I would not recommend going for any single stat until you have multiple stats in the 90s.

I don't see it as a problem with the principle of the randomness in-game but more with corp and gwd boss design. They are dull and boringly designed. Things like tormented demons are so much more interesting and also much harder to compete at. If you duo with someone actually really good at tds you will not get more than one in five kills even with months of experience. If all combat were like tds people would be very upset though since most people (seem to) dislike it.

I quit hopping for slayer except for maxed (method-wise) people at 130 combat pretty much, for skilling I never have to hop because there never is competition (lrc, fishing spots etc. are all shared anyway). For tormented demons I must hop because I can't lure if there is someone else in the spot next to it, but they can lure just fine. So it depends on the situation. For example at mutated bloodvelds I hopped for Simon (rank something overall), even though he was ~120ish combat at the time, because he was using the best gear, cannon, overloads and titan. I'd crash anyone 138 combat without a cannon in a heartbeat.

That's why you go to multi-combat areas with cannon, titan, storm of Armadyl/barrage and overloads at high levels (if the competition is that fierce which is rarely is) and single combat areas at lower levels. Imo they go together. There is a lot you can do even in single-combat to beat someone of a higher level, things like positioning during a kill to get close to the next, losslessly looting or aggroing monsters with wind rush are all available at level 1.

Summoning isn't Zamorak and prayer isn't Saradomin. All gods have pious followers in war (capable of using piety, in RS terms) and only Zaros is special with his curses. Summoning is used by people of all gods as well - the two summoning shops are run by a Guthixian and a Bandosian respectively. Herblore is primarily associated with Guthix only because of the natural ingredients used in potions and the druids discovering them. That being said, overloads are a major addition to combat performance. However since they can't be used in the wilderness, adding them to combat level is fairly pointless.

People below 99 would be affected when fighting people above 99... It wouldn't benefit people, as HP is the worst skill to grind (unlike dg) and would provide people with tons of useless collateral ranged xp. I mean, I could say 120 farming is the most obvious next stat to go to 120 because with Livid & torstol & morchella & cactus & juju pots, people will probably go way over 99 anyway, and people below 99 farming aren't affected by the double herb yield at level 119 right!?

I like the high stat requirement for myself, it gives me hope I might one day have to train up for a quest requirement again. But I hope it won't put the quest cape too far out of reach if they continue this trend. The rest of the month looks good and solid.

No need to take that up here, PM if you want that question answered. If you don't like tds then glacors might be better for you, as there's a lot less switching involved. I still recommend using 1 item switch: polypore staff for glacytes and staff of light with fire surge for the glacor.

Rapier does have higher dps (1 tick faster at about the same max) and requires an additional 2 switches + you can't lure the enduring with it (so you use another 1k gp on a no-damage fire surge each kill). It's a tossup between apm and dps.

Karil's, ss, focus on increasing attack and strength bonus, slayer helmet of course, piety and protect ranged, if you have the charms to get it a bunyip would help a lot.

Got another slice drop, I know for sure I killed 6 demons before that, but after that I went to duo and idk if they are in separate counts on my alog. Waiting to see if they appear in separate counts. Edit: they did. Added 41 kills to log (40 minute trip :D).

Yep, it would. I don't use the northern portal much (fala lumb varrock) + I replaced the costume room with a lot of other rooms :P.

Well I've tried that and unless you can perfectly ss flash with 2 demons on you (with 4 and 5 tick weapons, alternating) you're going down, safespotting is probably still preferable. Ganodermic won't let you ss tank two demons meleeing or one maging or anything, you can tank the last couple of hits while your titan finishes a kill and move on to the next for example, but that's it. Main attraction of Virtus is that if you lose 500 lp because of a bad spawn you still have another 500 to lose before you have to start safing. Not that gano (poncho only) wouldn't be better if you wanted to tank 2 demons all the time, but you really shouldn't want to do that :P. 91 rc as well :D. First level of the new year. Virtus bottoms have 4 or 5 mage attack over gano legs and +1 prayer with the lifepoint boost, it's the top that's iffy but still clearly favours virtus. @Zaap: yes, and degradeable items would be awesome especially.

Ideal setup is: Neitiznot helm with 90 steel titan scrolls Virtus robe top and Virtus robe bottoms Ragefire boots Goliath gloves Berserker ring (i) Ardougne cape 3/4 Arcane spirit shield + dragon defender Chaotic rapier + polypore staff Arcane stream necklace + amulet of fury Eee specs, darklight, sapphire lantern 3 overloads 3 prayer renewals Rest prayer pots, leave 1-2 spaces free Titan summoned at the chest.
