  1. Sorry, but I disagree. The JAGeX staff is very intelligent, otherwise we wouldn't be playing so much RS and having discussions about it :) lpinkus
  2. Do the horns on med look like freaking bull horns??? Jagex is already working on full helm..... R u sure? I bet it's all designed and ready to go, even the stats. They just have to pick the right time to introduce it. lpinkus
  3. Yes, but I'm sure it can come from clicking, too. I'ma pianist, and it can definitely come from playing the piano the wrong way. I've been lucky, tho. I guess that makes think about my hands alot, thus I would really like the drop all as I described it. lpinkus
  4. I don't mind the "unarmed" ranging thing. I put the "unarmed" in quotes, because you'd still have to wield the rocks, etc. However, no on the magic. A major tenet of RS is that casting a spell requires runes. Buying or crafting runes is thereore necessary, even if it's difficult at first. I'm a very modest 61 mage and I hardly work on it. Looking back, I never thought I'd have the desire to reach 30, but I did. lpinkus
  5. OK then, I'll give it a go... How about Diango saying, "I'm also selling houses! Would you like to purchase a player-owned house?" Then, it turns out it's a toy house (like the Barbie dream house, for example) where you can store goblin and dark wizard action figures. Oooh, that one would hurt, since the houses have sorta been promised :) lpinkus
  6. Here here. The drops are just an incentive for those who are not autoing, in case they feel like killing the shade, watchman, etc., for a possible nice item. lpinkus
  7. LOL. Really, L O L. I wouldn't have caught that, and if others didn't, you oughta reread it :) Level 1500. Well, I guess Runescape may be around for longer than we think. If they do make the limit 1500, I guess I'll have something to do after my grandkids are born. You are a madman, Blazik. Someday, in my nostalgic years, I will think back on your posts and chuckle. lpinkus
  8. I like that idea  :P it would do the same thing as when you're smelting or smithing. Like smelting, smithing, exactly. I have said this many times RE: the Drop All option; it's nice that someone took the time to read it and agree. Thanks. lpinkus
  9. Thanks for clearing that all up, Lord Mujis :) To be honest, whenever I begin talking to a player, age is the last thing I think about. You can tell pretty quickly how mature a player is by how coherent they are. Or, even if their language is sloppy, you can tell a lot by the way they ask a question, for example "Do I need gud magik for this qeust" instead of "Hey, I Want runes do my quast 4 me, its harrd" When I do start talkin age with someone, they're usually surprised I'm so much older, and, often, I'm usually surprised that the guys who seem really coherent are actually pretty young. I don't have any RS friends that I actually plan to meet up with at a certain time, but there's one guy I met a year or so ago. His name features the college football team he roots for. When he started talking to me, I asked him about being a fan of that team, and he said he wanted to go to that school. I then told him I had two degrees from that school someday, which he was wowed at :) Still, we talk fairly often and we trade or answer questions about quests and levels to help each other out. So, that's just my story about an intelligent, yet much younger player. I don't know if he's 15 or younger, but there you go :) lpinkus
  10. Right. Which is why houses should not take just money to build, but tiiiiiiiime. lpinkus
  11. The "COMPLETELY SERIOUS" lured me in me, and I almost fell out of my chair laughing and hit my head. Luckily, I was wearing my oak full helmet. lpinkus
  12. I see you've made about twice as many posts as me, you have rune armor, and are lvl 96 combat, so I assume you're joking about the horses. At least I hope so :) lpinkus
  13. I'm not sure what this idea means, so I'll agree :) Anything to prevent scamming and hacking is good. Also, it should be noted that Blaziken made a post that you guys didn't flame the stuffing out of, so congratz to all :) lpinkus
  14. I'm sorry, you've said this so many times that I must ask: Why don'y you join the official RS forums? lpinkus
  15. Ok, a few things. I posted this yesterday... "Still, I do hate all people younger than 15 :) Call me an age discriminationist if you will. J/K" I really, really hope y'all know what "J/K" means by now. If not, um, I was just kidding. That's in response to the "I'm not immature just because I'm younger than 15" comments. Also, I do help out with spelling and grammar, but I really never mean any harm. Lord Mujis, I'm a college teacher (really), and I'm often disturbed by the English skills of some students these days, and these are people whose first language is English. So, I hope you didn't take offense at my post. I also wanted to make that clarification because racism is a serious charge, probably more serious than age discrimination, so I didn't want the thread to drift there :) And yes, I wish people were more courteous on Runescape. The other day a new member (lvl 40 or so) asked me to help with the Observatory Quest and getting his symbol blessed. Now, I admit that when he said "Can you take me there, plz?," I said I was busy. However, I did tell him he could ask me any questions. So, as I fished for the next hour or so, he PMed me and I helped him finish the quest and get the symbol blessed. And, thankfully, he then said "ty" and didn't even ask for a free dragon weapon. So, courtesy does happen :) lpinkus
  16. I appreciate your idea, and although it's not nice to rip off younger players, selling high is part of the merchanting business. I learned fast to check prices here and at RuneHq. So, no :) lpinkus
  17. If you start up again, just remember what Guthix is all about: balance. Too much of anyting is bad, too little of anything might not be enough. lpinkius
  18. I agree with you, but I must point out that people under 15 are not a "race," nor are they a minority. The phrase you were looking for was "age discrmination." Still, I do hate all people younger than 15 :) Call me an age discriminationist if you will. J/K lpinkus
  19. I dunno, Crim, but I really haven't. I assume many people do get these PMs, but I don't. I would tell them: A) Sorry, I don't remember you. B) Um, why did you add me as a friend? C) (if they are scamming or being insulting) Get lost. Follow up to C) is Add Ignore. lpinkus
  20. Scientists have named that the Cornholio effect :) Thanks for the support of the idea, guys. Who knows, maybe it would be fun addition. lpinkus
  21. You know, that really sounds like a Jagex-type thing to do :P You're right, I guess it does. :) If they see this, they better put my name in the quest credits! Also, as I was killing Dagannoth for the 4th time for slayer (bleh), I realized I was in a "cave" of sorts, so perhaps that's the underground thing Blaziken was thinking of. Falador wouldn't work, of course, but somewhere like the dagannoth area would be fine. It's clearly located in the "ocean," dude to the bridges and causeway. I like your sig a lot, by the way, bubs. lpinkus
  22. Because it's a Java game and there are limits and lagging. JAGeX has to be very careful when they make such alterations. As far as the idea of escaping in the wildy: Yep, that sounds about right. They are considered lame, but... 1)teleporting 2)running 3)praying ...are acceptable methods of eluding PKers. I don't PK, and I have not been to the wildy in about a year, but when I go, I will be ready to do any of the previously stated. And I got no qualms about it :) lpinkus
  23. Ya, that's a good point. I should have thought of that! lpinkus
  24. Hmm, I don't ever get these. I assume, tho, it's people who forget why someone is on their list. I have plenty of people on my friends list that I can't remember :) Someone once suggested you could add a short description to each entry on your friends list, i.e. "sold me 200 laws," or, "gave me free anti." I'm all for that. It would make RS friendlier. lpinkus
  25. Not even underground? LOL!!! And I do mean that. People tend to just type it these days when they are not, in fact, "laughing out loud." Not me :) Hoo boy. Underground whale fishing :) I have no problem with whales healing that much, but, like others have said, they need to be a higher fishing level than sharks. And, of course, put 'em in the ocean. Of course, all, this discussion about harpoons, nets, and whales swimming in sewage could be avoided if you just read Moby [bleep] Wait a minute...Ahab as a NPC and a 'Whale Hunter" quest? Hmmmm... lpinkus
