Apparently royale crossbow w/ rigour and pernix (royal dhide works too) completely outclasses Jad (note: 99 ranged). See the screenshot thread for Latin's vid :P.

Wear high ranged attack/magic defence equipment and range him with ruby bolts, or wear ganodermic and melee him. Gano defends really well against all his attacks, including the lp-1 attack (soak). It will save you a lot of resources.

So you'd expect goliaths to give equal xp to a whip if the hypothetical +82 strength is correct, right? Your test suggests it's closer to rapier. Or maybe it's that the dag ends up at 0 def, I guess.

How's void range with that? Seems melee is still crazy unbalanced, also goliaths are OP :P. Does the multicombat special give extra xp too?

Some items have destroy-x options, which is nice. If it's serums, emptying with mousekeys is probably faster.

Not even for the slightly-higher-than-goliaths magic attack bonus? Don't forget 1 pair of spellcaster means 1 pair of goliaths not bought ;). And +2 attack is even less worth it than +2 attack & +1 strength from goliaths.

In ganodermic, with maxed offence, yes. But I don't recommend ss tanking anyway because you still take more damage than simply protect praying. Similarly I don't recommend ganodermic leggings just for the defence, as +1 mage attack is more valuable.

You get full slayer helmet + fury (+10 attack, +8 strength, +16.67% attack and strength level) versus nose peg + salve (e) (+3 strength, +20% attack and strength level). The difference is not big, but for mostly maxed equipment (8+8+8+4+4+2+12+101+6=153 strength) and levels (125*1.23 + 9 + 8 + 3): (153 + 64) * 173 / 64 = 586 which gets multiplied by 7/6, 684 max. (145 + 64) * 173 / 64 = 564 which gets multiplied by 1.2, 676 max. That's because the only undead you fight for slayer is the abberant spectre :P. If you could use a neit your max would be 687, just slightly worth it maybe (you'd have void then, too).

I think a big problem is the division of former colonies (which make up a large part of the third world) into countries along geographical lines rather than tribal lines, as well as the adaptation of a presidential system in countries with multiple tribes. But I have no solution for that. Looking at the recent division of Sudan and South Sudan, you see some of the problems that arise. Israel and Palestine are an extreme example of two tribes (peoples/countries, if you prefer) showing the difficulties of dividing land and power. And of course some tribes live in the same area, so you couldn't even give them both 'their' land. President Assad of Syria shows how tribalism combined with divide-and-conquer and a presidential system sucks.

Apparently the dps difference between ccbow & royal crossbow (w/ runite bolts) is ~40% when the drain is maxed (that's without void). That's probably worth it for Nex and such.

Don't use ganodermic for maging, the cost is too high for the benefit. Especially the leggings, they have less magic attack than Ahrim's even (sad no?). What's he doing bxp? I don't think it will really matter what he does. As no matter what he decides to train the same amount of time will be saved. And looking at what he has left, I don't think cash will really be a problem. It's possible he'd be best off doing a farm run, sleep, another farm run & grind Livid for a while. Farming is still quite a long way from 200m, about 60m xp @ 7m xp/month (that's last month, no effigies there afaik).

40% boost only applies if you're fighting one target in that hour, even Nex will die in 5 minutes or so (and blood phase sucks). I don't know how long it takes to max the blood effect but if it's 2 minutes & linear, the boost for 5 minute kills would work out to about 32%. Still a ton but yeah. On another note, which MMORPG besides RS has the best character customization system?

Holy, 40% dps boost to ranged, but only for high hp things? That's pretty cool, makes Nex that much easier yes? (except blood stage I guess).
