  1. Revised: 1. Having to call your pet into combat every single kill 2. People/Clans who exploit the GE by buying out/overloading the market. 3. "Lag" at the GE (and elsewhere) such that my clicks make my character run across the map. 4. Not enough high level content 5. Clues are a waste of time QFT.
  2. Exactly, one the main reasons I play this game over other MMOs is you don't have to deal with permanent races and classes. I suppse if the races were changeable I wouldn't have a problem with it. If you read the thread, you will see that it can be changed for 100,000 GP per race transform. If you read my second sentence, you will see that I am OK with that.

  4. Here are your maths: (raw xp/hr) / (1 + (cost/hr)/(value of time) ) = net xp per hour Assuming gilded altar with no pet (estimating ~900 sacs per hour) and time at 500k/hr at current ge mid prices: bones...net xp per hour dragon...... 34,123 baby drag.. 30,302 zogre ....... 29,328 big bones... 26,157 bones........12,180 1200 per hour and time at 1000k: bones...net xp per hour dragon...... 59,320 baby drag.. 45,889 zogre.........41,489 big bones... 33,673 bones....... 13,102
  5. If you're only making 200k an hour at green drags, there's something wrong.
  6. If Jagex wanted us to use the items we gain though primary skills like mining, fishing, etc. they would make it worthwhile to bank them, and they would make high level things like sharks worthwhile xp. But no they insist on giving the best training methods either low level rewards or placing them across the map from a bank.
  7. Very true, but remember that Unicorns are high in price (I think) considering its shard count, so unless you dont use Unicorns you should make them. Oh, you're totally right, I did not realize that sharding unicorn pouches was a big loss (of like 600gp). If you sell the pouches, the cutoff for unicorns over fruit bats is closer to 500k, so you should definitely make unicorns.
  8. That confused me when I read it too. I think he must mean the gp/time spent doing the actual farming is over 1m per hour. I don't farm so I don't know if that is even accurate.
  9. So wait, after spending thousands of hours in SC, you're gonna use an afk method with the sc armor which you have to replace every 20 minutes and not a reasonable method that would take like 1/10 the time?
  10. I didn't even notice lol tbh, everything else pales in comparison to how annoying that wolverine ad was, remember that?

  12. Exactly. So you can use their idiotic afk method constantly, or you can plank make 1 hr a day and get the same xp.
  13. In the time it took you to notice, be outraged, create a collage of images, and post about the noob afker you could have earned as much xp as he does in an entire night. why do you care? The reason this "problem" is hard to solve is because there is no problem to begin with.
  14. Inflation has been high this summer, but nothing goes up 100% in a month without help from a merchant clan. In this case, a group of idiots--who for some reason bought out one of the easiest items to obtain in the game-- led by a genius who is about to get rich off their ignorance.
  15. Prayer flashing requires wayyy more attention than I care to pay to this game.
  16. guy who complained about animations http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xj_NVDQ_c0s
  17. Lol, if were following the pattern of ~1000 kill tasks instead of 130-199, it would be 20-40 dragons, and like 250-500 goraks, but it sounds like you solved your own problem anyway.
  18. I don't see why anyone would oppose this, if you don't want larger tasks, use the lower level trainer. More options is always a good thing. so?
  19. No, the only reasonable way to train prayer is to bury bones, which are valuable tradeable items. Yea you could farm bones and use them but then you lose the money you could have made by selling them. There's no way around it, the best way to train prayer is to do whatever activity makes money the fastest for you, and buy the bones.
  20. It's obvious to everyone that skillcapes affect the economy, but there's absolutely no way to tell how much of an effect they have or whether the effect is necessarily bad. The only other argument I see is that skillcapes make your 99 less respectable, which I think is self-discrediting. Think about it, how hard was it for you to make that bow? You did two clicks and 1 second later out popped the bow. You can't think of these things in terms of their real life counterparts. Now if ingame it took an hour to fletch each bow, you would probably make a decent profit. Correct, and in the time you spent walking you earned: whatever xp you gained from the item and whatever amount of money it is worth over its raw materials. If you spend very little time on the item (or it rewards a lot of xp), you might end up losing money. Part II: It sounds to me like people aren't complaining about skillcapes, but are upset with a flaw in the game where secondary skills aren't profitable, and you are (inaccurately) blaming skillcapes for the discrepancy. First of all, you guys overlook runecrafting, the most profiable skill and a secondary skill! To make all secondary skills profitable I propose that they make them more like RC: 1- speed up the rate of collecting raw materials and slow down the rate of crafting them. The latter might include increasing the level requirements to craft high level items (or make high level players craft them more quickly a la RC). The former would definitely include making it good xp to gather high level raw materials. 2- increase demand (this might mean you have to raise alchemy values)
