Well I guess you have to consider the time taken to gather the energy to make the porters in the first place, unless you can buy it. And as others have mentioned, you can super heat and drop gold bars without interrupting mining using the action bar. So that is more efficient in terms of total xp.

Hey team, been out of the game for some time. Just wondering how this new combat system effects how much exp one gains. For example, these new abilities increase the damage you can deal, so has the exp been modified accordingly? If that is the case, is it quite slow just to grind out exp on slayer? What I mean is, historically, I would just click, and wait for a creature to die. Obviously, to maximise xp gains, you have to pay a fair bit of attention? Hope this makes sense Cheers.

Some good points raised here. As an older player so only just realised that "oldscape" was available, I am considering making a new account. However n ow I am unsure how long the game will be around for. I would like to think as long as there are a small number of active players, they would be obliged to keep the service running. I wish I could take my one and only Runescape account back, not sure I would like being a noob again... Plus the hundreds of hours spent questing and grinding, not sure I have it in me!
