I have over 99k iron ores after getting 99 Mining, so I bought enough nats and coal to turn it all into steel bars and I was wondering if it was worth it to get a coal bag. I'm planning on superheating ores all the way to 99 Smithing.

As far as I know the only stage of Optimus that has been released was to optimize fps for as many people as possible. The main chunk of it to deal with the remaining bots is yet to come, so soon there will (hopefully) be none. You've picked a good time to return. :thumbup:

Woodcutting. :lol: Seriously though, just pace yourself. Don't do too much all at once. Mining is a pretty dull skill in F2P so break it up with other stuff. With only an hour a day, you'll gain over 1M xp in a month and could have 99 less than a year. And that's without urns or focusing on getting max xp/hr.

Worth and waste are relative when it comes to spending one's disposable income. NukeMarine doesn't strike me as the kind of person to have spent that much if he couldn't have afforded to. Don't think of it as paying money to not play the game, think of it as paying to get to the parts of the game you want to play. Yes it's similar to botting; the difference being that this is legal within the ToS. We may not like it, but there's no getting rid of it.

It might even be more than that. Weren't there 4 updates in May alone? Collecting data on common/uncommon/rare/super rare odds is still a good idea, it will just apply to different items with each update. I think the only time they really changed the chances of getting an item was when they did the tattoo/horns update.
