UK Christmas #1 - Not X-Factor!
They will be covering The Climb by Miley Cyrus which is even more of a reason to hot have the X Factor winner as #1. Oh Jesus. If I needed anymore convincing then there you go. I remember that song from when I used to play Tony Hawks as a kid, lulz. As much as I think stuff like this really don't work, I might give it a shot.

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
I'm not the best of seeders but I'll try to seed torrents with few seeders when I can. I have a really poor upload bandwidth though too, which can be frustrating.

Manga/Anime Discussion
2 more episodes of Umineko left. I'm seriously dying in anticipation :ohnoes: I know a lot of people think it's a rubbish adaption of the Sound Novel but judging it basically as an anime and the plot, it's pretty REALLY awesome. Watched the first episode of Full Metal Panic! at anime club. Seemed pretty decent, it might be the next thing I watch. I started watching Black Cat again, but I can't get permanently into it. I think we're watching Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei next week.

"Feminism"
Don't forget: No ladies nights No "ladies first" policy No "don't hit girls" rule No more Women Entertainment Television Women should be expected to pay for their meal at dates Somehow I have the feeling that a lot of women really don't want to be treated like men. If you truly want equality, then you should want equality for both genders instead of just picking and choosing to get rid of the things that negatively effect women and keeping all the things that benefit them. This is exactly what makes feminism annoying. When people victimize themselves over absolutely nothing and point the finger angrily at men. You seem to be forgetting that there are plenty of pro-life women out there. Yes, I do think women should get the same pay for the same work, have the ability to vote, and so on, but making men into monsters is barely the way to do it. I also think it's ridiculous to fight the establishment just for the sake of fighting the establishment. There ought to be a good reason for doing so. Like I said, I understand wanting equal rights and all, but some of the arguments feminists use are just pulled out of their behinds.... I mean purses. Yeah, I went there. Better go get your picket signs, there's a bigot on the loose. This is one of the most disgusting posts I've read. Women aren't making men into monsters, because some men already are. Some men think it's their right to rape and abuse their wife, or force her into having children. Are you saying that it's wrong for women to want to bring this to a stop? This isn't JUST FOR THE SAKE of anything, it's for equality. Of course some of the radical feminists will try and make men to seem worse than they are, but you're basically saying that women are just making a big fuss over nothing and they should just STFU and do what men say. My dad goes to work. So does my mum. My mum works longer hours than my dad AND spends hours when she gets home tidying up and cleaning while he's lay on the couch. Women are often stuck with careers, housework and childcare these days, it's unfair. Sure the laws are better than they used to be, but a lot of the social issues still need to be tackled. I'm no good at this whole debating thing, but some of the posts on this thread are really getting on my nerves tbh <_<

Husband injects sleeping wife with AIDS Virus
If you're going to justify this with logic based on perspective, then you might as well say what Hitler did was fine because in his mind it was the logical thing to do. His 14 years in prison will make him realize that what he did was wrong; whether it was selfish or not doesn't matter. He probably killed his own wife, and that's the only part that matters. I don't think Wongtong said it was "fine", she just said that it's normal that people don't make logical decisions. Obviously, the way he made the decision doesn't justify the outcome, which I think the man realizes too. And yeah, I agree with Wongtong, it's probably not for the sex. Also, Godwin's law much? I was thinking of Godwin's law, only I've not used it for a while so I forgot what it was called >.<

Abortion what do you think of it?
I'm in no way christian, and I don't agree with abortion... admittedly, for very different reasons. And a ban upon abortion would NOT be what ruins a teenage girl's life. It is her own decision to have sex, or the crime of another person. If you can't handle the possibility of having children, then don't have sex. The whole idea of creating a fetus for your own pleasure, then destroying it just seems absurd. But I suppose that's out of the question for today's average feeble-minded teenager who allows particular hormonal urges to govern their entire life. Having sex when you're not ready for children is a mistake, in my opinion, and such great mistakes should have great consequences. The problem with that is the consequence is a living breathing person that is going to feel just as much pain as the mother will. How is that fair? The child doesn't deserve to be brought up by someone that can't look after them. It's not it's fault that it's mother had sex like that, but it's going to feel the consequences.

