  1. You could always get summoning as first 200m <3:.
  2. Defender > dfs, tokhaar > sw cape, zerker (i) > wealth. Don't bother with cls either. Claws > eee if you can survive with them, Korasi is good too. You seem to have too many sharks too, ss flashing is way better. Your cannon spot is suboptimal too. The better spot is the old south-west spot (idk where it is since they rotated the dungeon >.>). Ranged level doesn't help the cannon if you're meleeing. You need 91+ herblore for overloads. You don't need ranged defence on your equipment, melee defence is more important (but strength bonus trumps all). Finally, ranged is just as fast and requires no ss flashing, so it's probably better :).
  3. This is true. It's all like, look I can do Prince of Persia awesome moves. But, not in combat. Also, doing awesome moves doesn't actually do anything. :(. Grats anyway.
  4. Flasks are only a small part of the skill. On the way to 99 herblore, you make a ton of untradeable potions now as opposed to a ton of brews pre-update. For crafting/mining, you still spend most of your time making dragonhide bodies/mining gold, just slightly helped by flasks. It's not an overhaul, just a regular update. In the context of getting rich, for example, the mining/crafting levels for making flasks are totally not worth it compared to herblore levels for boss hunting. Also flasks aren't high level, you need to be about 25-35% of the way to 99 to make use of them.
  5. Protect item prayers, not protection from melee/mage/range Wait what, the update says " (protect prayers and curses cannot be used within the Crucible)"? Did they actually mess that up?
  6. > Make game less about random high hits, increase lifepoints > Don't allow protect prayers in pvp ??? How boring is that :(.
  7. Mobilising Armies (+4 strength while training melee... not worth it as such but if you're maxing anyway...). Temple Trekking is pretty good too, for all-round xp gains and the lumberjack set. Any xp boosting sets you want to have obviously, gold mining being the most obvious one. Make sure to get your tokhaar cape sooner rather than later as well. If you haven't had a champion scroll drop yet, train defence on something that drops scrolls and is multicombat (I suggest abberant spectres with fsh(charged), salve, cannon, iron titan - bring a second fsh(e) to recharge). You should look into bonfiring at arctic pines to spend less time doing firemaking/woodcutting separately. But it may be tedious. You don't want to use bones on a guild-covered altar, try gold leaf. It's easier to come by. Fletching, fletch broad arrows during Livid Farm. Makes both more bearable and it's efficient too :). Combine smithing and mining, superheating while mining congold w/ lava titan and urns, dropping the bars. If you want to relax more, bring jujus, but it's slower xp in smithing. Scentless are not required for max overall xp/hr afaik. Most of these skills don't really affect eachother other than the above. Normally 99 summoning would help pvm etc. but since you're going to be using an iron titan anyway.
  8. If you don't also have high attack/strength/prayer/summoning (e.g. turmoil/unicorn + Dharok's + good equipment) I wouldn't try tanking waterfiend ranged attacks. Waterfiends are very powerful for their level, so if you're lower level than them without turmoil/overload, don't bother.
  9. Clue scrolls are even worse than staking for the "oh last time it sucked but I'll just go try again maybe I'll be rich@@@" factor.
  10. If the robes you are referring to are battle robes, you'll need to play some FOG to charge them. You really don't want to use blood burst (and blood burst is not faster xp than ice burst, I assume you mean barrage?). Given that you're 85 herblore, brews probably aren't the optimal method for training. I'd take a good look at special recovers (slightly more expensive and 10% faster) and extreme attack potions (cheaper and about 25% faster, requiring 88 herblore) as well as other extremes. After all, extremes are worth at least as much as their super counterparts, and you need potions anyway. It's worth making a stash of them for future use. If you trained herblore before magic you could use extreme magics/overloads to cast ice barrage @ rock lobs which is I think is better than ice burst and blood barrage.
  11. I wouldn't be surprised if Jagex makes all weapons equal dps assuming no other equipment/very little other equipment. In that case you'd still be better off with a rapier simply because of the larger effect of strength/attack bonus boost on lower attack/strength bonuses.
  12. Afaik sawmilling is slightly cheaper than buying planks but takes more time. It doesn't matter terribly much either way, just don't chop logs yourself no matter what (teaks w/ juju is alright if you need woodcut xp I suppose).
  13. Because trading between accounts you own is in fact against the Rules of Runescape and therefore against the Tip.It Forum Rules ;).
  14. Eh, so long as you go just for fun there's no reason you shouldn't. It may not be profitable and you will be easy to crash, but that's alright. More important than the levels you listed are your prayer and summoning levels (and herblore). You can't use chivalry or piety, you can't use a war tortoise or bunyip (or even a bull ant) so your trips will be very short and you'll do very little damage. I would recommend for the next two weeks that you work on getting 70 prayer and finishing King's Ransom plus the Knight Training Grounds. If that's too much, just try getting a bit more money for better equipment. The best equipment is listed in the guide (mostly), just use whip + dragon defender + high attack/strength bonus, you don't need ranged or melee defence very much unless you're tanking. You don't have the ranged level to use black dragonhide however so that's useless - go with void if you have that, Verac's otherwise. If you don't have them yet, get barrows gloves ASAP. Welcome to the forums, also :).
  15. The fifth task will give you points and Burthorpe tasks don't give any points. If you reset a task at Burthorpe you need to get your series going again from zero.
  16. You have a high magic level, taking advantage of that isn't possible however because of your summoning/prayer/herblore levels mainly (put simply, you can't heal enough quickly enough without nuking your magic dps). I would recommend working on 70 prayer (piety), 80 attack (rapier), 85+ dungeoneering (frosts) and 68 summoning (tort/bunyip) and train melee on frosts with Bandos/rapier etc. In that order.
  17. Usually, yes. Don't use brews though, you'll lose money/dps and stuff. It would help a ton to have turmoil, so if you were interested in corp for the long term, that'd be the thing to get first.
  18. It's 64+46 vs. 64+37 (110 vs 101) which means sagittarian arrows are roughly 9% better dps than promethium. That's a lot. Get sagittarian arrows and poison them . (You wouldn't stay at 98 attack if you were able to get a primal 2h, would you?)
  19. This discussion is pointless as neither of you (Noxx and Powerfrog, that's you) are providing any proof besides your experience. Next time when you make a claim, please provide verifyable numbers when asked to back it up. When you falsify a claim, please provide verifyable numbers to back it up. In this case, calculate the breakoff percentage of kills that makes killing Graardor better gp/hr than frosts. But you do that over PM. Please get back to the main discussion - this bickering is not helping the topic creator.
  20. I don't really give a squat for the name, it could be named Gigantic Testes Bar of Actions and it wouldn't matter to me. I'm mainly talking about its functions :P It's quite obvious dear :P... Although I got a strange feeling the combat actions might be boiled down for the most part for 'efficiency'. Wait - inb4 a skillers bar comes out. Had to say it before everyone else. It's confirmed you can put alchemy spells on the action bar so I'm guessing remote farming or w/e is on there too. And yes, combat actions will be checked for effectiveness. Nobody's going to shield bash a mutated veld to stun them when they are praying melee, obviously.
  21. Idk what the gp/hr is for Bandos but hilts are cheap and armour isn't exactly high-value either. You need about 1 Bandos set (top/legs) per 8 hours to compete with frosts, and glacors are a little above that still (but unreliable as hell)?
  22. Eeks is the only useful one. For tds, arcane, for glacors, csb. Cks doesn't do much anywhere.
