Repel Amulet
Yes, Crim, some monsters are meant to be "annoying," as you say. I think a better word is "unmanageable." However, that's done to provide balance. For example, the wild dogs at the Karamja dungeon prevent rangers from taking the place over. They already had plenty of good training areas when this dungeon was added. I'm sure there are other good examples of this. So, I'd say no on this ammy, especially if it was meant to repel ALL creatures below your level and if it had any combat bonuses whatsoever. If it was just for some creatures and that's it, then I guess I could see it happening. lpinkus

finding starting prices
The information about shop prices adjusting themselves is already available at the runescape site, athough not in-game. As far as that info and the starting prices being in-game, I do think it's nice to help beginners. However, a big part of starting out is about dying, spending too much on an item, selling something you should have kept, etc. Those learning experiences are worth a lot more than the items thelmseves. I understand your concern about scamming, and I'm all for pointing out scams like the chocolate bomb, gnome eyeball, etc., but, if a player is willing to spend "x" gp on item "x," then that's not actually a scam. lpinkus

Wildy Kill Counter.....
Guys, I'm sorry I even brought up NY's name. I was not referring to 9/11, by the way, just a silly sports thing, so please don't bug him anymore abou his name. Sorry, NY, man. Didn't mean to mess up your topic. As I've already said, I like the counter as long as JAGeX likes it :) lpinkus

Unarmed training for magic and ranged
Reread what you just said. UNARMED melee. UNARMED. You need no inventory spot for your fists/feet. Come to think of it, you already can pick up rocks and chunks of rocks, as found at the digsite. If you want "throwing rocks," stackable or not, they oughta be in the inventory. Like I've said twice now, everything else in runescape (except unarmed melee) works this way; pick up, use. Again, it can't be just like unarmed mellee as far as I'm concerned. And, if you want snowballs, too, sure! But guess what? Yup. First you pick up the snow, then select "form snowball," (I bet some of you will want crafting xp for that), then "wield snowball" or "use snowball with/throw snowball at noob87763." I already said I like this ranging idea, but not the magic one. Still, it needs this extra step or the xp comes too easy, even if it's minimal. lpinkus

New maple trees are kinda ugly
I think it's lovely :) I assume it will change back to the way it was, tho, when farming becomes commonplace. lpinkus

Unarmed training for magic and ranged
I understand what you said. I'm saying that it's not likely to be implemented since it's different than any other form of attack. Runescape takes a lot of clicking, as you may have noticed :) lpinkus

Gentleman Suggestions - Top Hats, Canes and Costumes
Ok then :) I think your idea is fine. If there were ever new costumes such as these, they'd probably come out during holidays. See the original :) lpinkus

Wildy Kill Counter.....
Yeah, I think that's a big reason for this not happening. 'Scapers are usually very "proud" of their levels and items, thus flaunting party hats and such. I'm sure players would do the same with kill counts, whether or not they were visible in-game or only in the high scores. I don't PK, tho, so I really wouldn't mind if this idea was implemented. Massacre, does the NY stand for New York? lpinkus

Wildy Kill Counter.....
I'm all for the PKills counter, but I'm not sure I like your name :) I think I'll leave it at that, tho :) lpinkus

Beggars at any level...
It all depends how and how OFTEN someone asks. If someone says to me, "Hey man, do you have an extra weapon you don't need? I just died and most of my gp," I might help. I'd at least say, "Sorry many, I really don't." Any further asking is begging and annoying, in my optinion. That being said, I was pickpocketing heroes yesterday when a guy asked me, "Hey, can you steal me a gem?" I said, "Sure, why not" and I did it. He was very appreciative. I did mention to him that he shouldn't ask too much for similar favors, or he might be considered a beggar. He was cool with that, and we went on to talk really nicely for 20 minutes. lpinkus

Gentleman Suggestions - Top Hats, Canes and Costumes
Then I highly reccomend you see the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971), starring the brilliant Gene Wilder as Wonka. A great film. The original and the coming remake are both based on Roald Dahl's book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (1964). lpinkus

