  1. Peterpan538, although a respected member of the community, is not a member of the current Clan Staff. Policies have since changed since the topic was originally created. I do apologize that the recruitment board's rules were not updated, so thank you for (inadvertently! :P) bringing that to my attention. This has been rectified. But our policy still stands: we do not allow advertising merchant clans. Please PM me if you have any further questions. ^^

The biggest factor in growth is time. Keep it fed and over time it will eventually become a cat. I can't recall how long it takes to get from Kitten>Cat though. Check your familiar interface for how much is left until the next growth cycle and how hungry it is.
  3. Along with the Tip.It Board Rules, please observe these forum-specific rules before posting. When posting a Clan Recruitment Topic: Strictly, one topic per clan. Posts older than thirty days with no bumps or other replies are subject to being removed. No "Looking for a clan" threads. These belong in the Looking for a clan/group/team sub-board. You may bump your clan thread, but only by using the bump function (see images below). It is displayed six hours after being used. You, nor anyone else, may bump threads with comments such as "bump," "Join this clan!", "I love this clan," "We own," "HYT," et cetera. Only genuine replies may be posted. If you wish for your thread to be cleaned, contact a Clan Moderator via private message. If you post in another language you must provide an English translation even if it's a non-English clan - not all moderators speak Dutch, German, et cetera. Do not post misleading titles for your topics. Titles such as, "All pures look!", are not permitted. Look to see which section your topic best belongs in. If your clan is warring based, post it here, if it's not warring based, post it here. Problems? This forum is solely for recruitment and advertisement. War proposals, discussion, war outcomes, and advice all belong in the respective boards. Clans that work together to gain money via the grand exchange, through price manipulation or other means, may not be advertised here*. These include, but are not limited to: merchanting clans Investment clans manipulation clans Dicing clans (or other gambling) * - Whether or not your clan falls under these rules is determined at the moderator's discretion. If you disagree with a decision regarding your thread, please contact an administrator. [*]Do not deal with something on your own. If you have any problems with a member or a topic, then contact one of the moderators of this forum via the report feature. Remember that it is your duty to report something that is breaking the rules. If you see a breach of our rules then don't hesitate to report it. The Tip.It Staff wish you all the best with your search for a clan, or with your own clan. Happy posting. ~Originally posted by Peterpan538
  4. I'm sorry to inform you that he was wrong. Investment clans/merchanting clans/manipulation clans and advertising of these are not permitted on Tip.it. If you post a thread advertising such a group, it will be locked and removed from public view. If you have any further questions, please PM me.
  5. Yes. :) They boost two different things.
  6. Unless you have proof that the Pakistani government is sanctioning the actions of the group of extremists I would say that's a very ignorant assumption indeed. The strange device in Pittsburgh was a pipe bomb that failed to go off. They had to divert the marathon route that went downtown because of it. My college had a group running to raise money for my Adviser's ovarian cancer treatments during this marathon, so it was a small shock when they switched things up like that. It would be somewhat shocking if this fellow who was responsible for the car bomb had just flown from Pittsburgh to Times Square...Seems unlikely. Like a terrorist attempting to maximize the, pardon the pun, terror. Conspiracies are more threatening than a single person acting alone.
  7. People don't live in Gielnor, they live in the real world. So they'll name things accordingly in order to make them more accessible to people, be it in puns, corniness, or whatever. This isn't a true clan tournament, IMO. The one thing here that still irks me is that Jagex just considers a loose group of people in a clan chat (ie this international idea) a 'clan'. That's not what the community views it as. XD There's a much more intimate and deeper association in true clans. But whatever. This looks cool and I'm not going to get up-in-arms about a name XD Hope so. They did mention this event would celebrate clan chat changes...God, wouldn't that be lovely! :yikes:
  8. Holy crap, an actually interesting clan-oriented event. They're finally catching on! EDIT: and changes to clan chats coming soon? God, I'm in heaven.
  9. Let's try to take this topic seriously. :P I'll be removing spam replies if this continues. If you want to get your spam-fix, go play in the Forum Games board.
  10. The rivalry died? News to me. I always see jibes between both clans. Grats CR. :)
  11. Looked good, but kinda expected. Gotta love AC for stepping up and helping keep it clean.
  12. +1  I blame Darkblade424. Congratulations DW.
  13. What I don't understand about you guys, TK, is that you clearly have the skill in the arena. And you can be classy. Yet it seems almost at times like you choose not to and choose just to be another clan that flames. Why? Grats, still can't take away from the solid performance, but I wish you'd stand out of the pack more.
  14. Congratulations, you two. So happy for you! Except Jimmy.
  15. Ah. Yay. If I ever have to be wrong, I'm glad it's under circumstances like these. Thanks for pointing that out guys. ^^
  16. Different kind of case though isn't it? Bands go on tours and they usually eventually pop up in your location. This has no guarantee of EVER coming anywhere close to the states, not even Canada. If they said, "Yes we'll probably look at doing these in different countries", I wouldn't be so frustrated.
  17. They paid because they can go. Yes I get that. Why should I pay when I can't go though just to obtain an item? The ends do not justify the means. Yes it's a little selfish, but come on. Don't even try to tell me they aren't going to be getting dozens of other exclusive freebies. Why couldn't they leave it at that? True, and I guess that's where my little bit of selfishness comes in. But there's something a little unsettling in that, while I have the financial means to afford a ticket, I do not have the means to fly over there and pay for a two night hotel stay and fly back, so I'm essentially missing out on my chance to obtain this item. This little piece of history. And I'm big on collecting history.
  18. You might be nuts. I can't find any hint of rollback discussion on the RSOF. Maybe someone else can confirm/deny for you. :ohnoes:
  19. I disagree. How is it fair that by accident of simply being born across the ocean from the eventual Jagex HQ that I have absolutely no opportunity to attend this event? Yes I can purchase the ticket and redeem the item if I seriously wanted to, but why would I put that money into an event and get 5% opportunity 'payback' than I would if I actually lived in England and could attend? I don't know. Call me bitter..but this doesn't seem fair.
  20. Personally, I'm in the same boat as you. I didn't grind out Dungeoneering because I don't have a lot of free time--which Dungeoneering requires in abundance. I think it's an achievement. Poo on you who don't  Grats.
  21. Wow, what happened, Gladz? Grats Legacy.
  22. Hah...they brought friends and they still couldn't win. That's karma for you. That's a dominating amount of kills. Good job TKO.
  23. Hah. Now that's the ticket. Quality > Quantity. Good job Envy.
  24. Loool. C'mon, when did you really find out that LT was out :P Good job TR. :)
  25. DS?

Kimberly replied to Goldenjkered's topic in Off-Topic
It's as big as the original DS. They made it smaller because people complained about how bulky it was... Personally, you can't take me away from my lovely little DS lite. I don't need no stinkin' camera, no bigger screen. The loss of the GBA port in the recent versions of the DS (i and XL respectively) hurts me too much to want to invest in them. I still have Pokemon Ruby/Emerald/Sapphire/FireRed/Leafgreen that I like to play on a regular basis.
