24-April-2012 - Fremennik Sagas II + Quest Reward Spins
The biggest impact on the market would be speculation moreso than a strong fluctuation in quantities supplied. You'd be shocked to see how much rune leaves the game daily in pvp clan fights that aren't looted. The climbing boots update had a larger "impact" on the economy than this update would have. EDIT: found the direct quote Though the climbing boots was an outright fiasco so if they're trying to correct bad precedence, that's fine by me. I'm afraid that this will be the excuse they will latch onto the most, though, simply because it's convenient.

This is how I looked if you could see my face while reading today's update logs: Jagex, if you're going to lie, at least try not to be as transparent. Or better yet, don't say anything at all. You've never explained yourself before to the community, why start now. Mfw Jagex: [hide][/hide]

The Game of Thrones TV series - Season 4
As the story breaks up into more and more points of view, it takes more time to feel like it has "progressed".

A good spot
Seriously? Okay. So if you want an accurate sample size? 500 probably, at least. But if you want good information on recording information/generating results, ask Hedgehog, Grimy, Tiezen, Quyenax, or other people who are strong in statistics.

If I refused to acknowledge your choice, I wouldn't have proposed suggestions for things you can cannon. Just saiyan. Post if you have any other questions then. So far they've been answered, both adhering to the cannon method and other alternatives that could improve your $/hr. :)

Feel free to provide the data then, because there's several people who already did the research on HAM people. If you're talking about ease because you don't have to click as much, then yes, cannoning for cluescrolls are better. If you're talking about ideal like most people would be - aka proftability - then no, HAM is better. To get back to your original question since you're adamantly refusing to abandon the cannon menthod, then maybe consider Alkharid warriors or rock crabs because of the # of spawns & low hp levels. Using 1 or 2 more cballs per shot in a multi area shouldn't bother you as much since profitability doesn't seem to be your main concern aside from afk-ability. There really isn't a lot of other options for you otherwise.

I can guarantee you and I'd be willing to bet my bottom dollar that HAM is faster and 10x easier and less costly than doing cannon. You're seriously overstating the "hassle" of dropping. You will frequently get a cluescroll within the first couple of minutes there. Whoever told you that cannoning was an ideal way to get level 1 clues was misinformed.

If you had the change to do it over again....
People who think if they chose not to play runescape, that they would have somehow not "wasted their lives", are lying to themselves. If it wasn't runescape, it would have been something else. That is the nature of addictive behavior. That is human nature. It's not any single game that harms people, but the harmful habits they've already developed probably way before even finding RuneScape. A time machine and a little regret won't change that. That is why I feel that engaging in a discussion of the shoulda-coulda-wouldas of RuneScape is a futile exercise. Worse, it's a dangerous way of justifying destructive behavior, since most of the people (again, a general statement here) still play the game they're lamenting over. It does very little to correct the behavior/addiction that is viewed as unhealthy or wasteful. We played the game. We had fun. If you're still having trouble with walking away, get help from your support structures. If you managed to quit and still regret the time you spent, chalk it up to one of life's snafoos and move on because chances are, if you never played RS, it would have been something else. Going back in time to change your behavior would give you a measly 5 years, maybe. Is it worth it to sacrifice a hard-learned lesson and the friends you made along the way? It honestly isn't, and it doesn't help you grow as a person, that's for sure. (again, "you" as in anyone in that situation)

Anyone who says no either a) assumes that their presumably 15 year old self would know what their 20 year old self knows now or b) a complete liar.

Morphic Hammer Calculator
It would be even better if it simply reported on the skill calculator how many hammers it would take, rather than making an entire calculator for it.

