  1. Oh. That's interesting. I'd prefer a choice between lumbridge or ardougne, but I digress :) lpinkus
  2. Agreed :) Although I think it's: who's playing *whose* game? :) lpinkus
  3. Maybe, but I checked and it wasn't a sticky. It should be. I think such info has to be more obvious to a forum browser. lpinkus
  4. I don't really think this trade screen change is necessary, but it seems awfully easy to be a "moron" these days :) At every level plateau, there are things to possibly do wrong. And, when someone does, there's always an oh-so-slightly higher lvl there to say, "you moron," or even that dreaded word (you know what I mean) which oughta be banned. Lighten up! Few people would be so quick to badger someone in real life if they, say, tripped and fell. If you would laugh at that guy, shame on you. Well, most of that wasn't on topic. So... Why not start a thread about the most common scams that are arising instead of waiting JAGeX to code a new trade screen system? Just recently I've noticed many players trying to sell Eye of Gnome for 250k and lockpicks for 100k. I think being informed is the best prevention for being scammed. lpinkus
  5. I think they also care about continually adding to/improving the game, so that members *stay* members. It's a business for them, remember. They make money, but you get a fun game to play. JAGeX does an excellent job producing Runescape, as far as I'm concerned. For five dollars a month, one can play a game that manages to be similarly interesting to other OLG that cost much more to purchase/subscribe to. I find the idea that JAGeX is conspiring ridiculous. lpinkus
  6. It's humorous to read, but would be terribly annoying if implemented. lpinkus
  7. Actually, it's "L" pinkus, but I understand the confusion with the lowercase "l" vs. "i." And you're welcome :) lpinkus
  8. I play every day, but I gotta ask: New spawning point in Fally? Explain. Thanks. lpinkus
  9. Yup. Which is why nothing like this would happen unless JAGeX was very, very careful about it. lpinkus
  10. Fine by me. I think being able to craft brass necklaces is perfectly good for low-xp. lpinkus
  11. Agreed. This has been suggested, and the value of such a staff (i.e. nature) would be unbelievably high. Also, remember that the current staffs are based on the four elemental runes. lpinkus
  12. Yeah, not a great idea. AND, if you do die, even from bad luck, you find ways to deal with it. I lost a rune kite a while back, got bummed, but then realized I could get money to buy another rather quickly by theiving and such. Losing items should make one a better player. lpinkus
  13. And a possibility of autoers would introduce...new random events! A lot of zealous posts about that lately, anyway. lpinkus
  14. Why in the world would anyone say that? Weird. lpinkus
  15. It's actually....not that bad. Anyways, it's feasible. I think players would have to use it at their own risk. Also, this item might make problems at popular training areas. lpinkus
  16. You should be a member whenever you feel like paying the five bucks. I became one at 50 or so, but if I started another account, I'd become a member from the get-go. lpinkus
  17. If it was called a "fire cape" or "water cape" etc., I'm pretty sure JAGeX would make it so they affected stats. If you just want a new, flashy, red and yellow cape, then by all means sew one. I'll just say, "sew what?" Oh, boy. lpinkus
  18. I think you have to take a step back and think whenever you get an idea like this. JAGeX does a very good job, in my opinion, to make things hard enough to make the game challenging , but interesting enough to keep it fun. You even recognized an important potential problem yourself-the coal hoarding. Also, I'm pretty sure there is plenty of money in the game. lpinkus
  19. Um, why not copy and paste it here so that we can use these forums to discuss your mining idea? lpinkus
  20. I am anti-rare, but I do recognize that they have "stabilized" the runeconomy. Still, I must say this to said people who would lose billions: tough noogies. If you make an investment in an item which obviously has no gameplay value, you shouldn't be surprised if the programmers decide to nix them or make them untradeable. Not that that's going to happen in this OLRPG. :) lpinkus
  21. That's a bad assumption. Whether you argue pro-rare or anti-rare, you can't assume that one side are jerks or that the other can't afford them. This issue needs tolerance. I can afford them, and I don't want one. lpinkus
  22. Honesty is a commendable trait :) And we were all/will all be level 42 once, so don't let anyone disparage you. lpinkus
  23. Yay! Converted another person to become neutral. Created another follower of Guthix! Power through balance! I figured you'd see that sooner or later :) But before you notch that victory on your belt, I hereby assert that I am still very much anti-rare. I just don't care much anymore. And I'm really more of a Saradomin kinda guy. Interesting what you said about JAGeX not wanting people to buy xp. lpinkus
  24. I think that's pretty clever, actually :) JAGeX does reccomend and prefer that people don't go AFK, but this might be feasible. lpinkus
  25. But what if you're a courteous player who's shy? Think of all those poor, coquetttish players! lpinkus
