I'm sure you can manage to criticize Jagex without posting pictures of [bleep]s, like those who've posted the other 239 posts in this thread. lol

Jiblix and Ken Genosis Demodded Over Speaking Out
Maybe a little less condescension next time. Surely such a point could be made without making this defunked Forum Mod who, honestly, doesn't deserve this level of fanatical attention.

Ghouls
He means that Armored Zombies have a better exp/hr rate than Ghouls. And because of this, it will take less time training overall. AM: 0:00-12:00 PM: 12:00-24:00 Some parts of the world use a 12hr clock, so that's why you see people use AM and PM to distinguish the time.

Jiblix and Ken Genosis Demodded Over Speaking Out
If you're getting every bit as hysterical as the misinformed people does that make you any better than the people you're upset with?

Ghouls
You only have to start it to unlock the area and it takes about 10min worth of work. :)

[INFO NEEDED] Court Case Guide
I don't think that's what he meant. I think he was talking about detailed walkthroughs for each case.

No one said that a referral system was bad. Saying that people are deluded because they disagree with you doesn't give your argument any strength. You say this program is to keep the game afloat, but if it's designed in such a way that its major incentive provokes its already existing stream of revenue to use it for themselves, no growth is achieved. If no growth is achieved then this program has failed in its purpose. And if it's released, knowing that it will ultimately fail in its purpose because of the type of rewards offered, then there must be a different reason for releasing it in its current state rather than reworking it to an acceptable compromise. Tell me what that other reason is Danq. I'm always used to thinking of botters as already at the required levels needed to start abusing the systems. It's hard to imagine otherwise, since the levels are so low to even simply go to Green Dragons. But you're right, when you put it in that perspective, it gets them to their halfway mark 10% faster than normal, which I guess would outweigh the cost of 6$ of membership. Fair point, thanks for that change of perspective. Don't get to have that often! :D

Gold farmers farm in game products for the goal of selling cash, not accounts. There's more profit in the former than the latter. And spending money to make money might work in the stock market but if you're spending 30$ to bot your account to maxed combat only to sell it for just over 80, you're not exactly making a lot of money.e And if someone is botting for personal goals, they gain more benefit from leaving a botting program on overnight than they do paying 6$ for an extra 10% boost. In fact, I can't think of anyone trying to stay under the radar willingly wanting to get an extra 10% gains to his daily exp and make his red flag that much bigger.

They don't benefit at all, that's a silly argument. Gold farmers do not care about exp. And if people are botting for exp then why would they pay more than they have to? We're assuming they're already getting away with botting, and 10% is not a significant boost.

Both, but there's more negativity towards Jagex than the players. It's not like anyone was really going, "I'm not telling my friends about runescape because I don't get anything for it"

5 per year at 6.99 = 35. Remember that new players don't have access to loyalty discounts (membership @5USD). IIRC the average cost of most subscription methods other than CC are 6.99, with CC being the cheapest at 5.95. So I guess it's more accurately between 30-35$. But if you're buying multiple exp boosts for yourself, your easiest bet is to pay by game card (6.99 / month ) because it would be a lot harder to produce multiple credit cards with different names, or different phone records :P

"Jimmy, here's 5$, go buy membership and play rs for a minute okay." "Why?" "JUST DO IT JIMMY" So for 35$ a year, you can receive 5 weeks worth of a 10% exp increase. Just over 10% of the year. Massive long-term effects? Not really. But from the hardcore addicts that's an additional 35$ per year on top of the 72$ they already pay. I think I learned from the last time these small updates happened (ornate katana) not to freak out but I have to really resist the urge to shout, 'Called it!' Now I'll go mope and play temple trekking.

Burgh De Rott Ramble/Temple Trekking was probably one of the most loved minigames before the update--but no one played it because there was no reason to past obtaining full lumberjack. Now the people who loved the game before actually have a reason to play, and thus are extremely vocal about their pleasure. And people who just didn't play it before have strolled on the scene to start something that doesn't suck. The only thing that's the same is some instances and the concept. So quite the opposite really--not THAT much has stayed the same. It's basically like a brand new minigame.

Anti-bot idea that could actually work
There are hundreds of clans out there with at least 30-40 members. And the most notable and organized pvp clans have upwards of 65 members. And what makes you think anyone would do this on their main? I can easily see a petty clan organizing an event to repeatedly choke an official of an enemy clan because of e-beef. And all of them would get away with it for the same exact reason botting is such a huge problem right now in RS. I'm sorry, but this idea is doomed at the start.