Good gaming laptops?
Just browsing on newegg (gave me something to do) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834215261 -Win7 64bit included -i7 processor (2.2GHz) -NVIDIA GeForce GT630M (2gb) -15.6" screen -4gb ram (1 stick) (mobo's max is 8) -usb3.0, hdmi port, etc I don't know if that's GREAT but at $650 (£403) it comes a good bit under budget with decent specs. EDIT: Herpderp. As Beau pointed out Newegg doesn't ship internationally. Tigerdirect does, according to their site, but they don't list international shipping charges outright, and the same model is also $50 USD more expensive... Still, if you're interested: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1798035 You have to call them to arrange international shipping orders though.

I'm surprised that nobody is complaining about them turning Ozan white. They Michael Jackson'd him on us :( Never remember him being black, but very tan. And in comparison to the other characters in the cinematic trailer, he is still tan. Blame the BLOOMGLOSSGO!#$@#!@#!$@!$$!@ of the edit-happy video renderers they hired.

See the Future...
That actually makes a lot of sense. We might even simply be beta-testing these 3 cities/areas in a "RS3" sort of area, similar to how RS2 was executed. GOD DAMN IT NOW I'M GOING TO BE DISAPPOINTED WHEN IT'S JUST A GOLDSELLING KIOSK IN THOSE AREAS.

See the Future...
I can't even begin to speculate for fear of extreme disappointment.

That follows with what sort of incentives they provided to the community after the previous bot-nuke was released, so I think you might be right. Damn good guess.

What you mean you don't believe them when they say they've got some monstrously good content coming up in May that we should highly anticipate the BTS for!?!?!? Yeah me neither.

Game update 19th April
It's not their fault if you're using some other application you know >.> I can't even begin to explain how agitating it was to read your post. What a wonderful way to start the day. Bad design IS their fault. Whether it's failing to provide a map application like Stev's, shoving vital information in hard-to-reach places, or knowing their limitations and working with the modding community to make the experience enjoyable and well-rounded. This is every bit as dumbfounded as their earlier flounderings, founded strongly in their desire to happily ignore any and everything that is their own shortcomings in addressing player needs. I'm going to agree with Jonanananas here. They made it easier to use for normal people to use. They shouldn't go out of their way to make sure that it doesn't conflict with a program that isn't theirs. You're completely missing the point of why it's an issue.

Game update 19th April
The only thing I care about is the key HUD. If they had even an ounce of sense, they wouldn't have affected the appearance of souls and edis very much. Though now, of course, I'll have to fiddle with my damn browser window just to keep DGSweeper from covering the [bleep]ing key HUD. Genius at work, yet again, at Jagex HQ.

SCP: Containment Breach
It's not SO bad. You're simply forced to blink if you don't do it before the meter runs to 0. So no real penalization to speak of, but it could screw you over at a crucial moment. I'm saying things are going to occur that won't make me comfortable sleeping after a game session when I blink. Oh...yes Yes that happens. A lot. ;_; It doesn't help either that the game is in such early stages of development that the save feature doesn't work, so every play through is automatically on the hardest difficulty (you die, your save is deleted).

SCP: Containment Breach
http://scpcb.wordpress.com SCP: Containment Breach is a free survival horror game created by some random dude based off the SCP concept (http://www.scp-wiki.net/), a group of items that have been locked away for the protection of mankind. This is the second decent game I've ever heard of created off of this concept/series, and I'm not going to lie, it looks downright scary. So of course, being the chickenshit person that I am, I've only watched a lets play of it. But it's free for download at that wordpress site linked above. I gotta say, it's worth checking out, even if it's only in alpha development stages. Pretty damn neat.

Squeal of Fortune + Buyable Spins
Next people will be comparing spin-buyers to nazis, and we all know where that goes. Buying spins will only cause jagex to add more transactions to the game that will be destructive to the game. There is also that slippery slope Jagex can easily go down. Do you really want a runescape where it is perfectly okay to buy a 99 and full torva? Buying spins literally supports the destruction of runescape. This is getting more and more ridiculous, you know that right. I'm not going to defend the introduction of microtransactions into this game, but even if you compare it to MT games like Maplestory, you can't "buy a 99" and the best armor in the game with Nx cash.
