I bought bones from farming money 80-95, keeping 2-3m all times and spending cash on 840 bones at the time (one war tortoise). Then later I bought 99 much the same way but with a claw drop thrown in.

More dps! I said more dps! @Squab: Virtus wand was confirmed by that name afaik, so there's a big clue as to what drops it. Then again, a lot of these new magic/ranged items will apparently be craftable.

You forgot your magic level which is probably more important than defence level, and prayer level which is certainly more important. In general, soul split flash > protect prayer. But protect prayer > soul split non-flash. And protect prayer > food. If you're not in the chaos tunnels, soul split flash > bunyip > protect prayer + bunyip > food provided you can survive on a bunyip.

^Good spoiler lol, doesn't give too much away :P. Happens all the time in most fantasy series. The only exception is the kind that spans centuries and describes the history of a place rather than an individual/faction, but usually the world keeps existing no matter what so... I think making staves 2h makes more sense than making another kind of 2h weapon (greatstaff or something). Ultimately making one generic mechanic for 2h weapons in ranged/magic/melee is the easiest way to make the combat triangle work to at least some degree. It will be interesting to see where the wand comes from, but I think it'll just be Nex or maybe the Ceremonial Mages.

Use RuneTracker. It's more accurate and it isn't down. Runetrack is to the exact xp, whereas Runetracker is to the nearest million gained. Unfortunately the only way I could use Runetracker is by looking up each skill for every person. For 15 people and 25 skills minus the 200M's that's well over 300. I will just wait another day to see if it comes back, and otherwise just go from rs hiscores. If you hover with the mouse over a number it'll show the exact amount, so that's not that much work (not for each skill). Ex. Suomi gained 12.794.461 xp last week.

In principle, 40 or 45 attack (rune or gravite 2h), 1 defence, high ranged/strength. If you go very high with ranged/strength, prayer becomes worth it. But with the combat rebalance coming up, as Paul said, you have 2-3 months to work on it before it may become obsolete.

Fair point. Going by the classical elements: Air = warm & wet Water = cold & wet Earth = cold & dry Fire = warm & dry Logically, blood should equal air. Ice is dry (if it's not melting) so it's cold&dry/earth. Smoke is warm & dry so fire. That leaves cold&wet for shadow??? Any subdivision doesn't make sense :P.

Rapier wearing magic defence, if you can get ganodermic (85 def) it's a cakewalk but with ovl/turm you should be able to do it in void. Just max offence and bring 1ovl/renewal, 3-4 restores + a kyatt summoned with 50ish scrolls and the rest brews.

T8 ring doesn't make much of a difference but it makes a difference. 1100 adamant bars is nothing, SoE will save maybe 20 bars from that. Not that you shouldn't get it, but it's hardly crucial. Cleansing, same sort of reasoning. Personally I'd say get the ring upgrade first and dg more, but if you are going to do a lot of skilling soon get the appropriate scroll.

They are nice for God Wars and corping (ffa especially). At your levels, I'd use them for metal dragon slayer tasks etc.

Blood is also heavily associated with strength, lifeforce etc. and therefore earth, and shadow is basically a consequence of fire.
