I used the guide Russet suggested, and don't worry if it takes you a few tries. Personally, it took about 7 or 8 tries before i finally killed him. :D

If you have a costume room in your house you can store the Lunar robes in there. You may or may not need it for a future quest.

Mine was firemaking, I started really training it when Jagex announced the firemaking update that was the "All Fired Up'' quest. I found it easy to train and decided to go for 99. :thumbsup:

clue drops are said to be completely random regardless of the monster you kill.

The best armor for taking on the KQ is full Verac's.

I used maples all the way to 99 and firemaking is one of the fastest skills to train. Beacons would be less boring, but they are nowhere near the amount of xp you would gain by simply lighting fires.

No, it doesn't matter which role you play. You get the same amount of potential per every round and a bonus at the queen. As for the clan, I have no idea.
