  2. 44 RC on Saturday November 18, 2006 at 9:06:10 PM EST - 70 RC on July 20, 2009 Haha (72 now)

  4. First of all, let's start off with some Jagex given facts. Fact 1. It was originally going to be a game on its own Fact 2. It has never been done in another MMO Fact 3. It will be a MASSIVE update with a whole new game mechanic Fact 4. Nothing directly related to the new skill is already in the game. The New Skill Will be: Sailing/Boating/Pirating/Buccaneering Based on facts 2 and 4 (and Jagex directly telling us it won't be). Necromancy Based on Facts 2 and 4. Necromancy is in WoW. Also, Necromancy is already in the game. Necromancy = Summoning. Bard/Music Based on Facts 2 and 4. We already have several instruments we can play such as those in the Cold War quest and the pianos in our POHs. Also, it is in Ragnarok Online. Engineering/Inventing/Science Based on Fact 2 Exploration Based on Fact 4. Sleuth Based on Fact 4. Archeology It is also in WoW. Based on Facts 2 and 4. Failing In this skill, it will begin with a quest. We will assist archaeologists uncover something they have found in the sand (after exploring the desert to find the site). It will be a damaged, ancient machine. Once we fix it, we see a musical staff where we have to play a song for it to turn on. Once we do that, the machine will spit out several life runes. We go to bed that night and the life runes have been stolen! We then use our detective skills to undercover who stole them. After this, we use the life runes to resurrect dead sailors who teach us about the sea. Quest Complete. Also, it was on on the high scores for five minutes after the mysterious power affected us, but it's not there anymore
  5. I was doing an herb run and I right clicked the Firemaking Master. I looked for it in the shops database and I did not find it.
  6. A new way to train prayer is coming out with it too. For all we know, bones could crash.
  7. I'll check. EDIT: Nope. It was a fair guess though.
  8. Go look for yourself. Make sure you're in HD on Full Screen or Wide Screen.
  9. I used the other Fairy Ring to get there lol.
  10. Check it out for yourself. Where do you think this will lead? Perhaps the TzHaar are opening their city to us finally?
  11. I was thinking more along the line of a crystal-ball movie theater room in one's house (similar to the bank robbery video), but that works too.
  12. Mods, if this is in the wrong section, please move it. If a thread similar to this already exists, please lock this. I know everyone wishes some things in RS would happen or wishes they never happened. Describe what your perfect RuneScape would be. Here's an example: -Free Trade (or at least a lax trade limit among long time friends) -Bring back the original Pest Control -RSC Cape -Bring Back the old Soul Wars -Spanish servers -Bring back unlimited shop stock -Ban Merch Clan Owners -Get rid of the 76k trick or PvP -More bank space depending on Total Level and Quest Points -Give FireMaking a useful purpose -Actually make money from or break even from skilling. -Get rid of name changing or always see your friends as their name when you added them Remember, this isn't a thread for debating. Just because you disagree with someone doesn't make them wrong.
  13. I wrote a Tips and Tricks guide about MEP2. Maybe it will help. MEP2 Tips and Tricks
  14. I have fond memories of running hurriedly through the field before sunset to get into the city before those zombie things came out. Yeah, me too. The Sun Song was one of my biggest priorities in that game because of those guys. :? I thought it was only me! And the episode of Catdog where they look through the telescope and it's doomsday. The cloud at the end scared me to death for years. Also: The Snake from Harry Potter. I was always convinced it would slither out of my closet and eat me  :uhh:
  15. So you want a quest cape, eh? If you want that shiny quest cape you better pay attention. You are about to embark on the longest and most difficult quest in RuneScape. Chances are, you've heard horrible things about this quest and you dread to even begin it. Before you even begin, you should have above and beyond the minimum requirements to complete the quest. You may even need several guides.[hide=Guides] - Better for Understanding Where you Should be Going - Using this guide, my Tips and Tricks begin at 00:10:00. Tip.It - Using this guide, my Tips and Tricks begin at Step 4. RuneHQ - Good Maps - Using this guide, my Tips and Tricks begin at Step 9[/hide][hide=Skills]70 Agility (the higher the better) 75+ Attack/Strength/Defence/HP HIGHLY recommended Seer's Diary Skills for Enhanced Excalibur: 80(-6) Fletching 80(-6) Cooking 76(-6) Fishing 75(-6) Firemaking 70 Prayer 60(-6) Woodcutting 55(-6) Magic 46 Summoning 40 Ranged 30(-6) Mining 13(-6) Farming 10(-6) Crafting (-6) indicates that Evil Dave Stews Can Be Used to Meet the Requirements.