Best Pet Troll names?!
Mine is Phoenix Quill atm (random item I happened to have). Onyx is pretty nice too.

I'm not sure if that is worth it. If you don't have turmoil, sure, because piety > leeches, but I don't see piety+augury being good enough to beat turmoil+leech+soul split. And of course if you have a titan, soul split is required.

High Level Offhand Equipment
Dagannoth kings mainly, also Zamorak god wars if you were tanking melee. DFS has more offensive power and magic defence, which are helpful for Bandos, but maul really is better than either shield. You wouldn't use either shield ranging (ideally) except in ranged vs. ranged pvp, where cks is nice.

200M in all Skills
How many/which top players are currently doing Char's cave/book and the firemaking Circus event? Lots of them are 200m fm already but for Suomi it could be a nice boost. Also considering it might shave a couple of million off the cost.

I don't think any but Aegis are out yet, and that doesn't look very appealing. But, even getting the Witch-Queen title can be more efficient than JoT if you make it part of your goal. Personally I will not be getting JoT because it will become useless past max, whereas other auras may last forever (for pvm mainly).

If you don't have soul split, they are.

You always get small drops as well, for glacors/tds these are shards, rune skirts/maces/swords/chains/baxes+dragon maces/daggers+shards of Armadyl+diamonds+infernal ashes+assorted herbs (dks has bones, Bandos gwd has bones). Plus a great effigy rate. Sure, you have to spend hours, but that's hardly an issue if you're making money on the scale of 100m and up, since you'd be spending loads of hours anyway. People who are maxed combat can all make at least 2-3m/hr even if they have no bossing experience, simply at frosts. With a bit of practice you can get ~55 kph at tds with only about 10m in gear plus arcane stream and a chaotic, which translates to ~3m/hr and .7 effigies per hour. The rate for claws is about one in every 4-5 hours with that method, not very rare at all. Only sigils are really extremely rare. Dks even average multiple drops per hour. It's true most people won't get the top tier gear, but that goes for overloads etc. too. If you look at how many people have Bandos + claws or Armadyl + glaivens or even just steadfasts, well that's the number of people who can easily shoot for Virtus with a few weeks of MTK, farming and casual frost dragon hunting.

It should be a comp cape req imo. Regular fire cape is 'only' on par with an Elite Diary as requirement difficulty goes, that's low-mid 90s stats at best. The new challenge could be a real test of something more than a mid level challenge. Expw from not doing peng/JoT tbh. Don't own JoT and still do pengs, tears, Char's cave etc. Not owning JoT is expw tbh. Not exactly, it's the most efficient way to get a tier 4 aura ASAP.

2m/hr is a really low rate of income if you were already maxed combat and had a fair amount of gear. You can combine 99 rc/agil/mine/fish + a bit of other effigy skills + moneymaking and max out with 1b+ profit. And that's all still faster than regular skilling.

Is Barbarian Assault Worth It For Mining And Agility?
You can fill a penance horn in roughly 4 hours, if you can empty it in 4 hours or less it's not worth playing BA. Adjust for team skill.

Glacors
You can make money, right? Start up/continue MTK for 1-2m per week, farm herbs for another 500k per day, do some summoning training in between on something profitable (dragons, slayer?) and get an elemental titan, you have a lot of dungeoneering you can do to improve performance (csb, chaotic staff, chaotic rapier, arcane stream necklace) - you can make a lot of money while improving your gear with all that. You're only poor if you act poor.

Glacors
Well, fire spells deal double damage AND get +80 free damage to each hit (even if it misses!) so any other spell is not worth using. Keep in mind the bonus damage only applies to the glacor, not the little glacytes it spawns. If you can, get fire surge first. Even better would be overloads - with a +7 magic level boost, you are only one level away from being able to use surge, and the +21% damage boost is a lot better than mage pots. Plus that it doubles as strength boost as well.

Glacors
Yes. Read the Tip.It guide first thing. Since you can't fire surge/overload/soul split/metal titan/rapier the kills will be slow, but still fairly decent mage xp I guess.

DFS is good for wyverns :P. Cks isn't very good unless you have lots of useless tokens (to buy and repair).

Virtual stealing, court convicts
... and now legally is in the Netherlands. ... Basically this. The Supreme Court has ruled that it is theft, meaning that the definition (in law) of theft now explicitly includes digital items, also when stored on someone else's server and only temporarily provided to you as service. You can keep arguing that it shouldn't be that way, but until another court (with jurisdiction in the Netherlands) rules otherwise or the law gets changed, it's simply the case that they can be stolen and you can be convicted for theft of digital items in the Netherlands.

"Are you a poor player who cant afford anything? Do you struggle to make ends meet while those with wealth trample on you? Then this mini-game is JUST for them, to make you feel even worse!" That's basically what it feels like to me from Jagex's stand point :| Still, a nice month none the less. I think we've been due for some extremely high-leveled content (a la Nex) for a while now. Extremely high-level content isn't the same as content for the super mega rich 1% of the player base. Imo, money is one factor in high level content. You grind for xp or you grind for cash, same thing really (especially with effigies now they go hand in hand). Compared to spending 100 hours at ZMI to train 91-99 rc or something, I find 200m for a Virtus set nothing especially hard to achieve. 2m gp/hr is a relaxed pace at frost drags, all you need is a yak. Not to mention that 200m gp profit at frosts probably takes care of 20+ of those hours to 99 rc anyway.

price of the new flasks?
Maybe a vial simply has 6 charges and each time you drink from it drains one charge (breaking at 0). Personally I can't see a 50k price being worth it, at that point you're paying 1m+ for one inventory of those vials to save one banking trip of about 5-10 minutes every 1-3 hours depending on what you're hunting. For a boss which is 10 minutes banking per hour and 5m gp/hr profit, you can pay up to ~500k per hour to halve banking times and still profit, which is depending on the boss about 20k each (20 potions used per hour). For a boss which is 5 minutes banking per hour and 3m gp/hr, halving banking time would be worth it at about 135k per hour, so 6-7k per flask.

Well, somehow I got 70 sc points today, bought tools, and got all remaining (buyable) strange rocks (that's 1 smith 1 craft 2 con) using only 1.5 hammers and .3 needles or something. Which leaves me at hunt/mine/wc to go for statue 29. Also approximately 200k to 97 con, 60k to 95 smith, 180k to 93 craft, 150k to 92 agility and 350k to 92 runecrafting with pengs and troll invasion not done yet :).

Latest chin rates?
1) Get a deflector! Ranging amulet is better than fury as well (you have at least 16 prayer bonus with elite void skirt and soul wars cape which is plenty). 2) Depending on your ranged level up to 400k xp/hr I believe.

Behind the Scenes - February
There isn't a clear division between what a monster hunter 'needs' and what a quester 'needs'. Jagex does not recognize these subtypes within the game at all, which is a design choice by them. You can debate that choice, but the general principle right now is that all skills can (should, will) have benefits across the entire range of 25 skills, pvm and questing. You can beat Nomad with a spork, but some people can't defeat him with maxed combat. What do you actually need to defeat Nomad and earn the quest cape?

I think that's quite enough with the baiting on both sides, Crossed Body and Dire Wolf. @Scherzo: I agree.

It's all reliable and confirmed in HLF. If someone could post a confirmation of this?
