Primal - Whats the point?
A lot of people dislike hexhunters. and having more than 2, MAYBE 3 hexhunters on a team is not ideal. Keyers don't have much use for hexhunters either. primal plate and hexhunter bow don't mesh well either. If you're not keying, sagittarian body works way better with hexhunter bow. +33 ranged attack ontop of hexhunter bow attack bonus, is absolutely huge. and if you're not keying, pray range with +100 magic def from sag body is generally better (hexhunter gives some magic D too) some high lvl keyers have broken hexhunter binds in favor of primal plate, platelegs, hood, 2h/baxe, and surgebox/laws

Banishing the Revenants 27-Jan-2011
I didn't say it had to be about reward. I said Jagex showed a complete lack of effort. like when blizzard hold community events, they take the time to say, program a simon says minigame just for the event. Even that's an incentive, because it's fun, even if it doesn't give a tangible in game reward. Jagex did nothing of the sort. They're just horrendously lazy.

they're pursuing it half heartedly. From my understanding, other MMO's have community events that are much more well thought out. Jagex community events are NEVER anything more than a few community managers logging into their Jmod accounts and playing with some scapers. other games have actual events. they go through the trouble to code minigames. Provide certain rewards for coming to the event. would you invite someone to a party then expect them to pay for their share of the food? when you hold a community event, the host is expected to put some incentives out. Put simply, this event fails to demonstrate common courtesy.

Banishing the Revenants 27-Jan-2011
It's supposed to be a game. This kind of stuff makes it more fun. Well done, Jagex. thumbs down from me. When other games do community events, it's not uncommon to see some game updates along with it. Would it have taken the community management Jmods to tell the dev team: "HEY could you tweak drop list of revenants just for 1 day?" "Could you make a tiny little area where a bunch of revenants spawn for us?" I bet something like that would have taken 1 developer a whole of 5 seconds to do, if that. But nope. I see no true initiative here. This event just reeks of laziness from Jagex.

Skilling in Pro DG
nah still 5:5 skillers should have high magic level for group gate teleport, and high alchemy though. If a skiller is 10 hitpoints and 99 magic, he'll still lower the combat level of the monsters just as much as a 10 hitpoints 1 magic account. Ideal dg account: 99 attack, strength, defense, ranged, magic, prayer, summoning, but 10 hitpoints. :P

Cwars
No risk, no reward. I'll either figure something out, or I won't. I don't gain anything from not trying. anyways nobody has answered my question about whether you can join a game that's already started if nobody leaves. Lets say a game starts with 2 players on Z team, 1 on S team. Can someone join the S team after the game starts? or would someone have to leave the Z/S team for a new player to join.
-
Cwars
derp, i thought it was 2 tickets for wins, 1 for loss anyways I'm not interested in learning cwars.
-
Cwars
but what if the game started as 2v1 can someone join the 1 man team, even if the game started with only 1 man on that team, is what I meant.
-
Cwars
does someone need to leave the existing game in order for someone else to join later?

A question thats been hitting me all time.
did his post get deleted? and yeah jagex does show their faces. I mean maybe they don't have a facebook page. But you can look up a few from the jagex site, and of course there was runefest. but with your tone I'd doubt they'd wanna see you ;p

Cwars
God wars halos are amazing items for Nex/DK's, and maybe TD's quite possibly the best item for the slot. in terms of inventory spots saved by, the effects of the halos are rumored to be comparable to an elysian/divine. BUT of course it's 300 cwars tickets, or 62.5 hours of nonstop winning, 83 hours of 50% wins, 50% losses, 125 hours of constant losses. Which is, a lot of time. So I'm wondering how many people I'd need to get together to set up a little AFK cwars group or so forth. I mean i could afk any cwars game I wanted, but with free trade I could arrange the winners to pay off the losers for losing :P, stuff like that. or perhaps even find a way to let people join a game that's nearly over. but uh yeah. How many.