Unarmed training for magic and ranged
I like this idea, to prevent the red dots. Crim, your thing about "at no point would they be in your inv" doesn't fly, I think. There's nothing like that in the game so far. You chop logs, then light/fletch with them. You pick a sword in your inv, then wield it, you pick up runes, then use them for spells, etc. The invenory system is very clean as is; changing it so someone can throw stones doesn't make sense. lpinkus

Trademarks
Yup, that's what I pay my 5 for :) lpinkus

The limit of all the skill should be 1500 instead of 99
"Worse" in terms of being feasable, maybe, but they both provided a ton o' laughs :) lpinkus

Gentleman Suggestions - Top Hats, Canes and Costumes
Ok then, I have questions... Can you attack with the canes? I assume the answer is yes, so how strong are they compared to other weapons? Does the gentlemanly clothing provide any bonuses? What are those bonuses? Jewelery, same question. I guess there already are things in Runescape that are just for show, so I would have no problem with more of it. That is, as long as it doesn't end up getting linked to a quest, because I don't want to dress up like Johnny Depp in that pic :) lpinkus

time for new games
I'm sure that farming will prove useful in time. I bet herblore seemed the same way when it came out, but now making potions is extremelly useful. JAGeX knows what they're doing, and they're doing a good job IMO. lpinkus

Random drops from random events
Sorry, but no, they don't "need" better drops. The random event, as we have already said, is primarily meant to stop autoers. Any drops you might get from killing a zombie, golem, shade, etc., are just a bonus. And, that's if you choose to kill it. You may just assume you'll get nothing good, which is most of the time, and just walk/run away for 5 seconds. And finally, why do you think you only gain 1 xp for each accurate attack you make during a random event, regardless of how much damage it does? It's because if it were an autoer, JAGeX does not want to give any cheap xp to an autoer. Anyways, I don't mean to be so harsh, but if you want good drops, there are TONS of monsters and NPCs out there. Go get em :) lpinkus

time for new games
That's another good call, Sam. Way to think ahead. I don't agree that there's "no reason not to" make new games, tho. JAGeX has plenty to concern themselves with, so I don't think new games are gonna happen anytime soon. lpinkus

time for new games
I know nothing about programming an online game, but I assume it would be near impossible to make this happen. lpinkus

Trademarks
I agree. Since every rune kite/long/helm, etc., is the same, I don't see why JAGeX would take the time to program the ability of "trademarking" smithed items. I could definitely see this if players had the ability to make their own armor/weapons that had unique bonuses or colors and such. However, that's never been a part of Runescape, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. lpinkus

New maple trees are kinda ugly
I don't know how to pull it off. Can anyone else do it? I know you guys are better at it than I :) lpinkus

Houses.
Not nice :) Don't worry, tho, those of you like me who only have a mil or less. We'll be able to get houses, too. And it won't be easy for anyone, rich or poor. lpinkus

Houses.
That's basically the way I figured houses would be. Otherwise, there would be waaaay to many houses to walk past/navigate through. Good call. lpinkus

Beggars at any level...
The Question: What is the highest level you've seen begging? The Story: I was fighting jellies at the Fremmy slayer cave, since I had just made 52 slayer and was curious about them. Now, I'm a modest level 87 combat, and a level 79 player shows up. He's also wearing black dragonhide; I'm wearing blue. He's hitting just about as good as me, too, strength seems to be high. Now, the twist. He walks right up to me and says, "Can I have your mith boots, plz?" I'm pretty nice to everyone, so I said, "Why would I just give away my boots, man?" He replied, "Come on, I really need them. Be a friend." I say, "I'd sell them, man, not give them away, and I'm not planning on sellling them right now." The Moral: Sadly, it seems that there are (insert that word I hate here, it rhymes with "moobs") of all levels. I wouldn't say that this was a revelation to me, but I was really surprised by these actions of a level 79 as opposed to a level 29. I'd be interested to hear similar stories. lpinkus
