There was no need to rest as run energy recharged while mining. Method (2): Mining Guild - powemining coal Results (2): 20600 Xp/60 minutes, W21 w/700-800 people I used the same 8-rock pattern for both runs. Also, I found that the number of people in the world didn't seem to matter because by the time I'd completed the pattern, the first couple of rocks had always respawned.

I like Harper a lot more than any of the last three PM's we've had. He spent a lot of his time a junior politician learning how to work the system and get things done, much to the chagrin of his political opponents. The decision to prorogue Parliament is just another calculated move on his part to further his agenda while presiding over a minority government. Personally, I'm glad that he will be filling the vacant Senate seats with Conservatives. The Senate has been controlled by the Liberals for decades (mainly because Senate appointments are for life). As for the detainee situation, proroguing Parliament does mean that he will most likely avoid having to deal with it directly, but also allow him to avoid a potential vote of non-confidence which, if Liberals and PQ (and possibly NDP) joined forces, he might lose which would cause the dissolution of Parliament and yet another vote (it's been less than 2 years since the last one...). The problem isn't that Harper is trying to avoid dealing with the torture allegations, it's that so many people within Parliament are more concerned with getting in to power than ensuring our government works properly. Which, by the way, was the reason he called the last election early despite his own promise not to. A minority government is operating from a position of weakened power to begin with and Harper has done an excellent job so far of working the system to his advantage allowing him to get things done despite the best efforts of his opponents. Also, the CBC, a publicly funded and run news agency, is notorious for reporting political stories from a blatantly Liberal slant, so I'm quite sure that the whole story has not been presented.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Here we are, a brand new year and a brand new blog entry with a brand new level! [hide=Level 95!][/hide] I can hardly believe how far I've come. Level 81 seems but a distant memory at this point. Mining glory will be mine this year, I can feel it in my bones. My trusty pickaxe quivers with anticipation for the honor it will bring me. I've been helping Zaaps1 get Xp rates for his Mining Guide, so progress will be a bit slower for next few days. It's a reasonable loss though. His guide is excellent and will help many novice miners achieve their goals. Besides, I may just find a more effective way of training in the process. :thumbup: I'm also going to be making at least monthly entries on my merching progress. My wealth continues to grow daily and I wish to share my success with (read: brag to :lol: ) all of you. [hide=Here is where I am today][/hide] I made over 12M this month, and 10M in just under 3 weeks. I also had the first of what will, hopefully, be many 1M+ days to come. I never imagined I'd be making 1M gp in one day without mining Runite so I'm very pleased with my success so far. Dare I even hope to be able to purchase a coveted White Partyhat by the end of the year? :ohnoes: It's not outside the realm of possibility, but for now it's one day at a time. Finally, I want thank everyone for coming with me on my journey so far. It's been a long road and there is much left to do, but having your support and friendship makes even the most impossible task seem achievable. Happy New Year to you all. :grin:

Forum Name: Kaida23 Desired Name for Credits: Kaida23 Method (2): F2P powermining iron in Rimmington Equipment (1): Rune Pickaxe Results (2): 36050 Xp/60 minutes Powermined 3 iron rocks, W10 w/1500-1600 people, minor competition at the beginning but few losses, no randoms, no need to rest or recharge run energy. I can try and get a 2-rock result for you as well, but it's only effective for training if you're in a completely full world at which point it's Xp rate falls between my two methods (aprox. 33-34k/hour, I had exact numbers from when I started my blog but I deleted them... :wall: ). Since the run energy update, I wouldn't recommend it unless you're in an off-peak timezone and it's easy to find a free spot.

I also get similar Xp/hour doing this on worlds with 400-600 people. I'll try and get a 3-rock rate on a 1400+ world. I think it may give higher Xp/hour.

Remember it? I logged into W1 Varrock west bank once (pre-G.E. of course) and it crashed my computer! :wall: I was never able to buy/sell in heavily populated worlds.

The web maze was frustrating, wasn't it? If you're having a problem with lag, don't do the event on the first day it's released. I usually wait a few days and do it when there are fewer people there. No lag issue, and they've usually corrected any problems that people find on the first day (like not being able to see the NPCs this year).

I'm sorry, did we suddenly start talking about a different game? How can the fact that F2P does not have a "boss" monster make it any less viable? This is RuneScape, not WoW or MapleStory. A large portion of the RS population does more than simply fight monsters, and a large portion of that prefer to train non-combat skills. Did i say that everyone was a monster hunter? No i did not. But there is more than just skillers in F2P. No, you did not say that everyone was a monster hunter, but your statement implied that combat or monster hunting is the primary reason to play the game. I agree that there are more than just skillers in the game and that's what makes RuneScape so unique. It's the amount of things that a player can do, in either F2P or P2P, that makes it engaging.
