epic minigames. There. Mobilising Armies is half decent. Jagex don't WANT YOU to be grinding, they want you to play it a bit at a time, playing a few games between skilling for example. I don't think it's completely amazing but I like it as an unconventional minigame that I'll play when the mood strikes me. So yes. The problem with so called 'quality' is that it's subjective. What might be rubbish to you is good for another person.
  22. Please use this thread guys: http://forum.tip.it/topic/253173-15-dec-2009-blood-runs-deep/ :)
  23. Then they would have to bring the wildy back, too... Actually they shouldn't react on every nonsense the players came up with. To the hint: I also think it's the x-mas event. Maybe they'll also release a "teaser" quest for F2P during the x-mas time as they did last year. I don't know... last year they were still geared towards going AMG LOOK P2P IS AWESUM U BUY NAO. Which they aren't now. They might though, it's hard to know.
  24. There has been a drop in quantity and a RISE in quality if you ask me. There has been a significant drop in the number of bugs in updates. Although for the first few months of 2009 there wasn't, now it's actually quite rare to find a major bug in their updates. Other sorts of quality like 'if you like it or not' is just opinion. And while the Chaos Elemental is quite unpredictable (as you should expect ;)), as are the Dev Blogs, you can rely on the Twitter hints to keep you in the know about what will be out this week. I wouldn't say that there is just no time line.
  25. This is great. The only reason I still have Firefox installed is because it has some add-ons that I really find useful, once they get ported over to Chrome I'll be buzzing like a bee :P
