prim plate is better than blood neck every high level dunger i've been with has said that chun is just an idiot and trolling I'd say a sag body is better if you're not keying and you have a hex. blood neck is definitely under estimated. You really don't need any defense if you're not keying. but yeah melee armor is always best if keying.

jagex sucks at metagaming :P

I think the existence of the armor is justified for the atmosphere it brings to the game. There exists a set of armor that is both the best statwise, and looks cool. You could just have only a primal platebody, and no other primal items. All the tier 11 warriors could wear promethium everything except for primal platebody. And maybe jagex could change the graphics for the primal plate so it looks nice with full promethium or something. And functionally, the game would play the same. But it takes away a sort of feeling of completion and epic-ness of a game. Video games are all about atmosphere anyways. What makes God of War different from other Hack and Slash games? God of war makes you feel epic, others, less so. God of war has better atmosphere. What's the difference between Mourning's End 2 and Elemental Workshop? Both have you solving very annoying puzzles. One has you solving puzzles for a reward you know to be a giant troll (the body body) The other has you solving puzzles in a long abandoned temple, while being hounded by man eating shadows. Functionally, they're similar. But one *feels* better to play through. if a animating a complete set of armor can buy that feeling of epicness, then it is justified even if the player will not use it.

I hear rasolo fly fishing is faster than shilo. You sell the salmon/trout to rasolo, the general merchant instead of banking. the main problem is rasolo wanders around a lot. Sometimes, he's really close to the fishing spot Sometimes, he's not. maybe you could convince some alchers to trap him closer to the fishing spot for you.

they've never destroyed cannons :P

prom spear/primal spear vs prom 2h/primal 2h

It's not bad? But not great either. I prefer teams with a lot of hexes and surges. what monsters are stab-worthy? Dragons? Hexhunter is better on them. Demons? Hexhunter and surgebox are both better on these. Brutes? Surgebox is better. Hobgoblins? They aren't in occults-warped are they? and they don't have that much crush def. Hellhounds/Dogs? Primal 2h has like 50% accuracy with crush anyways, it's not quite worth it. Dogs are better to slash then they are to crush. I have like 80%+ accuracy on dogs with a primal b axe slashing my bad, i popped dogs into the same category as hellhounds. -
It's perfectly viable for a number of bosses. The cost is up to like ~800k gp/hour for endless firing. This pricetag is fine for bosses like TD's or DK's where you're not necessarily firing all the time. But you should expect to blow up as many as 2 per hour, even with 99 firemaking. It's far too expensive to use for training, unless you value your time at like 8-10 mil gp/hour from a prior calculation I did.

Zarfot does Cannon + chaotic maul. it's by far the fastest way. Cannon should actually have good accuracy while you're wielding the maul. Ice breath hits up to 500's though. of course you need to soulsplit nonstop.

Penguin hunters should carry something poison on them, that should dissuade pkers. Can you imagine if they tried to attack one hunter, then everyone took turns DDSing and poison darting them. That would probably put a stop to griefing. only if it's in multicombat :P anyways w60 penguins already had revenant hunters during the early hours after a penguin reset. I'd imagine that similar logic would hold. A few PKers can't hold against an organized team. Of course, a team of W60 wildy guardians probably wouldn't hold against a dedicated PKing clan, should they decide to crash penguins a certain week of the year. Bottom line is you don't need to risk anything to hunt wildy pengs. I still see people penguin hunting. A few dedicated W60ers would guard the penguin from PKers during a few active hours. and then the wildy penguins become free pickings for PKers for the rest of the week and during inactive hours. -

i wonder how much cash. If it were like 3mil+, it'd be interesting to see people firecape hunting, and liquidating the capes for profit. -

I'll definitely be hunting them. (wonder if they'll drop effigies ontop of the brawlers ;D) but yeah they might turn out to be great money, but probably crowded. -
RS wiki is correct in this case. They're the same speed. So, what would you recommend me to do for TDing? :o btw, ranger boots > d boots there, right? ty I prefer Dboots, since a steel titan deals most of the ranged damage. I also still like karils, but if it's too many xp splats then you should probably use something else.

faster, less damaging hits = more observation on the xp counter + less time to switch inb4 gremmy why did you list handcannon as VERY slow? it's the exact same firing speed as zaryte bow I thought it was quicker if set on rapid? handcannon on rapid is the same speed as zaryte bow on rapid likewise handcannon on accurate/longrange is the same speed as zaryte bow on accurate/longrange. the bottom line is if you can deal with the explosions and cost of ammo, +35 ranged strength is always more useful than +30-38 ranged attack. even on high defense monsters. and TD's don't even have that much defense. unless you have strange requirements like low max hit, which is why I liked karils.

Is it even worth it to get varrock armor 2 for 99 mining?
Grimy_Bunyip replied to FirenLazah's topic in Help and Advice
varrock 2,3 and 4 are worth it alone for battlestaffs. but yeah it is for mining. The chance for double ores is just over 10% according to rswiki. So that's about a 10% increase to your xp rate. -
It's only about ~6% more DPS though. I don't think that's worth interrupting steel titan specs though.
-
uh world gorger. the idea of a monster who damages you by slowly melting your intestines is just ew. but maybe that's not so scary if it's nothing a few salve eels can't fix :P
-
there's a suggestions section. and you should know that the timers listed are not the most accurate. They were the timers listed in the Jagex knowledgebase originally, but then removed from my understanding. So probably Jagex doesn't even take it too seriously. but if i had to say, jade vine takes about 16-20 hours to grow?
-
I consider karils xbow the way to go low max hit, just under 250 in my case. which is very handy for steel titans at TD's and because of it's fast firing rate, it has high DPS in spite of its low max hit, due to its firing rate (higher DPS than the zaryte bow) if you don't steel titan, handcannon is still better than zaryte bow. Only advantage of the zaryte bow is that it costs less money to fire, per hour, than say handcannon or karils xbow. But ultimately it is inferior to both in terms of damage rate. It's just ironic that the main advantage of such an expensive weapon, is that it saves you money.
-
Unless the boss has much more crush defense than slash/stab defense the maul will always be better DPS if the longsword is hitting with under 50% accuracy.
-
it's not even half the xp though maybe 5% of the xp?
