Most MMO's I see (and I don't think you can compare botting in other games to botting in MMOs) combat this problem by buying items that make leveling easier to get to the better content. It kills games like Conquer Online, AdventureQuestOnline, etc. I would rather stick with the typical MMO (where grinding is part n' parcel of the game) than see RuneScape go down that path. Not saying that's what you're arguing - just that they would take the easiest and most profitable solution, and I don't want them to do that.

Catching Fire *trollface* Eric van Lustbader's Ring of Five Dragons is an interesting blend of sci-fi and fantasy. Has some mature themes sometimes but overall a decent read. The series is on an indefinite hiatus though because van Lustbader makes more money regurgitating Bourne Saga books than writing immersive sci-fi/fantasy novels.

I think you tried to use one of the agility shortcuts and not an actual obstacle that you HAD to cross. The requirements are right, you only need 15 agility to cross the obstacles that have no other way around them, like the ones coming directly after death plateau.

Can you really compare SW pvp environments to wilderness pvp environments where you have a stronger base of healing items compared to risk-reward? SW is lossless and limited to certain low items for healing. I don't know how that can compare to brews, rocktails, etc...

This topic exists to discuss botting and its presence in RuneScape. This is not an arena to insult or make baseless assumptions of your fellow forum users. Not everyone will see eye-to-eye in this discussion, so if you're not prepared to accept that basic fact and rein in the name-calling, then simply don't post. Posts continuing in such a fashion will be removed as normal. This is just a reminder to keep a level head. :)

You know you dun goofed when you release a game that has your fanbase going to the FCC to lodge complaints and the backlash of that bad PR forces you to issue a press release about changing/expanding on the ending via DLC. Definitely something to go down the gaming history books.

People who don't PK shouldn't make pking updates. And I mean proper pking, not just safe castlewars where you're limited to bandages to heal or something equally asinine.

It's lovely that it says what you can grow, but it doesn't link at all to any of their respective pages. When referencing guides, I frequently want to know what I can get via that skill, or how much that particular item is. You see this a lot throughout most if not all the skill guides and it slows down navigation greatly.

Money can be made with the hunting skill at the cost of exp rates. Yes it has benefits, namely jujus which can't be purchased from other players.

RS doesn't really have combat complex enough to benefit from a support class. They tried it with the lunar spellbook and it just didn't work out.

If you had just started playing the game and you never knew anything of what it used to be, you wouldn't think anything of it. I guarantee it. And that's who they're going for - new players, who aren't familiar with the game. Make the early days more enjoyable and you increase your chances for retaining them as long-term customers.

The combination is unique to each player so you'll have to use the trial-and-error method last I checked.

Use turm. Nevermind, Powerfrog's right. Gano is overkill for it. Use elite void (black d'hide if you don't have it) or karils. Goliaths > cmaul > sara sword > zspear I think. SS and Zspear are same speed but SS has more strength.

You don't use void while on slayer tasks and you'd want to use gano/ahrims on slayer tasks with full slayer helm. No only the top and bottom can be made elite. If you're getting void for Glacors, you'll want both the melee and mage helms. But again, you shouldn't be using void for slayer/glacors.
