  1. 100k or so in the shop, you need to have the quest done though (Monkey Madness). Get a black mask if you are slaying (15% attack and strength on task) and do Smoking Kills.
  2. Yes it is -64. Use the highest curse spell you can get to.
  3. Use prayer potions... you're going to have to anyway. LRC, skeletal gorillas and all sorts of random high-hp low-defence undead are good.
  4. Yep I'd recommend LRC especially if you don't afk (as mining during combat takes attention). Use a bunyip and don't cannon, only attack the 120s. If you cannon, you attract the rangers, and if you get rangers on you you can't melee and mine at the same time (as the corpse&new target are away from eachother). I'd still recommend slayer. Use piety to burn through tasks and have a good block/cancel list. If you slay for melee xp cannoning isn't always too great (for example on LRC).
  5. I would like to add that augury is very much useless unless you do mage-something hybriding on prayers. In which case I'd still work on 95 prayer instead of dungeoneering.
  6. Yep, everything off (summoning not on ofc) and casting spells. You'd really just want 99 magic and constitution.
  7. Muggi's guide suggests blood spells for healing. I can't vouch for them but over time it could be some decent healing. Also this would be the time to use those treasure trail biscuits :P.
  8. The base slayer gear is as follows (alternatives in brackets): [For all slayer monsters except those mentioned under other weapons] Chaotic rapier (whip) Bandos body + legs (Verac's skirt with either fighter torso or proselyte top) [Depending on prayer/accuracy needs] Fire cape/Soul Wars cape/Ardougne cloak 3 Barrows gloves (your best rfd gloves, at least rune) Dragon boots (rune boots) Amulet of fury (glory) Dragon defender (rune defender) Berserker ring (i)/ferocious ring if slaying in Kuradal's Dungeon (berserker ring, warrior ring) [Most important] Full slayer helmet. [For magic defence on waterfiends/aquanites] Karil's top and elite void skirt (black dragonhide body and chaps) [Crush attacks to use on waterfiends] Chaotic maul (Saradomin sword, Zamorakian spear) [stab attacks for higher-levelled dragons, when not using rapier] Korasi's sword (Zamorakian spear, leaf-bladed sword) Task-specific items such as mirror shields, antifire shields/potions, elemental shields, rock hammers, crystal chimes Cannon (optional, up to personal preference) Slayer setups generally emphasise strength bonus, which increases the average damage of each succesful hit (slayer monsters usually having rather low defence, hitting is not a problem). Secondly, prayer bonus is important to keep the cost of prayer potions down (as you slay with piety on, to increase the speed of your kills. This is cost-effective and highly recommended). As a rule of thumb, +15 prayer bonus or above is good, but don't overdo it (anything above +25 is a waste). Defence and accuracy bonus are usually not fretted over (any defence bonus over 200 will do; if you get hit too often you should be using a protection prayer). Dagganoth, black demon, lesser demon, hellhound, bloodveld and spectre tasks should be cannoned, as it dramatically increases xp rates (although it costs a bit). Some notes on gear: You'll want a fury and a berserker ring before you get bandos plate, and get that before tassets. You'll want accuracy bonus on higher-levelled dragons; if using stab attacks (which you should) you can use the Ardougne cloak 3 which provides you with +6 stab and +6 prayer bonus. Torso + sw cape and fire cape + proselyte are common cheap top/cape combinations; the former is better. Some levels to get for slayer (in approximate order but I'm not sure on the summoning): 68 summoning - bunyip 81 dungeoneering (you need 2 million xp, which takes you to level 80, but allowing some tokens for the scroll of life) - rapier 89 herblore (85 with a +4 stew boost) - extreme potions, superantifires 95 prayer - turmoil and soul split 88 summoning - unicorn 96 herblore (91 with a +5 stew boost) - overload 99 summoning - steel titan I'm sure I missed something but this is most of it. For you personally, GET 70 PRAYER. Get that rapier, sell bgs and dfs and dump the money on prayer. At this point I'm 125 combat as well and probably slaying twice as fast as you are due to the handy skills mentioned above.