POLL: How much of an interest do you have in the RuneScape economy?
Woo another one of my polls :P I don't really care about the economy tbh. The only thing I notice is 'Oh Dragon Bones are stupidly expensive, that's prayer training out for a while.' Other than that, I only care about the price of Nature/Cosmic/Law runes and Yew logs. *shrugs*

Abortion what do you think of it?
I think it's quite a sad thing, abortion. It's not nice for anybody involved. But I'll tell you that it's more of a sad thing to let that child live and be born to a mother that didn't want it. Is it really fair to force a woman to keep a child she can't pay for, doesn't want and really just doesn't have the determination needed to raise well? I think it's the lesser of two evils. 'Killing' a foetus is bad, but you're effectively just bringing more poverty, sadness and decay into the world by letting the foetus grow up. Of course this argument only applies to working class families, when it comes to the middle class it's even more of a difficult discussion. If they can support the child, but want to abort it anyway, I think it becomes more of an issue.

[Results] Tip.It's Caption Contest!
2 posts? I sense some sort of conspiracy here. 2 players, no (2) post counts? I cant be the only one curious about it. There was no seekrit conspiracy going on, I can assure you :P There were a lot of good captions. I never bother entering things like this because I suck at it :P Caption contests are particularly difficult imo. I applaude those who entered and especially those who won ^_^

Manga/Anime Discussion
i was asking a question, and no need to be rude. The answer is no, it is not. This is your last warning for trolling in here, or I'm going to get all serious business on you. And don't say you were asking a genuine question, because I'm not buying it.

Greenpeace activists scale roof of Canadian Parliament Buildings
Yeah take a chill pill dude. We've had guys in tights climbing on Buckingham Palace before  (If I remember correctly - don't quote me) Protesters do this to protest, and as long as they aren't bombing the place, I don't see anything hugely wrong with what they're doing. In fact, that they were able to get up there shows a lack of security and might encourage tighter measures for the future, when the terrorists come along. They're just a bunch of ecomentalists, so unless they were vandalising the place or actual terrorists, I wouldn't get so worked up.

What Custom Rank Do You Want on Tip.It Forum Boards?
This is not a Custom Rank :twss: Or if I was being less silly: Emerald Witch. Or Lady Bernkastel. I'd have Racheya-Beatrice, but that would just clash with my username. Or just Umineko Fangirl would work :P

Playlists.
I've got a few playlists on my iPod: Anime: Has anime opening & ending songs. DDR: All my DDR/Dancing Stage songs. House: Songs that I started listening to because I heard them in a House episode - I used to listen to this playlist a lot more than I do now. Recently Added: About 15 or so of my most recently added songs. Requiem: A couple of songs that Requiem linked me to :P Spyro: The entire Spyro the Dragon (game) soundtrack. Umineko: Used to be in the Anime playlist but it's about 40 or so song strong now with Umineko no Naku Koro Ni Background Music & the OST in it. It's got some really, REALLY great upbeat songs for walking to like Mirage Coordinator, Dream End Discharger and Resurrected Player. There's some really nice piano pieces for when I want slower music too. On-the-go: I recently made an on the go playlist with all the slow/instrumental songs from the Umineko playlist so I could listen to them in bed :P I'm currently totally into Umineko BGM atm so I'm listening to that all the time.

Manga/Anime Discussion
If this is a joke or if you are here to troll us with your American Cartoons then either get out or post the name of an ACTUAL Japanese Anime. Alright ill be serious, Hikousiheoukiouhre is my favorite  Stop trolling or you'll get in trouble. Only 2 more episodes of Umineko no Naku Koro Ni left! Also, after Christmas (well, at the earliest the 31st Dec) I'm buying Ep 6 of the Umineko Visual Novel that the anime is based on. It's coming out at Comiket on the 30th and contains Ep 5 and 6. Ep 1-4 are all covered by the anime but 5-8 won't be animated until at the earliest 2011. The game is in Japanese but it's being translated by a group and Ep 5 is almost finished translating. I'll have to wait for a few months to get Ep 6 translated though. But still, I can't wait!!
