  1. I'm not sure how effective he would be as a hybrid at DKs, since it requires both good range and melee stats. No offense to the TC, but he would be very easily overlooked were he searching for a team considering both his melee and prayer levels. You're at a rock and a hard place right now: you don't have very good skills (by your own admission) and you don't have a lot of good stats for boss hunting, which are the two greatest ways of making money. Sooner or later, if you want to branch out in how you make your money, you'll have to bite the bullet and train something different. Green dragons, slayer, killing things for clues, these all involve combat and are decent moneymakers. But when you say "range" and "moneymaking", I instantly think of Aviansies. Personally, I would go for the clue-hunting right now. The chance of such rare, rising items are too tempting to pass up, small as that chance may be... But it's all up to you.
  2. If you are not Chivalry'ing or Piety'ing, I wouldn't expect you to get much over 60k exp per hour. As much as I hate to fall in line with everyone else with the trite answer...you'd be better off slaying, since you'd be making money as well while still gaining the same exp and semi-afk experience. What are you prioritizing at Armored Zombies? Exp, gp gain, or a medium of both? If the answer is EXP or a mixture, please consider ditching the Games Necklace, or instead just letting it take up a space in your inventory. It is worth it. At the cost of 7k (say the average cost of the ranarr you'd have to avoid picking up) you will gain better stats with a glory or even a fury. Likewise with the Ring of Wealth--if you have nothing else to wear in its place, that's fine, but look to invest in a Warrior Ring. After a few hours at AZ, you should have enough money for it without putting too much of a dent in your cash pile. EDIT: Take my answer with a grain of salt, it's been a long time since I trained at AZ's, and even when I did, I had Full Void. My answers about exp rates are really just 'educated guesses' rather than concrete answers.
  3. They already have, and recently too. Let me look up the news post. EDIT: Can't be bothered to look for it after searching through 20 pages. XD It was upgraded to something like RuneTek5.
  4. You don't need to hurt someone physically in order to cause pain. Perhaps you have a thick skin, but I suspect a barrage of harassment in the form of threats, letterbombs, phonecalls, etc would erode even the strongest person. And that's what people can do, and most likely will do, if the information is placed in the wrong hands. People are cruel. This will reduce flames on their forum, mayhap, but it will cause Blizzard to be responsible for the alternative means their users will take advantage of to get their 'internet victory'. I would personally prefer the trolls.
  5. Grats, I guess. You were organized and strong enough to win without the name changes. Was it worth it?
  6. The declining player interaction is what drove me to clans. It is constant immersion in player interaction--high leveled, complex, fun interaction with a healthy dash of competition! We (as in the clan community) have had their own slew of blows over time. The RWT updates hurt us terribly, arguably the most alongside sole PK'ers. And we still feel the pain of it even today, when we look at diminished activity and camaraderie of discussion boards while remembering what they used to be... But although the interaction is not as broad as it used to be, it is still just as deep. It is what makes the game for me. It is what keeps me still playing. It is why I can't quit RuneScape, which is wonderful and terrible at the same time. I loved that broad interaction though, which is why I started actually discussing things on tipit (not just marketplace threads to sell my god book pages, which is what I did for all of 2004 and probably some of 2005!) The forums might be a bit cliqueish at times, but when it's at it's best...When it's at its best, at the end of the day, we have a great deal to show others what it means to be a community. That close-knit feeling exists in so many places. Even if it's not on tip.it, it is infinitely precious in it's own way and shouldn't be scorned, though I know I'm not the only one who forgets that from time to time. It doesn't matter where it is, so long as it exists. It's what keeps this game and any other game going from the age of "spurr of the moment enjoyment" to "precious memories".

It's an option, surely, but he would not be reaping the best exp he could from such expensive methods. It's generally a bad option until he's at least 80. OP: Iron knives. You'll need the defense against fire giants.
  8. Dclaws is nice when you're in a melee team at say, Sara GWD, but if you don't have a ZGS spec to freeze her, you're asking for trouble.
  9. I've always loved helping the community with events in every single clan I've been in. When I am able to, there's nothing more than hosting fun events and have them go successfully. I think that if I didn't like wars and pks like I do, that I would probably be doing the same thing in a community clan.
  10. I read this on Consumerist. It terrified me, because I know what kind of idiots I play with and I know how far they would go to make other people's lives a living hell. I do not like it at all. This was the lazy man's shortcut.
  11. Sick Steen ran out of d'hide bodies. You should kick him for not being prepared. :shame: Good job BK, though it was kind of expected. You've kept somewhat steady pulls while Exo's have seem to have decreased. No doubt they'll pull out of it, though.
  12. Wow, I haven't followed KO's wars in a while. What happened there? Grats Envy, good job.
  13. Good job, T0. Jack can't lead, though :ohnoes: Better luck next time TK, wuzwitdapullmang.

I don't really think they meant the content that was supposed to span an entire new game to be rushed through either.
  15. There's nothing really remarkable about black demons. They drop effigies, they give a good amount of crimson charms, but have no profitable drops. You can safespot them with range or a hally, but it would be very slow going. It's up to you really, as you stand to benefit either way depending on what you want to train. :P
  16. Kimberly replied to ghjkl's topic in Rants
I don't understand what you're ranting about.
  17. I wouldn't really risk it, since its your first time solo'ing and if you're not extremely careful, you WILL get Dagannoth Prime on you, which if it catches you by surprise will kill you.
  18. Kimberly replied to Cheat's topic in Help and Advice
This might help: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Alchemy_Guide Certainly not a definitive guide but maybe someone can help you with specifics.
  19. I would recommend skipping. I don't know how effectively you could range safespot them (which you can find a diagram for how to here) and your melee stats aren't terribly great. Always wait for more opinions though, could be wrong.
  20. We do not allow discussion of merchant clans on the forums.
  21. Welcome back! I'm going to move your topic to Help and Advice so you get a better/faster answer to your questions. Good luck :)
  22. History repeating it seems. Grats DF, I'm surprised you didn't face them in a longer cap. Still, good victory :)
  23. I have noticed a large amount of assist requests and I wouldn't mind it getting a sticky, but people are always best served asking on populated worlds ingame. Rarely do CCs, forum topics, or stickies get answered. (Even on the RSOF!)
  24. It was long, long overdue. Ever since they changed the agility effects. It only took them...gosh, years to complete the fair warring ground that they said they were making.
  25. You're going to a clan to ask for a fight. It's a given that it's just going to be you two set. Honestly, I think you employed a dirty tactic here...when you didn't need to. You were probably good enough to win this fight without those 5 extra people, yet it tarnished your win. Very unfortunate. Looking forward to seeing more of your fights in the future, winning them the classy way I know you can
