No more randoms? Dag. Now I'll have to train Prayer properly. :P I don't like that the holiday events are leaning more and more towards members. It used to be that everyone could get the rewards, then they started introducing a special members-only reward every so often, then during every event, and now non-members only get a cape? What happened to the holiday events being fun diversions to bring the community together? I don't see why. I'm sure pretty much everyone already has every piece of random outfit clothing that they would have wanted. As long as they don't take the random outfits I already have away and try to make me pay for them, they can do what they want.

Yeah, but how many of those are around anymore? ;) I only know of one and, sadly, she doesn't play anymore. Rimmongton has really changed since I was there last. I wish it had looked that good when I was no-lifing there. :P

A ridiculous amount of CW games as a comp cape requirement means games full of max players just standing there.

Like most F2P pures, I always use mine on Prayer. My last three levels were from nothing but xp lamps.

Exactly. I got the impression from the BTS that it would be. How many members are going to train on goblins? Especially for low level rewards.

You're very welcome. :) I just noticed that you said you messed up on your name. You can change your display name to correct that if you like. Just click on the dropdown next to your name at the top of the page and select "my settings". On the new page that comes up, select "display name" and adjust it accordingly.

I used to play MapleStory as well. The graphics were the thing that drew me in the most, but ultimately I was turned off of it because of the exceedingly high number of bots/hackers and the poor community attitude I experienced while in-game. In all my time playing RS I have never had someone follow me from world to world spouting obscenities at me because I got a rare drop that they didn't, unlike one of the last times I played MS and got a Maple Scorpio (which, as a polearm warrior was exactly what I was hoping for). It completely tainted an otherwise lucky day. <_< In my experience, that kind of thing was the rule and not the exception. Kill stealing, drop rage, draconian rules that punished not only bots/hacks but would also regularly punish those around them...maybe one day I'll go back, but I doubt it will be anytime soon.

I'd gotten the impression that the Goblin Village update was going to be available to non-members as well. But, obviously, that's not the case. The reworked Doric's quest looks interesting. I can't wait to get home and give it a try. :)

She recently got 92 Smithing, btw. Congrats again, Glacy! Speaking of leveling up, last night brought levels aplenty! A couple of random xp lamps brought me this: [spoiler=52 Prayer] And a couple thousand Rune bars brought me these: [spoiler=86 Smithing] [spoiler=84 Magic and Combat 76] I'm getting 50-60k smith and magic xp/hr, so it's probably going to be a couple more days before I gain any more levels. I'm averaging 1000-1100 bars an hour, which I figure is pretty good. I've heard upwards of 1500 is possible, but those people must be crazy fast to be able do it. Or maybe just plain crazy. :lol: Now it's back to turning piles of rock into pretty blue bars, and turning those into piles of pretty gold coins. :P
