  1. Right there with you. Nothing is worse than the rage induced by frustrating drops/clues. That's why we've got the rants forum.
  2. Sarcasm about sarcasm...this isn't inception - stop twisting my brain.
  3. We knew it was coming for ages and ages, but Bethesda said, "No, it's <another game>!" To be honest, the Elder Scrolls universe is rich with lores and histories that it could be TRULY amazing. However, given the slow-but-steady decline in...let's say "quality" of structure, I remain only cautiously optimistic.
  4. Screw putting ads on TV - they should put ads on Hulu and other services that have you sit through video ads. I don't know why they waited so long to do it. Worse games have tv advertisements.
  5. I like this, it would be neat if they could make bonecrusher-equivalent for creatures that dropped remains. agreed, I don't even care if they give me prayer exp, I just want the corpses gone edit lol at economic implications. All that means is that they'll be releasing a pay-for version that does the same thing soon to "balance out" the bs reason (of Jagex's) of "economic implications"

W99 is tip.it's homeworld. Many members of the HYT also frequent w119 for dungeoneering.
  7. I thought that as well. God, I hope not.

  9. To add onto this, if you can't afford a fury on your tight budget, consider unlocking/using Salve Amulet (e) for undead monsters like AZs. Fury should still be a big goal for you, but this will serve you okay in the meantime until you can get one.
  10. You're twisting my words. I listed very specific scenes of nudity where it simply wasn't necessary. The scenes you listed aren't what I'm talking about. I know full well this isn't a book, and that it's a TV program. You're barking up the wrong tree, here.
  11. I'm really hoping that optimus will be an unnanounced (in regards to bts) update this month. This is getting ridiculous. I'm actually having a hard time enjoying the prospect of this month - which is undoubtedly good - because of this.
  12. Like the one with Littlefinger watching the two prostitutes. Yes, you expect there to be sex scenes, there were tons in the books, but when you introduce two characters for the sole purpose of having sex scenes (Including Ros) when you have 600 minutes to tell a story that was 8-900 pages, your priorities are probably a bit skewed. Again, you're looking at this from a reader's perspective As pointed out earlier in the thread there are plenty of ways to demonstrate traits of the characters without having massive sets or cgi by just picking some of the easier - and not always more subtle either! - scenes that are easily placed in existing "sets". Sex and sexuality is pretty heavy in the book, too, and I understand that. But there are some things that just don't make sense and almost seem like showing bare skin just for the sake of it, which is something HBO is known for.

I'm probably off on a few years for Aang, you're right, but what I'm mainly driving at is there's a big age difference between them (development wise)

Aang was 10 in TLA. Korra is 17. Aang was a master of airbending at age 10, forced onto that path from an early age with the weight of the world on his shoulders to stop the fierce war breaking out across the land. Korra had everything on a plate for her thanks to the road of peace paved by previous generations as well as seclusion from most of the world. The world was more "aware" of their Avatar this time around and didn't want to lose her for another 100 years. I don't see why having different pressures for different main characters is a "bad" or "lame thing" unless people were crying out for a cookie-cutter copy of TLA. Who is to say she won't use that yet? Or anything else? 4th episode in--be patient.
  15. I hope that passing-around thing they did wasn't indicative of how the minigame will be played. I'm quite tired of pushing and pulling things with horrible path detection, thanks. Don't need a GOP 2. It wasn't what I was expecting, and I'd be alright with that normally, but even this was a little dull. Remember when subtlety was key? The ghosts by the old location of the Clan Wars Arena for Summer's End? Etc? Ah well. Credit for trying I guess.
  16. I'd go to Catherby simply because I'd like to be able to move around at faster than 1fps while everyone swarms the areas.
  17. From the tips and tricks section.
  18. I must've missed it too. Bah. ;_; Stannis needed a few moments like that to give him some humanity.
  19. Where was this? Right in the newspost.
  20. I appreciate attempts to communicate more, like we saw with this FB post or the explanation for why they couldn't apply wheel spins for Quest Capers retroactively. But after waiting years for times like this, you set yourself up to hope that when they finally did shatter that ice, they wouldn't be absolutely asinine. Hell in any customer relations situation you would expect at a bare minimum logical answers and explanations.
  21. But Stannis already met Renly? And there was no peach? Unless they deviate a lot from the book, I doubt very much they'll meet again. Stannis didn't give him his ultimatum, which is when the peach speech happens.
  22. Still plenty of time for them to fit those conversations into the story. They certainly didn't miss their opportunities. They're simple to do that the audience will largely understand, add to character depth, and are short and easily adapted to the screen. There are other subtle parts in the book that I can understand them omitting, like Tyrion's first encounter with Jon Snow and Snow's impressions of him as he leaves, but those things are no-brainers.
  23. ...Up to which episode did you watch season 2? Did not yet watch The Ghost of Harrenhal.
  24. If you're sinking into a gigantic vat of money while England's in a recession, I'd say that ship looked pretty damn nice.
  25. No need to be paranoid right now. From everything they've shared, it's just normal website issues. No need to stress yourself out :P You can get in using the workarounds posted in this thread.