which tasks to cannon?
if you have rapier, ext, and maxed equipment, you should be able to make so much money monster hunting, that a cannon is ALWAYS justified even if it's in a single combat zone.
-
which tasks to cannon?
Thinking of how much profit you make at the end of a task is not ideal. Because the bottom line is, you'll roughly get the same amount of money from drops whether you cannon or not. think of it as a matter of how much time you will save, and how much money in cballs will it cost to save that time. and maybe consider whether you want melee/ranged xp and what not (I personally don't consider this, but you can) I pretty much cannon everything cannonable Cballs are pretty cheap to start with, and they're currently at some of the lowest prices they've been at in a long long time. They say cannon accuracy is a mapped from the accuracy of the weapon you're currently using. Meaning 1 cannonball shot will save you roughly the same amount of time, whether or not the cannon is firing at 5000 cballs or 1000 cballs per hour. based on this logic, I set up a cannon anywhere I can. One thing to note, is that a cannon his a solid 300 dmg max hit, regardless of what weapons you are wielding. So the higher your max hit, the less worthwhile the cannon becomes. (cannon shots are thought to be a map of your accuracy, so your accuracy *might* not be of relevance)

Massively's exclusive interview
Ill be interested in how it copes with me selling a santa to my friend to 1gp then he sells back for 1gp, i then repeat. ^^ yeah that I'm not sure Jagex has thought this through well enough. I mean sure they could try to filter outliers, but it's still not an ideal solution. If enough players with proper knowledge of how the mechanics work, they can influence the market regardless of how they code it.

Lost profit from farming Torstols?
Firstly, 10 seeds is pretty tiny sample size It's also up to you to not buy torstols seeds for too high a price, and sell the herbs for too low. Because small % changes in torstol herb prices can completely ruin your profits.
-
Is it really free-trade?
the current guide price system doesn't work because price ceilings and floors restrict trade. Meaning the price doesn't fluctuate on some items, for weeks at a time. this should not be the case anymore once the ceilings and floors are removed. and the guide price should adjust to the actual price much more rapidly. Only rapid changes in price (namely over 5% change in 1 day) won't be accounted for. and that should be pretty obvious, as only game updates would cause something like that.

which kuradel tasks to block?
I wouldn't do them if you could get a high raw slayer xp rate. 0 effigies, 0 profit, risk of failure. Definitely block desert and jungle strykewyrms. the remaining 3 are the only ones I'd put under question. I'd consider LRC because zarfot's data indicates they have a high frequency. The same logic applies for abyssal demons but you can't get those yet. I'd consider nechyraels as a block. and skipping all other not so good tasks. Personally I don't skip terrordogs, because they're just too fast a task. Kalphites are now good because of the do no evil dungeon, from my understanding. i personally would use points to skip task like dust devils, firegiants, and greater demons. your stats are reasonably high. None of these 3 tasks are spectacular in any regard. Some ppl say dust devils have good crims, but, it's pretty average.

WGS Exp Reward.
Wil my current bank risking 350k on a seed that might not turn any profit (or might die) is a big risk. 350k is more than 10% of my cashpile......... do dailies man :P
-
which kuradel tasks to block?
kuradal assigns neither goraks nor terrorbirds :P but yeah go with vexn's effigyscape guide. You should also take a look at zarfot's master slayer guide, namely the section where slayer task frequency is logged.

Dungeoneering Tips and Tricks
Uh, I sense a lot of frustration towards bad DGers coming out of your guide. Which is fine, in the sense that the vast majority of DG guides have the same thing. but ultimately it's really distracting. getting rid of that tone would be one way to get yourself a step ahead of other existing DG guides.

Primal - Whats the point?
a change to the SSH would change the metagame a little too much. I'd rather jagex make the hood, or an equivalent item, easier to get but this is getting off topic :P

Primal - Whats the point?
tyranno bodies takes 2 dinos, at least. And you don't reap the benefit of a body until roughly halfway through a floor. Plate is only useful for running through rooms. if you're clearing rooms, you'll almost always be better off praying range, tanking mage hits, and safespotting melees. platebody is also a pain in combination with the hex. -10 ranged attack is pretty huge, considering the hexhunter's low existing range bonus. having to take it off when you want to range something is really a pain. whereas +33 range his a huuge benefit to the hexhunter. of course this is based around having a hexhunter.
-
Primal - Whats the point?
prim plate is better than blood neck every high level dunger i've been with has said that chun is just an idiot and trolling I'd say a sag body is better if you're not keying and you have a hex. blood neck is definitely under estimated. You really don't need any defense if you're not keying. but yeah melee armor is always best if keying.
