Vecna's skull boost looks like this: +6 for one minute, +5 for one minute, ... , +1 for one minute, +0 for one minute. Average: +3 levels. Overload average: +7 levels. That's an extra 12% damage bonus. If you feel that Jad should die this time, you should get an arcane stream necklace, that simple. It's two hours of dungeoneering for twice the chance of actually killing Jad. Should be noted that your accuracy on Jad isn't extremely high, so any further magic attack bonus increases you can find would help.

Won't beat you probably, unless you start slowing down lots :P. Kxbow is 348 max, hand cannon 623. 3 and 5 ticks respectively so 116 vs. 124.6 damage per tick, with hand cannon having 8 more attack bonus. Roughly 8-9% better I'd say.

You do not have enough offensive power to kill Jad without prayer switching. Major upgrades to your offence would be overloads, arcane stream necklace, infinity boots, Ardougne cloak and seer's ring (imbued if possible) for a total of +15% magic damage, +7 magic levels and +21 (25 if imbued) magic attack bonus. Virtus and arcane spirit shield would add another 14 magic attack bonus. You can lose the rapier, Vecna's skull and extreme potions. Bring 2 overloads, 2 prayer renewals, enhanced excalibur, Armadyl runes and about 8 super restores. The remaining spaces can be brews. You can mage everything and complete the caves in about 35 minutes.

Well you're not going to make money if you're not willing to take any sort of risk. You will need to take the risk that your investment in time and essence turns out to be less profitable than another method. That happens. Even more so with boss hunting, where you may need to invest 20+ hours and millions of gp before a good drop.

I made money for turmoil with farming (snapdragons, before scroll of life and juju). Same deal for overloads, but torstol. Then I went for 99 summoning/steel titan, which was funded by farming again (+2 claw drops iirc). Basically, you need 200m worth of cannonballs to powerslay to max, but you'll also get drops. I rarely had more than 10k cannonballs at the time when I went for 99 slayer, because I didn't have that much cash, but with farming I never had trouble buying enough (+ I used steel titan scrolls a lot, that cost extra). A single sol drop will buy you 3-4k cannonballs or something. One task's worth of dragon bones is 1k cannonballs (and you don't cannon irons/steels/miths).

This & what Paul, Will and Cheefoo said :P. Void deflector offers the highest raw damage output for melee (with barrows/goliath gloves and rapier, no slayer task of course). Regular void ranged provides the highest ranged damage output (with hand cannon) and deflector provides the highest ranged damage output that doesn't blow up in your face (rune knives w/ acp). Basically, any time you have at least 146 strength bonus, regular void offers a higher max hit than Bandos + barrows gloves + Neitiznot helm. For void deflector, that is 86+ compared to defender/Bandos/Neitiznot helm. For ranged, void deflector is always better damage output than non-void gear (for chaotic crossbow). Defence doesn't matter, it's always better.

It depends a bit on what you are slaying. Ex. max efficiency slayer would include banking bones at dragons typically (certainly if you have a yak). There are four kinds of dragon you do (iron, steel, mithril, black) and all of them profit. Dark beasts may be better slayed in Kuradal's at current cannonball prices, but you need ranged xp. Don't forget the 63m spend on cannonballs saves you time and money chinning as well ;). Ice strykes also profit. Spectres, hellhounds, dagannoth, terror dogs and suqah are a loss.

384k thieving today so far, going to try finish the last 120k for 94 and maybe get some hunter done as well (need rocks). Edit: got 94 thieving :). Edit2: got con rocks, another 100k xp. About 350k to 97 con.

I would take into account bank value and capacity for making money. For example, I asked someone whether I could borrow Virtus and he replied he'd lost a party hat set, but he was merching his way back up so in a few weeks/months. That's rich.

Idm Phoenix lair, it can replace Bork for me. Tele there is dirt cheap, like 600 gp, and it takes under 10 mins. Did about 20k livid today and about 220k fletching. Also Circus (with fm as well). I need two weeks or so worth of circus to get all costume items.

Hex hurts faith healers (= magic) so republican action will see it censored by sopa.

Basically juju means you get 4/3rd of the number of herbs you pick (a third more). Scroll of life means you get .1 seed back per healthy patch (so about 30k gp per healthy torstol patch). Remote Farming means you do not suffer from disease. This is a bit iffy because you also grow herbs overnight (most likely) so it's not 100%. But it still favours torstol. You also have Greenfingers which apparently works as remote farming and juju together, with less of a harvest boost. So no deaths, +5-7% harvest.

If you were into the Great Orb Project a lot, I believe it's pretty good in f2p as well. Go get those master runecrafter robes :P.

I did Phoenix Lair just now. Most efficient way to get a phoenix pet. Dharok's is totally awesome, hit a 900 on the phoenix :P. I'll be dungeoneering once I finish Shattered Heart which shall be in 2-3 weeks. Also did pengs, yummy bit of rc xp. So apparently I hit 200 days played. About 56k xp/hr. Considering my MA rank, hybrid gear etc. I'm quite pleased with that. The average went up about 8k/hr the past 4 months as well :).
