Gatestone + DC
Yes yes yes yes YESSSSSSSSSSSS. Though this is more of a glitch more than anything, on my old comp I used to dc a lot, and since I always place my gatestone in a far away place, it's super frustrating to come back and find the gatestone gone.

The F2P General Discussion Thread
Just a bit of confirming needed for gravite weapons. I plan on getting a gravite 2h for some 1-item pking ownage in the wildy (I suck lol), and just need to get some things straight. Ok, now I know about the full recharge, which is 100k + 6.5k tokens. Shouldn't be too troublesome. About the lasting in 25 hours bit. It's 25 hours in combat, correct? Or do the amount of hits you take contribute to this? And the slash is -4 as well?
-
Are they any good slash weapons inf 2p dungeoneering?
Yes, if you're a pure, definitely go with a 2H. Don't listen to the guy who suggested mauls, they are inferior to 2H's because of the lack of a slash. The higher crush and strength doesn't work against crush-strong enemies (biggest examples: zombies). TRUST ME ON THIS. Don't bother with stab using anything other than a spear. Since you're str only, just stick with slash and crush with the 2H. Amitoz, I don't see how f2p monsters are "easier to kill". If anything it's actually harder than p2p because the level 100+ enemies and the defense of the bosses are still present, and f2p only has tier 5. There's a reason everyone uses spears/2H's + range/mage in f2p.

Best F2P Items?
I'd shy away from the gravite rapier personally, it's only barely better than a rune scimitar for melee combat training (assuming you're doing flesh crawlers/giant spiders) but with a slightly overwhelming cost. The same holds true for the green d'hide coif. Also, do not buy trimmed armor of any sort. They are no different from their regular counterparts.

Food
Our advisory teacher is so kind ^-^ Today she gave each of us a piece of choco-peanut butter brownies if we brought our silent reading book. Since all of us did, we all got one. Let's just say it's an awesome dessert, I never thought of peanut flavor in chocolate cake

The F2P General Discussion Thread
D'oh! How did I forget that gauntlets and boots have a slight offensive boost? #-o Well, if you manage to find some dropped on the ground, go for it, I guess. Ranged armor has useful range bonuses as well. But for the most part, armor simply doesn't protect you enough, and is heavy. Since f2p doesn't have agility, having armor on can get your run energy drained easily, especially when rushing or doing a complicated puzzle room. As for f2p monsters in regular Runescape, I can't think of a single example of a monster worth killing that has high defense... rune scimitar still takes the cake.

D bag dung partner
Okay, that just confirms the jerkiness of the randoms in w117. When going for a hood, it's best to just go for it alone or with people you know you can trust.

The F2P General Discussion Thread
This. This, this, this, this, THIS. Because of how extremely accurate monsters and bosses can be in dung, the difference between armor and no armor is very miniscule, especially since f2p can only have tier 5 armor. I literally facepalm so much at teams that make armor just because "it protects them more". No, it doesn't. Use your 2nd bind on a 2nd style (range or mage, assuming spear is your 1st bind), NOT a platebody. As for EggsYoke, in f2p, stab isn't a monster's biggest weakness. Most monsters don't even stand a chance against any style at around 80 attack. That is the reason why in f2p training, attack styles are neglected simply because of monster's 0 def. This especially holds true if training at flesh crawlers or giant spiders, two of the most efficient xp combat trainers in f2p. +4 strength isn't really worth 40k tokens and repair costs in regular cases, you are much better off spending the money on other skills to train.

Mother[bleep]ing logout bug
It never happened to me, but that sure sounds annoying. How can you "forget" what world you're on though? Provided that you don't refresh Runescape, clicking the yellow button at the bottom gets you back to the original world you were on...

Were Random events always this generous?
Mazes were never generous to me, in my experience. Though that may be because I keep finishing around the 60% mark... I wish we still get an option to pick for an xp lamp, of course the maze lamp being better than the other randoms (say 100x skill level, compared to 15x for school and 10x everything else).

Sonic - rip blogging
Yeah, it definitely has quite an odd yet unique and special theme for an RPG. It's seriously the most fun thing I've ever played, even moreso than my beloved Sonic games <3: Right now I'm in Summers and just got Poo, so I have a full party of 4 now. DONT DIE BLOG FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF Nah, it's really only starting to die because I can't really get enough time to play Runescape thanks to schoolwork. And if it really counts, I can say Earthbound is a distraction from Runescape as well. Must tell myself to stop procrastinating.

Random Events
Unfortunately Diango does not keep random event costume pieces for you :( which is why this has been kinda junking up my bank a bit.

Random Events
Gotta reword myself a bit. I meant that when a random appears in the wilderness and you get tele'd out thanks to an accidental screwup, it gets annoying trying to get back to that place (say you're Chaos Elemental hunting or doing clues). Am I the only one here with every single random event costume piece?
-
Random Events
This. Gotta love maze rewards and free xp lamps <3: As for teleing to a random spot, it's not that much of a bother since they don't tele you to dangerous spots anymore. Though, it is annoying when you get tele'd in hard to get places like the wilderness.

Beggars
Ahh, classic Erewhon. =D> On to the beggars thing. Yes, there are unfortunately people stupid enough to think that there is somebody in this world that will give him a free 10 mill. What's even more unfortunate is the amount of people who actually do fall for the scam and gives the money. Oh the stupidity of this world...

cool sites when you're bored!!
Meh, I just go on these forums and the official forums that SEGA has. I'm the one and only Sonic fan around here it seems. These meme sites are for kids really. And places like 4chan are just a pile of junk.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
Being forced to visit my relatives during Chinese New Year when I know it will be boring with them. Classmates constantly taunting me about the girl I like. Doing all those boring drills in school sports teams tryouts. People hating on things for no reason. (Haters gonna hate.) Auto mails on MSN with virus links. Having to recharge my laptop battery every two hours (yes my battery sucks that badly). Winter. --- That's all I can think of on the top of my head. Out of all of them #2 annoys me the most (obviously). Yes, I know I posted here way before.

2006 runescape vs. 2011 runescape?
Who says it's all about grinding? As a f2per who started in 2008, I say this game is still played for casual reasons. Obviously I prefer Runescape now because I didn't even know what it was a few years ago.

The Finest Fist of Guthix Strategy Guide - UPDATED
That's just your opinion for god's sake. Yes, I do not use any of the strategies listed in this guide. But do I think it's a bad guide? No, in fact I think it's good so for me, not everyone in FOG isn't just a pure mager which makes games extremely boring. For god's sake try to actually be good at FOG before you even comment.

Sonic - rip blogging
Thank you! :) Yes, I am going to get my ranged level up as well, as soon as I'm done with all my other skilling tasks (lobster cookings and mithril bars). However, the monsters that I actually train ranged on are slingshotted monsters (flesh crawlers) so it's unlikely that I'll get my prayer exp through this. Side note. Has anyone played Earthbound? I'm going through it right now, and let me just say it's the best RPG ever made.

It's possible to do that diary task as low as 52 runecrafting, though I severely doubt you can at lower levels. Just keep crafting water runes once you hit 50+, and you'll hit the 100 mark eventually. Remember, runecrafting is a skill that benefits you in the long run. The more you train it, the more you will get out of that skill (quantity/cash anyways, xp doesn't change).
