Ikr. But this rule I think was put in place because we had a sniper scare a year before that. I guess they used security protocols to justify not allowing kids to take their backpacks. Never really made sense to me. But that was the only time I ever had detention. The teacher overseeing it knew me and laughed when I told him how I got detention. "That's bureaucracy for you," he told me, and then put on the TV in the room. So at least I got to spend detention watching cartoons, m i rite.

It depends on how he values his money. If it's something that he knows will pass, which I'm guessing this is the case because of his stated interest in the game still intact, it might not be worth cancelling. For one, he might lose out on loyalty points. For another, if he's struggling to find his goal in P2P, he'll have 10x that sort of difficulty in F2P. That basically ensures that he'd take a break, or possibly quit. So I'm not exactly sure how helpful that is :P

What haven't you done in a very long time that you used to love? For me, it was RC'ing. I was just about to take a break a year ago for the same reasons you were, and then I tried it again. I had gotten 50-70 rcing on nature runes back when they were 350ea. I used to love it. Although I started it back up and it wasn't as profitable as it was in the past, it helped me get past my bump.

Putting my backpack in a cubby hole by the guidance office. It was the perfect spot because it was right at the top of the stairs going into the cafeteria, and we weren't permitted to bring our backpacks there. It was faster than going to my locker, which was ALL the way at the other end of the building. After three months of doing it, I finally got caught and received detention. Doesn't really seem like the punishment fit the crime tbh, but whatever.

How could someone get banned for using SwiftKit? :-s Actually, it's not as rare as most of you think. There was a discussion board in RSOF of where people were complaining about getting banned for using Swiftkit. One forum mod said that it's apparently "against the rules" to use toolkits (which is dumb I know) to play Runescape. Some people get away with using it since they're more secret about it unlike my friend. I don't use SK because I think it's a waste of resources, but I'm curious. I thought the whole change from SwiftSWITCH to SwiftKIT was so that it complied with RS 3rd party client guidelines. Was there a recent change to SK's software that made it illegal again?

Bandos Chestplate increases your damage output, has a small bonus to pray, and the defense difference between the two is insignificant. The pros outweigh the cons. BCP > Dragon Plate If you can't afford the BCP and that's truly why you were considering the plate, save your money. Get a fighter's torso instead until you can afford BCP.

Do me a favor and click "Live Chat" on the forums, third bar from the top, right in between "Account Problem" and "TeamSpeak". That is the java client for tip.it's IRC server. It might be that you did not correctly switch servers on your SwiftKit client, and you're trying to enter a different channel entirely :P

I am similar to you in that I've played for a while and try not to break the rules. But I have a terrible temper. When you get irritated or upset, you'd be surprised to how easily things can slip through. And honestly, if it's a bored P-Mod sitting at ivies, I would expect him to be unwontedly harsh. It would give him something to do. >_>

Which, if anything, should be an indication that people will be hacked when there's a desire for their stuff, whatever the reason. I've got to agree with you here. I share sympathy with the TC, but...well, yeah.

It might help you break even more easily, but wearing it is by no means a guarantee of a visage. I'm assuming you're doing this for mage exp? I would not sacrifice anything that could help you boost your damage rate.

what is the point of putting a dang pin on there if someone can just delete it? *sigh* I was hoping to get my stuff back as on WoW, which I've been playing for 2+ years, they usually just give people their stuff back without an issue. On WoW they do. They rarely if ever return items in the case of hacking. The best thing you can hope for is to appeal everything, try to get your levels fixed, and start fresh.