  9. Void armour is 20% damage 10% accuracy. Guthan's set should never be used (if you need it, use a protect prayer + proselyte or a bunyip + EE or heck, food). It's 15 hours for barrows last time I checked. It does have very good defence and is around 40m cheaper than bandos, so it's a good start. Get Verac's skirt and Guthan's plate. Handcannon is good in both pvp and pvm, but I recommed a high fm level (90+). Use karil's crossbow until then. The dark bow is just suck, if you have a decent ranged level use Morrigan's. To OP: get 70 prayer & piety.
  10. Start farming, kill some dragons (frost, blue), get a bunyip, get 70+ ranged for black hide (generally useful cheap stuff).
  11. 2k, less with boosting. Also, don't do 2-3 levels of antifires, do more special recovers. Antifire seconds are untradeable and take quite some time to get (probably several hours for the amount you'd need).
  12. Quyneax replied to SoulWars's topic in Rants
liar I think said person was using arcstream and wolper, correct me if I'm wrong but barrage will hit over 500 with that.
  13. The most common method is buying an item and seeing how much you pay for it to get it instantly. Then you check how low you have to go to instantly sell an item. That gives you two boundaries. You want to lower the first and up the second until you profit from buying and selling.
  14. Eh if you wanted to do that, do spec recovers & superantifires for another 3 levels. You don't need to delete your pin by the way.
  15. You can try the 'Burstinglobs' cc, I believe the world is in the 60s.
  16. I support this guide . If I ever get a pair of them brawlers I'm getting 99 cooking (hint: I won't any time soon).
  17. I'd use commendations on buying void unless you already have it. But you need 100 pts to upgrade a skirt so yeah.
  18. I would just proceed as if you were making 1.5k overloads as I set out, and save the extremes until you need more. As you will eventually want 93 herblore (I think) if only for effigies.
  19. Update this :P. You should at least show your hat set.
  20. What would someone ever do with 30k gold charms? Read his blog. I hear white is up to 1.5b, red over 1b and divine at 900m+. Do you see them crashing any time soon?
  21. Just get the cabbage port and juju. The thing about juju is that you get good hunter xp while getting the seeds, so you essentially get them for free. Farming & mixing the pots takes only minutes of work.
  22. I would use the following: sol, arcstream, sw cape, mitre, seers (i), infinity boots, ahrim's top and skirt, arcane spirit shield, barrows gloves. You can also use an unholy book. Either way such a setup requires no switching for luring (20/22 base prayer bonus, you could use a stole switch for 10 more). Barraging is faster. I don't recommend bursting at all unless you really want magic xp. Also, don't use battle robes when bursting, though they are ok when barraging. Ahrim's hood is always a bad idea really. It has +6 magic attack and degrades, the farseer helmet has +6 and doesn't, the healer hat has +7 and doesn't, the third-age hat has +8 and doesn't and the mitre has +4 (iirc) and +5 prayer.
  23. You need 8.6m xp - but you have a bit of that, 8m to go or so. You can get 400k from While Guthix Sleeps, 450k from Blood Runs Deep (requires 75 prayer to cash in) and 70 zeal from Nomad's Requiem (3780 xp each at 94 prayer & you get 10% bonus if you cash in 100 of them).
  24. 66-82 do a cheap decent speed potion. The prices are unknown to me since free trade but you should be able to get some decent deals - maybe as good as 10 gp/xp. Look carefully, buy one each of a few herbs/seconds and the resultant potions. Pre-free trade super defence was rather good. 82-83 do special recovers. 83-84 do superantifires and more special recovers. 84 make 2k extreme attack w/ stew (440k xp). 85 make 2k extreme strength (460k xp). 86 make 1500 extreme defence (360k xp). 87 make 1500 extreme magic (375k xp). 88 make 2k extreme ranged (520k xp). That's a total of 2155k xp from level 84 which should be close to 91. At that point stew and make 1500 overloads to get 93 herblore and you'll never need boost potions again.
  25. The dark bow is not really good at anything but KOing. It's max is around 500-500 (depending on gear and stuff) with the special attack but it's very slow and generally useless outside pvp. At 60 ranged, train with a magic shortbow or the best knives/darts you care to use. Void range is the best ranged gear unless you need defence. You can now get it without doing combat through Conquest - this also gives you the very useful deflector.
