  1. If you're curious, Zarfot goes through all the calculations for prayers in his slayer guide on the RSOF In short, everyone should use 10%, and use piety if you value time at more than like 600k I personally used piety on tasks where the extra attack and/or def are really needed, like abyssals and waterfiends
  2. Cheaters, hackers, future ban recipients, whatever word you want to use for them
  3. why do the tip.it admins think it's necessary to protect the identity of scammers? The OP is doing us all a favor.
  4. Void is the way to go if you aren't on a slayer task. If you're lower level you can pray range, but if you're maxed piety is enough for unicorn to keep up with their damage. With this setup one can probably maintain 110 crims per hour consistently. Future edit: As someone mentioned below, the chaos tunnels are a lot better. I only use them now, with steel titan I've managed over 160 crims in an hour and with more profit.
  5. [hide=incorrect calculation]I was curious after seeing your geyser titan finding and did the calculation for fruit bats over unicorns and it appears that it is also not worth making unicorns for most players. To make unicorns instead of fruit bats, assuming you're exchanging the pouches, you spend an extra: .3*(140-130)*23+1101-70 = 1100gp for an extra 154.4-121.2 = 33.2xp Assuming conservatively at 40k summoning xp an hour which is attainable for people at probably 80+ summoning (Kent assumes ~44k), you should only make unicorns if you value time at 1325k. 35k an hour, 1159k[/hide]
  6. Higher leveled mobs, no doubt...
  7. You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. Any skill in this game, trained intelligently (read: efficiently), can go from 1 to 99 in a few months on no more than 2-3 hours a day. Maxed stats and 99 slayer which you mentioned can be achieved casually with relative ease if you have the patience. The amount of time someone chooses to play video games is entirely their own concern. China-style regulations are not the answer.
  8. "I don't use it, therefore no one else needs to." Can we please do away with this idiotic argument. You really have to be stupid to find it convincing.
  9. Anyone else sense the irony when the Jagex profanity was censored with [cabbage]? If you want your game to be identified as having older players you can start by not treating your players like children. HINT: get rid of the compulsory chat filter and ease up on your nazi-like abuse rules She's an adult and they have her consent, not too amazing.
  10. If training herblore is fun, then train it. If not then yea its a massive waste of money. I think you're overanalyzing this.

    Hard Work

If you're that worried about getting respect then you're no better than that cooking cape kid I don't understand people like you. You say its just a game, and then you get all excited about it. Take your own advice and settle down--it is just a game after all.
  12. sorry dude, merchanting clans are annoying but you're no better
  13. as someone already said, don't bother, just use barrows
  14. "And I'm not against adding level 91+ Slayer monsters. I'm opposed to the mentality that EVERY monster added should be that level." I don't think anyone is arguing that. They're saying there should at least be one 91+ slayer monster
  15. If you factor in boredom and capal tunnel, RC is much harder
  16. congrats, fiends are one of the best tasks you can get
  17. Depends how broadly you define "buyable". I suppose every skill is buyable in that you can spend money to get faster xp.
  18. 1. If something leaves no effects for us to observe, then it is functionally nonexistent and there is no point in discussing it. 2. Until there is evidence to support the existence of something outside the bounds of logic, it is functionally nonexistent and there's no reason to blindly speculate that one exists.
  19. Oh, this is what I was going off of, nevermind then. He can only average 50k combat xp an hour? I need to see this guide :
  20. You guys are easily annoyed You could always ignore them (adding them to your ignore list not requried)
  21. 60k combat xp is terrible Compared to what? Zombie monkeys? Armored Zombies? Then yes, it's terrible, but are we talking about greater demons v. other combat methods? No. We're talking about greater demons v. other slayer tasks. So when you consider that the average slayer xp/hour is 50k, well, is 60k good or bad? I'm not sure where you're getting your numbers, the only tasks that can hit 50k/hr are Dags and Bloodvelds (the latter barely). In Zarfot's guide he says he can get 21k/hr at greaters with piety and maxed stats under ideal conditions. I don't know of any slower tasks besides metal drags.
  22. im not sure what xp you mean, but 60k combat xp is terrible
