  1. Mummies :P. After my overload wears off I let 3-4 attack me at once and usually they hit a bit quite quickly, then I ss up until I'm just past 500 and start praying again, then overload. @Squab iirc the unbreakable ones got removed. Or you have to get them during a quest but can't get them after, not sure.
  2. Without a comp cape you'll have less accuracy and strength etc., so that changes things. You should use a Soul Wars cape, probably do a 2 yak trip with 6 overloads or 3 yaks with 8. Reduce the number of pray pots/restores by about a third and bring the rest brews.
  3. You could but if you can get an Armadyl battlestaff that would speed up your kills by roughly 25%. Your other big upgrade is an arcane stream necklace, Ahrim's robes work perfectly, use a hexcrest/full slayer helmet also.
  4. Personally I would do the ones you use melee on first (Akrisae, Ahrim, Karil) since you need turmoil. Akrisae and Verac together is far more efficient as you save a lot of running time as well, so that's a given. Since Akrisae + Verac > Ahrim > Karil also has the shortest distance between mounds, that's a good starting point. Then you can move east to Guthan and finally north to Dharok. If your levels aren't high enough to have prayer last this far, you can use a dose of pray pot (which I'm pretty sure beats using barrage) or Storm of Armadyl, which kills Dharok so fast he will never be able to kill you.
  5. Strength is ~150k xp/hr + effigies at least :/. I did some Livid yesterday, bought a ton of arrows to use. Today I bought Dharok's and went mummies for champion scrolls. I got an effigy. 88k strength xp, 35k hp xp. One mummy has 900 lp, so that's about 520 kill in 45 minutes. It's hard to keep your health low, wish you could turn off natural regeneration :/.
  6. Well since it only works on the last 100 lifepoints of a monster at most (10% of health, up to 200 for master), and you must still hit, it only saves a bit of trouble when one-hitting the unstable after it blows up etc. If your max is over 400 (800), equilibrium would do a better job. Although I'd say that even with a max of around 550-600 which is reasonable for bossing (650 for slayer), the extra 25kish pts for greater knock-out make equlibrium better regardless as the gain is still quite small.
  7. I don't think there is much useful pvm-wise amongst auras, vampirism and penance both save resources and lengthen trips of course but they don't last a full trip very much (unless it's tds/glacors where you use no food & banking is really fast anyway).
  8. This post is a bit inaccurate, maybe these are the words used in 117 but I'd use: Advertising wise, you only host when you key, and you don't beg for floors. This means 'N' and 'NK' are not used amongst more experienced dgers. If you do host a floor, you advertise the kind of floor you want and the number of people you need to get the full five. There are: Floors 1-29: c1s or rushes, all floors c1 small 5:1 done in a row. Advertised with 'c1s+4'. f30-32: Forger floors, not recommended if you can do 33+. Advertised with 'A+4'. f33-35: Bal'Lak floors, good boss if you know what to do. If your entire team can do this, don't choose f30-32. Advertised with 'A+4'. f36-38: Low occults (locc), not recommended if you can do flesh. Advertised 'locc+4' f39-41: Necro floors, fast boss if you have lots of hexes, otherwise avoid this like the plague. Advertised 'Necro+4'. f43-44: Flesh floors, easy and reasonably fast boss, advertised 'Flesh+4'. f45-47: Thunderous (tf) floors, easy and fast boss but very easy to screw up with door lag or bad teammates. Advertised 'tf+4'. f48-50: Low warped (lw) floors, some annoying bosses. Advertised 'lw+4'. f51-53: Hope devourer (hope) floors, good boss. Advertised 'hope+4'. f54-56: World-gorger (gorger/george) floors. Advertised 'gorger+4' or 'hwarp+4' sometimes. f57-60: Kal'ger floors, slow boss. Advertised either 'kalger+4' or 'hwarp+4'. Floors 30+ are always large unless otherwise noted, floors before that always small. Normally you would do flesh for occult, ballak for abandoned, hope/gorger for your warps. If you want any floor, you can use 'F+4'. If you want any abandoned, 'A+4'. Any occult is 'O+4', any warped is 'W+4'. Denk = Dead End No Key Dewk = Dead End With Key There is no need to use these two: De = Dead End If you see a dead end WITH a key, you should call out the key as quickly as possible. Keys are referred to by colour, then shape: gr = green go = gold b = blue s = silver y = yellow o = orange p = purple c = crimson w = wedge r = rectangle p = pentagon cr = crescent s = shield t = triangle co = corner d = diamond So for a dead end you call out 'de'. If it has a gold shield key, you call out 'de gosh k' (k to indicate it's a key, not a door that requires that key). This is because any of your teammates might be close to the gosh door, so they would be able to quickly collect the key and move on. You should pick up the key regardless of course. Just hold it until someone needs it. When someone calls 'gt [...]' with [...] being a reason why, you should use the gatestone teleport if that reason means you should go. Reasons can be skills ('gt 95 con' means someone with 95 construction should use the group gatestone teleport to do a challenge room/door), guardian doors ('gtgd'), keys ('gt gosh' or 'gto gosh', the latter indicates the gt is actually at the door in question), boss ('gtb') or specific challenges ('gt mime', 'gt lever', 'gt portal').
  9. That's the 30th of december, now about a week later Suomi is almost 23m base. That's a very neat xp rate in skills you're not focusing on :P.
  10. Bcp is a bigger upgrade than tassets ;). Good luck with the money :). (also you have 2 yak scrolls too many)
  11. The cost of the equipment is about 5m for polypre, gano top and gano bottom, plus the cost of your usual mage gear. An Armadyl battlestaff is about 10m. Rune-wise the cost is either 150k tops with polypore or up to 700k with Storm of Armadyl. Storm of Armadyl is a lot faster and easier (fast = less damage taken). The degrade cost for gano is maybe 100k?
  12. I really recommend getting an arcane stream necklace, it's 100% the best for all maging you will ever do. Chaotic-wise I like the maul (good for waterfiends, Bandos gwd and stuff).
  13. Thanks bonez, got any more?
  14. Learning to cast group veng before you have the magic level, that's pro .
  15. Add me and I'll show you the lures for the south spot sometime :). It's much easier with titan placement because there isn't anything.
  16. Yes. Did some Temple Trekking. I believe it's 70 or 71 Smiddi and 61 or 62 Rolayne.
  17. In addition to that, overloads are more efficient than repotting every level and on some monsters also more efficient than repotting every 5-6 levels due to the extra loot. Ice strykes are a prime example of overload > anything else (unless you wolper scroll every minute).
  18. Thanks, you too (well xp), grats on 1b :D. To show I'm keeping it up I got another claw drop today.
  19. Best cape in the game but the trim is ugly. Congratulations .
  20. Boost your magic attack as far as you can (and damage, of course). Good time to get an arcane stream necklace as well. Use a magic-boosting prayer and protect ranged. Heal with enhanced Excalibur and elemental titan, or bring a war tortoise and kill more before you have to bank for bones (you will need food which may be worth more than the loot/hr you get).
  21. Quyneax replied to vleademir's topic in Help and Advice
Super defence is probably good, check this spreadsheet for the cost and xp/hr. Switch to brews at 81.
  22. Zerker beats seers always (8 str > 8 att) but infinity probably beats dragon (8 att > 4 str). I'd say Virtus mask would beat Neit without titan but gano visor is not worth the expense imo, if 6 mage att would beat 3 str then just use infinity.
  23. Fletching during downtime at Livid Farm works very well. This x1000, it makes Livid more fun for me as well. 200k fletch xp/hr or so will get you 9m fletch over the course of 850k produce.
