Loyalty rewards were designed to not have significant impact on gameplay, Aceethan. That's why they have short use time and VERY LONG cool-down times. And saying that the only reason to buy membership nowadays is not the tons of content they add (quests, minigames, etc) but these rewards are seems to be...well, very false. Whether we know a ton about them or not, they are not going to be very significant content. They simply weren't designed to be. Enough to whet people's appetites if they're looking for cool things to get for being a long-term member, but let's face it. They're not minigame-type contents, quest-type contents, or anything like that. They're just more items.

That's a sentiment I can definitely agree with, especially since it seems like they (Jagex) were just sitting on this information until it appeared as if it might bite them in the ass. All this fanfare and mud slinging is a bit much.

Striped vines iirc if given to Papa Mambo will let you temporarily ward off whatever type of jadinko you want (excluding god jadinkos)

TBH this... Kuradal has the passion of avenging her father coursing through her veins along with a fury that hell hath no... So... I'd rather not lose Kuradal as well :( I still want a storyline quest involving the hierarchy of the slayer guild and the 'toes' Duradal supposedly stepped on to make enemies in the guild, like they hinted to in WGS/talking with Kuradal.

It will be a very very long time before chaotics are outclassed, so if you're going to be constantly using them recharging them, you want to make your DGing progress as fast as possible. Upgrading your rings is an investment for the future, and it will make your life easier in the long run.

Probably because the item's still considered a potion, and all potions have a drink option. So instead of making the hunter potion completely from scratch in how it operates, they just made it like all the other potions and didn't let you drink it.

You can't drink it, but it still has the option. You use it on your juju vine flower patches to attract certain types of jadinkos that you couldn't normally attract.

No, Vine MAZE was released a while ago. Juju vine area was released recently.

Before the trollheim update, it went north through the wolves and then curved to the west. That should still be the case, I'd hope.

The guide is clear: there's only one path you can take. You don't want to go backwards (ie the way you came), so you keep forward. It's a long path from the ice trolls to Kamil. If you're ill equipped or have low pray, death is highly likely. If you haven't seen Kamil then you haven't gone far enough. Keep following the path.

Yes. It is. That's what video-game walkthroughs do. There's no reason to get philosophical. They have to be written very precisely so that the goal you're hoping to achieve (getting clueless player from point A to point B) is done without fail. If the audience doesn't make the connection, or doesn't understand whats written because the author assumes they have enough background knowledge/experience to make that call, the author has then failed in their goal. When you're writing for a very broad audience, you basically have to write like the message is for children. As for why they would make quest guides, well, anything to boost foot traffic to their site I guess. They lose tons of traffic a day to fansites because they have crap help information there.

I think the only thing I can really get on board behind is suggestion #3...and unfortunately, it's not really even for its ability to prevent bots. I just think it would be really cool to have quests involving the skilling guilds, at -starting -beginner -adept -master levels. Reminds me of Oblivion.

A walkthrough is supposed to do just that--walk you through it.
