Wow. Somebody sure got the most out of their membership fee. Almost makes our crippling RS addiction seem like reasonable temperance, doesn't it?

"Probably" nothing, the new outfit is the nicest clothing F2P has gotten since the Runecrafter's robes when GOP was released. Hopefully CCF3 will give us matching gloves and boots. I just hope Jagex haven't set themselves too high of a bar for event rewards, but I guess we'll just have to wait until Halloween to find out.

Excellent news everyone. Today I have taken yet another step towards the end of my long journey. Level 97!!! :twss: [spoiler=woot!] Not bad for three weeks, eh? Nice to see the new ancient effigies have some pretty high level content. Only two levels left to go, and about the same amount of Xp left as I started with at level 81. :thumbsup: There is a small problem though, that I only noticed today. Apparently the addition of the Dungeoneering also added 1 to my overall level, meaning my plan to reach 99 Mining and 900 overall has gone a bit sideways. Not much to be done about it at this point but move forward. I'll just get 901 overall with my 99 Mining.

Hopefully soon. When I heard about this, I started reconsidering my plan to buy a month's membership and get a cape when I get 99 Mining.

I voted for the Bone Brooch, with the mummy costume a close second. I'd love to have an Easter egg-like item and I've got plenty of holiday costume items sitting with Diango as it is (limited F2P bank space :wall: )

Anisotropic Filtering would be useless to RuneScape as it has such a small viewing area. It also disallows the use of Anti-Aliasing, so even if it was added, I don't think people would choose AF over AA. I certainly wouldn't. Besides, does RuneScape even have Oblique Camera Angles? It doesn't disable anti-aliasing, at least when enabled with ATI Catalyst Control Center. And I can see a clear difference between 0x and 16x AFed RuneScape. The only difference I could see was sharper ground texture resolution away from the character.

It does protect them from other people. It prevents young and inexperienced-at-life players from being tricked by older players just trying to take advantage of them. Granted, that's not been much of a worry since Jagex imposed the trade limits, but could still be exploited by nefarious individuals with less than pure intentions while playing a game full of kids who are barely teenagers. There are a lot of creepy people in the world, and a lot of young (and old) people who think the internet makes them completely anonymous and safe so they give out personal details to people who really shouldn't have them. It's my theory that the quick chat age restrictions aren't to prevent other people from saying the wrong thing to you, they're to prevent you from saying the wrong thing to other people.

So yesterday morning I logged in like usual, and saw the strangest thing... [spoiler=...the hell?] Somehow my wonderful blue mask was now a red one. At first I was a little shocked. "Did someone hack my account just to give me a more expensive mask?" I wondered. Then I looked at it a little more closely. [spoiler=weird] Somehow the game had glitched and was displaying my mask as red instead of blue. I asked around the G.E. and it was displaying red to other players as well, but otherwise was being treated as a blue mask by the game. *shrug* Oh well, as far as bugs go this is a pretty tame one. I figured I'd make the best of it in the meantime and went to Diango to get some of my old holiday items to match my recolored mask. [spoiler=color coordination ftw!] Not bad, eh? If they weren't so damned expensive right now, I might try to go buy a red mask to wear at Christmas. So I went mining like this for about 45 minutes 'till the server updated again, and afterward my mask was once again it's original blue. So there it is friends, the tale of my brief brush with a harmless graphical glitch. :^_^:

first of all: is it f2p? second:can he note salmons and trouts because i just bought like 6000 feathers :blink: 1 - As Sonic said, it is F2P. I've done it myself. 2 - No. He only notes tuna, lobsters and swordfish both raw and cooked.

It's all about pronunciation. Your way rhymes with "rung", my way rhymes with "grunge". One is crap, the other many people just think is crap.

There's an NPC on Karamja that will note tuna, lobster and swordfish (cooked or raw) for you so you don't have to leave the island. Not the fastest xp, but good money.