[/hide][hide=Quests]MEP1 Another Slice of H.A.M (Ancient Mace) Seer's Diary Quests for Enhanced Excalibur: Murder Mystery * Scorpion Catcher One Small Favour The Elemental Workshop I* Wolf Whistle Kings Ransom+Knight Wave Mini-Quest A Fairy Tale Part II: Cure a Queen * * You must complete only a portion of these quests[/hide][hide=Inventory and Equipment]-Helm: Neitiznot > Saradomin/Guthix/Zamorak Mitre > Proselyte Sallet -Cape: Spottier Cape > Spotted Cape > Saradomin/Guthix/Zamorak Cloak -Amulet: Saradomin/Guthix/Zamorak Stole > Holy Symbol > Fury > Glory -Weapon: Dragon Mace -Weapon 2: Ancient Mace -Weapon 3: Enhanced Excalibur -Shield: Falador Shield 3 > Falador Shield 2 > Holy Book > Rune Deffender -Body: Monk's Robe -Legs: Monk's Robe -Gloves: Penance Gloves > Barrows Gloves > Best RFD Gloves > Klank's Gauntlets -Boots: Boots of Lightness > Dragon Boots -Ring: Explorer's Ring 3 > Ring of Life > Berserker Ring For the inventory, you should immediately, drop the key, and set up the rope (see map). Inventory space is precious here as you need many mirrors. You will not need many prayer potions or many sharks if you have Ancient Mace and Enhanced Excalibur. Also, the Crystal Trinket in my inventory should be the (now white) Blackened Crystal for you. [/hide][hide=Useful Strategies]The Enhanced Excalibur will heal you 20 hitpoints as well as raise your defence (based on level)! As one can tell, this is extremely useful. That's like one free shark every 5 minutes (if you need any). The Ancient Mace Transforms the Damage You Do Into Prayer Points (as long as you are one less prayer point than your max e.g. 69/70) Protect From Melee is essential! The shadows may only be level 73 and have 15 hp but they can pack a punch. To make things easier, set Protect from Melee to your Quick Prayer so you can turn it on/off quickly. I shouldn't need to remind you of an amazing feature called Rest. If you are down a few hp, low on run energy, out of special, and happen to be near a safe spot (see map), REST!!! [/hide][hide=Map]Red Squares: Safe spots. Some of them are natural safe spots, while others are safe as long as nothing is following you. Blue Squares: Shadows (level 73) Missed by the Mapper Brown Blocks: Areas Shadows Cannot Pass and/or You Can't Unless the Door is "Open" Pink Lines: ALWAYS have PROTECT FROM MELEE on while running past the Dark Beasts! The above map is owned by Tip.It. I have made minor changes to it, but it is STILL property of Tip.It and may NOT be used anywhere outside of Tip.It or the Tip.It Forums.[/hide][hide=Little Tips/Useful Information]-To "open" a door, you must shoot a light of the opposite color on the Colour Wheel by redirecting light through pillars using mirrors and colored crystals to change the color of the light beam. -The light always starts from the pillar next to the lever (red square on the far east of the second floor on my map). -Drop the New Key once you make it through the door into the Slave Mine. You can always get a new one from searching the Head Mourner's desk. You will need the space, trust me. Drop the Colour Wheel and Journal as well. -Don't bother using Summoning. You have an unlimited source of HP and Prayer. There really is no point. -This quest truly is much, much better if you do it with a partner. Ask around your friends list if anyone is interested and can complete it. -Have sound effects on. Chances are, if you stop at a false safe spot to read/watch a guide, you WILL be attacked. -Buy the Death Talisman from the Grand Exchange instead of completing the Dwarf's annoyingly long list.[/hide][hide=F.A.Q.]Your questions will be answered to the best of my ability as I check the thread.[/hide]
  16. It's funny how close that was to TD's
  17. Typical RSOF Trolls (My Pictures; NOT Me): [hide=WARNING] [/hide] Pure Ulti876 = Two Fathoms (the famous event crasher) P3ace Mak3r = Four Fathoms
  18. Favorites: GOP, SC, Old PC, Impetuous Impulses, Jungle Clean Up, Penguin Hide and Seek, Rogue's Den (in that order) Least Favorites: FoG, BBA (both suck equally)
  19. Lol, love the HAM. Ty. I don't know why more people don't have it :?
  20. 1. MEP2 - Most confusing quest ever... even with a guide (3 guides*)... 2. Summer's End - Didn't die but I had so much trouble 3. Dream Mentor - The fight... 4. Back To My Roots - I swore to quit if I fell again at one point... 5. WGS - Balance Elemental was the worst fight EVER 6. Dealing With Scabaras - That memory puzzle... even with a pen and paper... 7. Contact! - The giant scarab... even with tank gear + p mage + super set... 8. DT - Only the ice part, to be honest 9. Horror From the Deep - Bear in mind I was a poor level 75 with 30 ranged -.- 10. Dragon Slayer (RSC) - No running, no running away, no eating in combat, no prayer, no magic, 1 ranged... fml

    Pures

I'm a pure. 90 defence is just a minor set back... On a more serious note, it is because most (not all) of them are cocky, arrogant, whiny, overall jerks who think they own the game and moan about quests giving defence xp. Also, they think they are all that for having expensive items when they just transferred money from their main (via old partyroom) or did the 26k trick. Not saying this describes any of you, but this is the average pure.
  22. AdBlock Plus  - FireFox is the best browser :D Bear in mind, it is against the rules if you're f2p :-w
