On the recommendation of a clanmate, I just finished watching Angel Beats! and I'm about halfway through Air Gear. I've really enjoyed them. The story lines and character development are enjoyable (although Angel Beats! was a bit too short to develop them completely), and the accompanying music is excellent (I don't care if it's in Japanese or not, good music is good music :thumbup:). Especially in Angel Beats! where the piano does this dissonant, pounding, jump back and forth from left to right thing during dramatic moments. Very cool. I'm glad I was watching it on my laptop using headphones. That's the kind of thing I would have totally missed watching it on my TV.

They just did a system update to correct this. You should be able to log in now.

The other is a production skill, but they wont necessarily be connected. It would make sense for them to be, though. Hopefully some at least one of them will be available to non members. :)

Not to be picky, but you made a small mistake updating my entry on the list. My total is 1110, not 1100.

I didn't check exact numbers, but I based on level up pics from before and after (fortunately showing my xp counter) I estimate that I gained an approximate total of 1.5M xp over the weekend, which means I gained ~300,000 bonus xp. That's twice the amount of Prayer xp I gained, and my Prayer went up 8 levels. :o

Glad to hear you got it sorted. :thumbup: F2P Runespan is pretty much as wormy described it, but functionally it's the same as on members worlds (ie: drain creatures to get runes and ess, drain nodes for better xp). You'll find the xp rates are slower than P2P, but still incredibly fast compared to crafting at the altars.

A couple of years back I no-life'd mining Runite for an entire weekend to get enough money to buy a Blue Halloween Mask. I'd play for 5-6 hours, stop for something to eat and get right back to it. I figure I played for 16-18 hours a day both days. ...and have rarely mined Runite since! :lol:

It is, but it's a bit trickier since new characters are pretty much forced into the trial. I haven't done this personally, but as I understand it the trick is to not log in right away when you make a new character. Exit and then go back to the login screen and log in normally and pick a F2P world. That way you're not immediately dropped into Taverly or Burthorpe or where ever. The general consensus is that as long as you don't log into a members' world during the trial, you're still pure F2P (mileage may vary, the whole membership trial is a pretty sticky issue for some people). The other option, of course, is to make a new character and not log in at all for two weeks until the trial expires. But who could resist playing for two weeks? ;) btw - Welcome to TIF! :)

Yikes! Has it really been two weeks since I posted here last? I guess I've been busier than usual. :oops: However, as I'm sure many of you know, I've not been idle in RS. No, quite the opposite. I gained several Magic and Smithing levels: [hide=85 Magic] [/hide] [hide=87 Smithing] [/hide] [hide=86 Magic and 77 Combat] [/hide] Then did the updated Doric's quest, "What's Mine is Yours": Which wasn't nearly as impressive as "Stolen Hearts", but nice nonetheless. I really liked the back story they added to Doric's character. I just wish non-members were able to do more of the post quest tasks. I could have used that extra Smithing xp. :( Speaking of which, I gained a couple more Smithing and Magic levels before and during the bxp, and bypassed total level 1100! :grin: [hide=88 Smithing] [/hide] [hide=87 Magic] [/hide] [hide=89 Smithing and 1100 total!] [/hide] [hide=88 Magic and 78 Combat] [/hide] But my biggest gains during the bxp were in Prayer. I wasn't going to spend money on big bones, but after speaking with a couple of my clanmates, I decided to give it a try and before I knew it I'd bought enough to gain several more levels. :o [hide=53 Prayer] [/hide] [hide=54 Prayer] [/hide] [hide=55 Prayer] [/hide] [hide=56 Prayer] [/hide] [hide=57 Prayer] [/hide] [hide=58 Prayer] [/hide] [hide=59 Prayer] [/hide] [hide=60 Prayer and 79 Combat] [/hide] As you can see, I made excellent use of the bonus weekend. I figure it saved me nearly 1M gp in big bones. :thumbsup: I tried as best I could, but ended the bxpw about 70k xp short of another Smithing level which I got earlier tonight. [hide=90 Smithing] [/hide] Superheating Rune bars has been not only killer xp, but is insanely profitable. I've gained about 40M since starting and I'm up over 130M now. \:D/ I think I might take a break from Smithing for a bit to do some other stuff. I still want to get Dungeoneering and Crafting up to at least 70 to bring all my non-combats up to 70+. Wow, this ended up being a LOT longer than I intended. I really need to start posting updates in a timely fashion again. Of course, that's easier said than done with me. :P

That sucks. The same thing happened to Sonic, and, like you, it seems the only thing he did wrong was live in China (but I think he's having better luck in recovering his account). Jagex better pull their heads out of their asses on this one and realize that not everyone who lives in China is a gold farmer. <_<

Got a couple of Smith and Magic levels, but my big gain was 52-60 Prayer using big bones. The bxp saved me nearly 1M cash. :thumbsup:

It's definitely not on their agenda. They removed several servers after last year's bot nuke as a cost cutting measure because worlds were so underpopulated.

In Canada, Bell pretty much has a monopoly on phone services (don't kid yourselves, they really do) and can charge what ever the Hell they want. <_<

It saved me about 1200 big bones on my trek from 52 to 60. :grin:

Yeah, I heard a lot of people are experiencing server lag. From what I can tell it seems to mostly be affecting members. I wonder why.

Congrats on 95 Crafting! :thumbsup: Personally, I haven't been able to run on anything but OpenGL for some time now. Welcome to the club! :P
