  1. Well, technically it's only better at a certain income, which is pretty high. Before that income, it depends how much money you need for buyables, glacors/tds might be better even (3m/hr and .75 effigies per hour or -2m/hr and 1 effigy per hour, 5m to save 20 minutes = 15m/hr) or slayer. Pretty insane effigy stack though, very nice work by Richard .
  2. Could be, I haven't had one in a while but I haven't played so much. I believe pre-nuke you'd get messages if you were/had been at the GE in world 2 etc. but those bots may have gotten banned already :). Edit: I hit 5000 H&A posts last week (party).
  3. And she makes it up by being helpfully efficient to those who do read this blog and take her advice. Lying? Maybe. Useful to you? Definately. :) Her efficiency is so high that she only updates the subtitle every 25 levels :P Every 10 or sometimes 20! Xp-waste to the end! But really, I did like 5k hunter xp without Zamorak favour earlier so efficiency is pretty thin these days :o. 101/101 summ/farm please. Or you could PM me :P.
  4. Made 1.7m off the flasks, got mining rocks, 1 hunter rock (300 catches), not much else. 120k xp to 93 craft + 95 smith, 115k to 92 agil.
  5. The stone resets at midnight GMT.
  6. These days, I tend to fight anyone who crashes me since I'm maxed combat/gear etc. but I hop until I find an empty spot usually, some places are just too crowded.
  7. Trips won't be 50% longer because of the flasks, you still need to carry familiar pouches and that takes the same space. Overloads in BOB won't matter very much unless you did 12+ overload trips which only applies at DKS. Super prayers/special recovers don't matter much either, super prayers generally being not worth it and recovers only used at Nex.
  8. I'd go for 80 attack and a chaotic rapier or 80 magic and a polypore staff at least.
  9. Saradomin sword > brackish = scimmy If using void, and you own goliaths and deflector, korasi > saradomin sword.
  10. Bandits are very low melee xp per hour, if you want something better, go with any undead. They may not be permanently agressive but you have to redrink prayer pots anyway.
  11. Loads of great tweaks here, very happy :). Flasks are almost an afterthought and I don't mind this time. New barrows is great too :).
  12. And now, we stop arguing about this. That is, anyone who claims 5b xp with donations isn't 'legit' can make a separate discussion topic for that, or not post, or post and be banned. Thank you.
  13. I would definitely not use a prayer book, they are *really* expensive and offer low bonusus. You also can't sell them after you are done with them, so it's like 10m sunk into +4 magic attack. Try getting a mage's book instead, which has a reasonable +15 magic attack at about 2-3m. In order of importance, compared to no equipment, ignoring level requirements: Staff of light (75 attack 75 mage 1.5m gp?) Arcane stream necklace (70 mage 70 dungeoneering 30k tokens) Ahrim's robe top and legs (70 defence 70 mage 3m gp?) God cape (60 magic, free) Mage's book (50 magic? 2-3m gp) Infinity hat (50 magic, 20 defence, 500k-1m gp?) Infinity boots (50 magic, 20 defence, 1m gp) Infinity gloves (50 magic, 20 defence, 500k gp) Seer's ring (300k gp) Not sure on the level requirements but they are all 70 or lower except for the staff of light - use a master wand until you can get that.
  14. I don't think you want to be in void teams, lol.
  15. Grats on deflector :P. Nice +15-20% ranged xp gains there w/ hati. Should add that rocktails are more profit and faster xp than monkfish (and use urns!).
  16. Deflector is no good, get Pernix, ccbow, eeks. Rigour kinda optional.
  17. Ranged isn't useful for the fight caves anymore! Level 80 magic will serve you much better :). Look into obtaining any of these: arcane stream necklace, polypore staff, ganodermic poncho and leggings, mage's book/arcane spirit shield, overloads/Vecna's skull and magic potions.
  18. I corrected your plan a bit :P. 1. Plank make is a spell in the Lunar Spellbook, requiring level 86 magic. It turns runes, money and a log into a plank. If you use mahogany logs and sell the mahogany planks you'll get cheap xp. 2. It's a spellbook, unlocked by finishing the Lunar Diplomacy quest (Dream Mentor for some spells). There are three spellbooks, the default, Lunar and Ancient. 3. You can have access to all three spellbooks, but only one can be active at the time. You can only cast spells from your active book. Praying at certain altars will change your spellbook.
  19. thanks Wouldn't put the numbers like that, it's ~215k vs ~245k. Polypore does win which I'm guessing is based on the range it has, I definitely lost 1 attack per dragon just picking up the bones, they are annoyingly spread out (except in Kuradal's).
  20. Waterfiends drop a lot more charms with an iron titan. I got 130 crims/hr at Cavern fiends, 120ish at black demons, 180+ in the chaos tunnels (on task but still). Fiends drop a few blues, greens and golds, demons drop mainly additonal golds.
  21. Good update. HAM cult must be so happy :D.
  22. No claws, but I'm bored so I'll go anyway. Not sure they are even worth it anyway. 72 kills in 40 minutes, 90k xp/hr in strength only with Korasi specs and picking up all that loot (and void deflector). Probably 95k xp/hr if you leave all items.
  23. Both xp rates and plank prices will go up, you'd have to do con while it is lower gp/xp than normal. E.g. at 1.6x price, do con until 1.7x modifier. After that, 'free' skills are better, because you're no longer saving money. The amount of time saved is equal.
  24. Fast xp would require Ancient Magicks or Lunar Magics ideally, or Ritual of the Mahjarrat. They unlock more spells and spellbooks so look into that if you want to get something useful out of 99 magic (since it's a useless skill unless you get some of these quests). Combat magic tends to be a bit slower and more expensive than the skilling variety (until you unlock bursts and Storm of Armadyl) but you can mage things with drops to bring down the cost and also train summoning, for example. In general there are a few things to get: a magic damage boosting staff (chaotic staff or staff of light), a magic damage boosting amulet (from dungeoneering, arcane stream necklace), magic attack bonus (mystic for now, Ahrim's later on, mage's book, god cloak/Ardougne cloak, a mitre if praying, barrows gloves) and magic level boosts (magic potions, extreme magic potions, overloads, wolpertinger, Vecna's skull). Basically, you need money. At your level, I believe Crumble Undead offers the highest damage output at a reasonable cost, but it must be cast on undead of course. It's rather slow xp though. Instead of combat I'd suggest superheating up to 70 magic. At that point you can cast ice burst (with Desert Treasure done) which will be some of the fastest xp/hr right up to 99 magic. You can superheat mithril, adamant or runite with the appropriate smithing levels (coal bag helps a lot too), I think they profit at times, but check the GE. With the Family Crest quest done, you get a pair of gauntlets which double the smithing xp gained from smelting gold, you can use those with superheat for some great smithing xp (costs a bit). You can burst rock lobsters under Waterbirth Island for fast charms or skeletons in the Marim Dungeon (requires Monkey Madness) for pure xp. Either way get Hati paws, they will double your combat xp gain (attack, defence, strength, ranged, magic) for roughly 900k xp (level 73-74).
