  1. ur not alloewd to be proud of getting berserker until u get berserker while hybriding with CSB or hex :P
  2. I don't see it as a "minimum requirement" kind of thing. Different teams have different preferences. How low you can go before you tick off your teammates. With enough skill, there's nothing stopping someone from getting nex kills with black dhide rune cbow and eagle eye. I'm still not going to take you into a team. Imbalance brings up the annoying problem of how much weight each player is carrying. Too much drama potential too. I prefer to find teams with around my own stats/gear. not many welfare nexers exist though. And most of them probably suck.
  3. it depends on the type of teleport used. Gatestone teleport will always negate damage. Group Gatestone teleport will negate damage if you teleport to a new location that is a certain distance from you previous location. Overworld runescape teleports works differently from that as well. It's case by case. Jagex isn't known for being consistent in their coding. Each teleport might have slightly different properties from another teleport.
  4. This. EW3 was one of the most excruciating quests in the game. The only ones that come close are See No Evil and One Small Favour. Not to mention that the rewards COMPLETELY suck for the hours of irritation involved in EW quests. The hell was wrong with Do No Evil? I didn't think it was annoying in the slightest. I agree, I thought the creativity of it was well worth the time I put into completing the quest. The problem was the annoying freeze the monkey ice all the way to ape atoll thing. >_< totally not fun. The puzzle was a perfectly fine puzzle. It was just disproportionately annoying and challenging for the reward: A useless body body. To top it all off the story is more or less non existent. There's a big difference between that puzzle and say, a number of other puzzles jagex has released. The temple of light was a annoying puzzle. But it was an annoying puzzle door you had to do while running for your life from man eating shadows, around a lost temple few men have the fortune of surviving setting foot in. While guthix sleep puzzles were either lethal two pronged puzzles set up, and themed around the paranoid treasure hunter: Movario. Or ancient puzzles set by druids long past, set to protect guthix's ultimate treasure. Elemental workshop sucks because its a puzzle with 0 atmosphere. If I want JUST a puzzle, I'll go buy a newspaper. If I play a puzzle in a video game, I expect a puzzle with atmosphere.
  5. Checking a Spirit Tree (or two) and a Calquat patch are not bad too, from my previous attempts. ah right farming. 99 in that tho :P don't plan on doing that >_< perhaps jade vine for slayer now that you mention it. im still at a loss for other sources though.
  6. are you sure the timer works that way? It very well could. Different timers work differently. Yak timers have a set amount of time deducted from them when you log off. So constantly logging off actually makes the timer drain faster. of course ultimately you can't know without testing during a bonus week. but I'd just get 88 herblore, and not take the risk of running down my bonus week timer super fast. Yea I tested it last bonus weekend and kept my timer at 2.7x for a quite a while, then reported it and never used that trick again just to be safe *facepalm* I figured jagex learned from their mistakes when they did the timer drain on familiars

  8. bs 30k tokens/hr = 2.7M/hr playing the most fun minigame in rs? yes please! -- also, t6 vs t8 or whatever doesn't make as big of a difference. what matters more: -- people who are FAST to tele to gds -- people who are eager to attack (even when food is low) -- people who have the right weapon bind -- avoid overkill loss focus on these and you'll be getting zerker more. for most people in 3bo even, idc if youre t10 zerk, i could be t6 zerk and probably outdps you with a prom 2h to your primal 2h. its all about being fast and active. IF players aren't the most active at teleing though, they'll get more out of upgraded berserker rings due to less diminishing returns. a slow team with tier 6 berserker will can probably expect a greater % benefit going to tier 8 berserker than a fast team going from tier 6 to tier 8
  9. anything worth doing at the start of a bonus week xp run? Circus is obvious New urns might work and lumberyard large task was something I personally did last month anything else?
  10. jadinkos are just as frantic but I find them funner because of the possibility of useful loot (juju herb seeds) they're also great xp, but idk if you have the hunter lvl yet.
  11. I have more dg xp than you. Get under me now.
  12. normally I'd agree but.. with free trade -> staking/korasi pking wealth distribution's already been f'd up. I don't see money making as an achievement anymore. Could not care less about the economic impact of this update.
  13. ive been stocked up on those for months :D as well as on torstols and etc. i won't need to buy anything new today <3
  14. 250k hunter xp/hour with jadinkos is well researched. zarfot said monkeys are 420k theoretical max assuming never fail? or something like that. but 300k is the commonly accepted rate.
  15. lol read harder >_< He's right though. The bind system is fine as it is. I don't see any room for necessary changes. What about the problem with binds getting deleted when a rollback is loaded where a player is inside a dungeon? The rest of the issues discussed in the suggestion are for making teamwork easier to achieve. They're not to fix any "problems" per se, just to make the game funner.
  16. arent a lot of rates 1.2x'd by urns now? I personally can't nail the button clicks properly to actually get 600k xp/hour with mahogany tables, but thats just me. from what im told, a good BA team charges a horn fast enough to average 100k agil xp/hour at an advanced course. you can extrapolate that to firemaking and mining i guess :P.
  17. hurry up and get t8 b4 u get ur ccbow ;o Working on it, but I'm only 84 dunge atm. 165k tokens left until cc bow. use those 35k tokens for t8 zerker first :P
  18. jagex does live tests masked as events a lot. >_<
  19. Thank you for your opinion on what the "required" items to use are, however that was not my question. Neither of those items are required to deal damage to Nex, so neither are "mandatory to have" aside from teams that have requirements for them. I'm planning on doing LS masses (without any LSP) just for fun, so "mandatory item choices" are irrelevant. I am asking what is the best "welfare" special weapon to use is. Would a DDS be ideal for helping kill the mages faster, or is it simply just best to use a EEE since nother special will be of very much use? Please keep the "Risk 40M+ or don't kill it" mindset out of this thread please? if you dont have claws, then bring an excalibur. Claws barely do enough damage in their spec to justify weapon switching. Dragon halberd, dragon claws, korasi sword, etc. Most definitely will not hit for enough damage or with enough accuracy to do more damage than ranging with ruby bolts (e) and a high range bonus, or void with diamond. Green is hardly wrong. No spec weapon is better than a bad spec weapons at nex due to her obscene defense. PS your attitude sucks
  20. I ffa'ed 4 nex kills so far. I went full arma EEKS rigour ruby bolts (e) and i always outdamaged everybody else using diamond bolts (e) and void. first 3 nex drops all went to me. I didn't get 4th kill, but by then my teammates all switched to the same setup as me.
  21. kill rate per player isnt that different for team sizes anymore now due to ceremonial no kill count. i think 4-5 man would be fine. just get 1 kill a trip.
  22. orly? i guess im just out of the loop ;p
  23. 600 * 5 ectotokens should be more than enough. I have about that many ectotokens. They aren't anywhere close to running out. we get a dragontooth penguin about once every month. thats 10 ectotokens with ring of charos. 12 times a year 120 ectotokens a year 3000 ectotokens = 25 years.
