I thought that was the point of the hunger bar, you can only eat when you're hungry, and you can't heal to full health unless you're satisfying your hunger bar?

Well it might be that Acolyte or Partisan armor is that torva-like prayer armor that was speculated on, which could be cool I guess. But meh :P

I would be happy if they either made it so their current recovery system worked (far too many people attempting to recover accs with membership agreement pins, old passwords, etc and getting denied) Or a system that, so long as I keep the item safe, doubles my chances that I'll never have to deal with another automaton that doesn't read recovery forms again.

"I hate agility" has slowly become my mantra, even with BXPW.

It is very hard to walk away from things you have a strong emotional attachment to, be it friends you've made, work you've done, etc. And I'll tell you that from experience, it's that sort of attitude that shatters a community with uncertainty, panic, and stonewalls it; it's really very hard to deal with. I've only ever had to experience it from a clan's standpoint. I can't imagine how much stronger those feelings would be with such a vast community and project (in comparison to the size of the typical clan.)

You'll have to forgive me if I've misinterpreted your post, but it doesn't really make a lot of sense to me. You're not speaking of the community that chooses to remain there, are you?

If you're full you can't eat. Has anyone else eaten raw foods and got sick? I ate a raw chicken, my hunger bar turned green-ish, and shortly after my hunger bar lost twice the amount I tried to regain.

I'm extremely excited for 1.8 just by what I've seen on the pre-release but I sure as hell hope they weren't releasing it any time soon. The memory leaks are back and out of control. Though from what little taste I could get before the leaks and freezing made the game unplayable, I can wait contently if THAT'S the kind of content I have to look forward to.

People were using it to trust trade, meaning the people participating in the dungeon had to agree (and likely money changed hands in order to do it.) They never liked trust trading, because it leaves too many people open to scamming, which in turn results in tons of whining "OMG I WAS SCAMMED ;(" threads. They probably reckoned it a necessary evil. My confusion is why do they even let that skill, given its gigantic exp gains possible in the later levels, allowed to be multiplied in the first place if floor selling is such a concern for them? I agree with you, the whole issue doesn't make sense.

You can have your disagreements with how Jagex has handled this but if they are supporting fansites, then it's only natural that they adhere to the traits, qualities, and guidelines they hold ideal. My issue is that with this debacle, they best take a firm look over their terms of agreement that come with fansite support and ensure that all fansites know of them should they seek/already have JAgex support. No more surprise guidelines popping up and costing communities their support (and the irreparable damage to their userbase that follows). I have to wonder if they had stated that fansites seeking official support should do so within a certain frame of guidelines (like criminal convictions etc) would hiker have come clean and retired anyway? Who knows.

The update for one of the weeks will probably be given over exclusively to classic's reopening. Gives them the benefit of extra buffer in case they hit any last minute bugs to push it back a week. We used to frequently get 3 updates and then a no-update week in the past so I'm not really sure why this is a shocker to anyone. O_o

I played for 5 years and never had a keylogger. And one time I go to RSWiki without noscript activated, I get a Java.OpenConnection exploit while they were having a cycle of malicious adverts. No one's really impervious.

12AM BST is GMT+1. London's currently in BST, so their time isn't in synch with GMT. So two things could have happened: like most people in the UK they just assumed the time was still GMT and they really mean 12am BST and not GMT; or they could sincerely mean GMT in which case it's 7am est. Now you'll have to forgive me if my timezones are kind of rusty but I'm pretty sure the first explanation is what happened. Blog says GMT, but I think they meant BST, so we're looking at 8am EST not 7AM. And if that's the case then thats a pretty big oversight haha!

My thoughts exactly. Jagex can take down YouTube videos for copyright claims, but can't get people selling their property for profit? O_O Youtube vs an international scale of legal battles. Youtube: complies with one take down notice, generally not a lot of questions asked International legal battles: people protecting their livelihood, hydra effect, moneypit in legal fees You can't really compare the two.

I'm kind of surprised to hear that considering how badly everything crashed. What exactly did you sell?

You could ask him if you like via PM but honestly it takes only a few minutes to make a throwaway gmail account and do what you like.

I would say you should take that up with IPB instead of us. It's not exactly our call is it :P And to develop a workaround at this time would likely be infeasible. (Don't quote me on that, just a personal assumption.)

That is not the issue. The issue is the fact that big bones, despite being cheaper gp/xp-wise, would not actually save the OP any money. They are, however, being presented as being an option that saves money when that isn't true. This argument is based around refuting those invalid claims. And as I said at the end of my post, the information has been presented and unless anyone has any new information, move on. If you have any concerns, please stop derailing the topic and PM me instead. I'll do my best to answer your questions there.
